They have a huge collection of VHS movies that you can take to your cabin and watch for free. Also DVDs, but I was interested in all the old westerns on tape. Fun step back in time while staying in the cozy cabin.

One of the better hotel stays in memory. A quaint spot in Woodland Park that has the feel of luxury. Was quiet with a rustic vibe. The DVD and VHS collection was epic. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. Plenty of towels and bathroom amenities. Shower water pressure was great. Full size coffeepot. Plenty of hooks to hang coats and hats. Breakfast was simple. A quick snack to start eh day. Coffee was excellent. The kitchenette in my room was adequate with a full size refrigerator. Ice machine glory! Didn't make it to the hot tub. Overall I shout "bravo" and will visit again. You should check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Got towels every day but they didn’t clean much else. Room was very spacious. Easy parking. Door lock batteries died and it was 4th of July and they had not a single person at motel to help so we couldn’t lock our door when we left. We even called emergency number and got no answer or reply. Wouldn’t recommend.

Pet Friendly so the small cabin was perfect for us. Friendly and accommodating staff. Hot tub was hot, private. Easy location for sight seeing but far from the crowds in nearby Manitou Springs. Restaraunts in area good and some within walking distance.

This is a great place! The cabin was spotless and well equipped (except it needed wine glasses). So comfortable….they thought of everything. The hot tub was clean and well maintained as well. Will absolutely stay there again!

Upon opening the door of our cabin, we were greeted by a gaggle of bugs ranging from spiders, a large black beetle, and several other small bugs. The small bugs we questioned to be Ned bugs, so we did some googling- and we still aren’t sure. We have put all of our items up high- fingers crossed we don’t bring home any extra unwanted guests.

We stayed one night in a cabin plus three nights in a 2-bedroom suite. Both were clean, attractive, spacious and quiet - loaded with unique personal touches in both rooms, and the view is beautiful. The staff were great - very late arrival was easy with no issues and they handled every request with no fuss.

We stayed in the lodge which was very roomy and very clean. The staff was nice and check in and check out was very easy and quick. The only thing that could have been better was the beds and pillows. The mattresses seemed very old and sagged in the middle. The pillows were extremely flat. This made for an uncomfortable night of sleep.

Place was great! I’m so glad it was dog friendly and the cabins were super cute. Wish the ac worked better though, it was really stuffy and we had to go buy a fan from Walmart to make the room comfy.

The cabins are cozy & safe. The bed was comfortable & the place clean; it was a fun throwback to browse all the VHS tapes for rent in the lobby and pop one in the player back at the cabin. Highway 24 is pretty close so you'll be hearing traffic from time to time, but overall a good place to stay!

The property manager called to let us know the code to get in the cabin because we were checking in after 8pm. Very friendly staff in the office in the morning. Nice detailed book of things to do but no wifi password listed in cabin.The bathroom was not user friendly. Heat worked great once we turned it on.

I guess we didn’t read close enough on the details. We were expecting a small log cabin , as shown in the pics with a view of the mountains, and instead ended up in “lodge” and the “view” was a tree outside of our window…. A little disappointing for a weekend getaway. The staff was friendly though and the room was clean. The Mexican Restaurant across the street was amazing!!!

My family and I stayed at the Eagle Fire for 4 nights, and it was a great "base camp" for what we needed to accomplish. The rooms were large, and clean. They had every amenity needed for a family, or if traveling alone. The property was well kept. It is in walking distance to shopping, and eateries in the Woodland Park area. Hands down, its the BEST affordable place in Woodland Park!

One of the better hotel stays in memory. A quaint spot in Woodland Park that has the feel of luxury. Was quiet with a rustic vibe. The DVD and VHS collection was epic. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. Plenty of towels and bathroom amenities. Shower water pressure was great. Full size coffeepot. Plenty of hooks to hang coats and hats. Breakfast was simple. A quick snack to start eh day. Coffee was excellent. The kitchenette in my room was adequate with a full size refrigerator. Ice machine glory! Didn't make it to the hot tub. Overall I shout "bravo" and will visit again. You should check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Cozy room- older decor but clean. No shampoo in bathroom, “breakfast” not good in office- but doesn’t open until 8 am and paid more than $200 for room including taxes and fees. Just not a good deal.

This was a wonderful stay. So clean. Excellent friendly staff. Furnishings were very tasteful. Excellent continental breakfast. Everything was perfect.

Lodging was basic but adequate. Full size fridge and kitchenette was nice to have. Property was nicely up kept. Front desk staff was friendly. Only complaint was the coffee pot was dirty.

Front staff was wonderful, breakfast was a perfect quick grab, beds were comfy, room was clean. Felt more like an AirBnB. We loved it! Already booked my next stay.

This is a fantastic place for families! Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, with everything we needed for a super relaxing night. We took advantage of the huge lending library in the lodge and borrowed board games, puzzles, and a throwback dvd, and we had such a nice evening. Our beds were very comfortable, and I especially appreciated having a separate sink and mirror outside of the bathroom, because it totally eliminated any fights over getting ready. Continental breakfast in the lodge was appreciated, and the coffee was tasty. This is a lovely, cozy place to stay, and we would absolutely stay again!

Biggest thing our Cabin (Cabin 2) needed was a good mