Very limited parking. Construction going on second floor not to OSHA code. Bathroom door squeeked every time open, sink would not drain. Nothing to put clothes except on floor in bathroom-no shelves or real counter space. No washclothes, hand towels.Room not cleaned. Could smell smoker outside of room. Only real positive could walk to shopping and eating places wouldn't lose parking spot.

The beds were uncomfortable, there were not enough blankets, it was loud, the pool is under construction but the gate was not locked and my kids tried to wander in which was a huge safety hazard.

They're doing a really good job with the remodel. The pool was a big reason we chose this place. It was under construction. I also thought there was a tub in the room. 100% my mistake but a bummer. Great location though. Will definitely return.

It should be mentioned that you are under construction. The floors in the room slope, the bathroom needed to be cleaned and your reception area is a complete mess. I’m hoping that your renovation will be completed soon

The room was updated, but the bathrooms are tiny. The shower was tiny and the shower pan needs to be replaced as it was sloping on an angle. It is convenient to shopping, and the staff was great at making sure our rooms were ok. We had to change my mother's room as someone had been smoking in it. They were very friendly and amenable to helping us with whatever was needed. There is a breakfast that was good. Choice of Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg & Cheese sandwich, Waffles, bagels, cereal, toast and yogurt. Coffee, tea, milk and juices. They also have a laundry room, which came in handy after we got caught in the sudden storm downpour and got soaked. Overall a decent place.

Fine for a solo traveler, I'm glad I didn't stay here with the family. The AC sounded like it was trying all night long but just couldn't quite get the room cool. Also very bummed that half of the car chargers were bagged over, and the other half were Tesla only

Hotel was good. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. But bathroom was cramped, small sink,small shower,no shelf for toiletries. Ice machine broken 3 days we were there.

We were in the separate building which was fine but had very limited parking near rooms. But noticed there was additional parking a little down the street that was also for the hotel. It would have been helpful if we were told the first night.

Biggest gripe is no housekeeping for the entire 4-day stay. Not that they didn’t have it but that they just didn’t get to our room. We had to go retrieve our own clean towels from the other building and empty our own trash at the dumpsters. Understaffed and run down. They bought the hotel next door and it looks like they overextended. Everything looks run down from the spartan bathroom and toiletries to the drab lobby area, with the bare bones breakfast. Bed was comfortable, AC worked ok but on the noisy side. Too many hotel options in Tahoe to get away with this subpar service for the price. Won’t be back.

My wife and I checked in about 1pm which was great because we had an important meeting to get ready for immediately when coming into town. We were placed in an upstairs room, and we let the woman at the front desk know we did have two dogs. One service and one not. Upon opening the door to the room, you can immediately smell that it’s a pet room and it STUNK. There were black stains all over the carpet in the room. The shower was a half a shower? Really weird. The bed sheets and comforter used had yellow stains all over, indicating that they use the same linens for pet rooms. I understand that we have pets, but that doesn’t mean to put us in an unsanitary room to save yourselves money of something? Our dogs are well trained and would never soil in a hotel room. We had to run to our meeting so we just put our belongings in the room and went. When coming back a few hrs later we called the front desk to let know these concerns. She immediately came over with a new comforter. Didn’t ask to take the old one back to even assess. When coming by the room, we let her know please come inside. You can smell how bad this room is and there’s not even a window you can open in the room to air it out. She then proceeded to let me know the next door we could transfer to that room, but it is a kitchenette and she will charge us more. WHAT?! Unacceptable. Worst stay ever. Phone wouldn’t work in room, no windows, unsanitary conditions. Rude employees. “Breakfast” is a sorry excuse. So bad

Truly one of the most run down and dirty hotels. We felt pretty unsafe here. Rooms don’t get cleaned. Ceiling are covered in black mold which is painted over (peeling paint). Pictures show open room and fireplace but there are no fireplaces. Room so small when you open door it almost hits the bed. Literally had burned down car in parking lot.

Overall cleanliness was adequate. The room did have a musty smell, maybe an air freshener would have helped. The continental breakfast should be described more as leftovers or what is available in the pantry. There was no creamer, when asked the host explained that they ran out but then the next day, there was still no creamer. I’m not a germaphobe but there was a gallon of milk to use amongst all guests instead of individual milks for cereal or to put in coffee. Small changes could make this place much more of a great place to stay. There were full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion but no body wash.

Clean rooms, beds were comfortable. Great continental breakfast. Walkable to shops, restaurants, etc. Definitely would stay here again. My only complaint is they need towel racks in the bathroom. Other than that great place to stay!

The location is definitely the highlight here. It’s close to everything and walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, which made the stay really convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having plenty of outlets and good Wi-Fi so I could work remotely. The TV was also nice with easy access to streaming platforms like Netflix. On the downside, the bathroom wasn’t clean and even had a few dead small flies on the wall. The shower pressure was so weak it will easily triple your shower time. The free breakfast was nice to have but just the basics like bagels and waffles. Overall, it worked for a short stay if you care more about location and basic comfort, but don’t expect much beyond that.

It’s a good hotel with some cosmetic thing needing attention. I was running so late that day I’m so happy there was someone available to check me in at 3 am. She was very nice and an easy check in. The room was clean however it did have older carpet so the wear and tear did show. The one main problem I had was the shower was small. Anyone of a larger size like myself would have problems in the shower. It’s a stand alone and reminds me of an RV shower. I will add that it does look like upgrade are happening and maybe they just haven’t gotten to that part. I didn’t partake in breakfast as I got up to late one day and next day I was leaving. However it did look good. The make yourself waffles were there which is always a fave of mine. No problems at hotel had a great time and bed was comfy

Our room was ready to check in promptly at 3:00 p.m. The room was clean and the King Size bed was comfortable. The motel is quite old with no green area or swimming pool on the noisy busy main road to Stateline, NV. The Continental breakfast included with our room was okay. Seating is a little tight. We were located downstairs and we heard a lot of noise coming from the room above ours. We also heard lots of children yelling outside our window.

The room was updated, but the bathrooms are tiny. The shower was tiny and the shower pan needs to be replaced as it was sloping on an angle. It is convenient to shopping, and the staff was great at making sure our rooms were ok. We had to change my mother's room as someone had been smoking in it. They were very friendly and amenable to helping us with whatever was needed. There is a breakfast that was good. Choice of Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg & Cheese sandwich, Waffles, bagels, cereal, toast and yogurt. Coffee, tea, milk and juices. They also have a laundry room, which came in handy after we got caught in the sudden storm downpour and got soaked. Overall a decent place.

Front desk did not care. Awful at hospitality. Tv didn’t work, no one showed to fix it. Thin walls Moved me to another room that wasn’t cleaned. Delayed my vacation by about an hour and a half. Had to reset my optimism about vacationing at a lake area where hospitality is amiss.

It was great for what I needed. There could be some hooks or another surface in the bathroom because the sink was really small. The bed was comfortable, the fridge fridged. The desk attendant was really, really lovely and I hope she is well taken care of!!

Diana at the front desk truly went above and beyond! She was incredibly helpful with any questions or issues I had. When we arrived, the fridge wasn’t cooling, and she quickly came to check it out. Not only did she address the problem right away, but she also suggested other solutions. Her customer service and problem-solving skills were excellent. Because of this level of service, I would definitely return.

I had a disappointing stay at the Econo Lodge Inn. During the night, there were unattended dogs barking in the room next to mine, which made it difficult to sleep. I tried calling the front desk, but no one was available—there was no staff on site to handle the situation. The police had to be called, and they also confirmed that the front desk was unstaffed at the time. When I brought this up to the front desk in the morning at checkout, my concerns were brushed off, which I found very frustrating. Additionally, the staff was unable to provide basic local information, such as nearby fast food options. The room itself had issues as well—the bathroom floor was water-stained, and the shower leaked water all over the floor when in use. Overall, the lack of service and attention to maintenance made this a poor experience.

Our first day, another guest began looking for a bowl for cereal, the staff member working behind desk said kind of snarkily that there wasn't any bowls and that's why the cereal wasn't put out for guests. Same staff member was irritated when she saw the cereal was out from under the counter the guest's husband had pulled ou. I spoke up and said, if you're out of bowls and put the cereal away, you probably should put the oatmeal away as well. She looked over at me and said, that's a good point. The point is, it wouldn't have hurt to ask someone on staff to run to dollar general or somewhere nearby and purchase a couple packs of bowls. Breakfast was only about halfway in and there were no bowls, no cereal, and no way to really eat oatmeal. And there was a room filling with hungry guests. Surely there is petty cash set aside for emergency situations such as this. Another reason why I find myself a little irritated with this particular guest services rep, is she was sitting next to the dining area and never got up to even check to see how dirty the dining space had gotten. I had to ask her for a clorox wipe to clean the counter, and the tables around us. I do understand she may have been working on a project on the computer. But generally when someone does something that isn't their job, especially a paying guest, the other person will say thank you. Instead, I was the one who said thank you for the clorox wipe. On our second day, same lady, same counters needed wiped down.

The location is definitely the highlight here. It’s close to everything and walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, which made the stay really convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having plenty of outlets and good Wi-Fi so I could work remotely. The TV was also nice with easy access to streaming platforms like Netflix. On the downside, the bathroom wasn’t clean and even had a few dead small flies on the wall. The shower pressure was so weak it will easily triple your shower time. The free breakfast was nice to have but just the basics like bagels and waffles. Overall, it worked for a short stay if you care more about location and basic comfort, but don’t expect much beyond that.

Location is in the perfect spot for tourists. 5 minutes away from Stateline and down the street from nice beaches. Room is very clean and cheap given for the location. Check in and out was easy and staff was nice. Would definitely stay here again for another weekend trip.

The room was very clean with everything we could need. The continental breakfast was basic but very good with waffles, fruit, yogurt, bagels, to go breakfast sandwiches, coffee and juices. We stayed for one night. Definitely would stay again when in the SLT area.

Overall great value for the convenient location and price we paid! Bathroom seemed on the older side and shower was small but overall clean and spacious room. You can hear traffic on the road so I’d recommend bringing earplugs but it’s not too busy at night. Front desk staff was nice and let us leave our car in the parking lot for the rest of the day after we checked out. There was also free breakfast (waffles, breakfast sandwiches, apples, cereal, bagel/toast).
Overall great value for the convenient location and price we paid! Bathroom seemed on the older side and shower was small but overall clean and spacious room. Overall cleanliness was adequate. The room did have a musty smell, maybe an air freshener would have helped. The continental breakfast should be described more as leftovers or what is available in the pantry. There was no creamer, when asked the host explained that they ran out but then the next day, there was still no creamer. I’m not a germaphobe but there was a gallon of milk to use amongst all guests instead of individual milks for cereal or to put in coffee. Small changes could make this place much more of a great place to stay. There were full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion but no body wash.

Staff was very nice in the front. It was a very quick check-on. The room did have an AC/heating unit but you only have three thin sheets as blankets. I’m not sure if they change this during the winter months. The room also smelled like bleach, but not necessarily felt or smelt clean. I only stayed for a night so it was fine for a quick stay. The room had a microwave and fridge which is a plus! Overall, it was okay and wouldn’t mind staying again if the rate is reasonably priced.

Rooms were decent comfortable clean. It was Quiet. Had a good night. Rest for the two days that we were there.. stairway and handrails made out of wood. Got a splinter on my hand. Going up the First day on the second day. Coming down. I got a splitter my other hand but other and dad. I’ll go back there. I liked it.. wish they had an elevator to something about those handrails and the stairs
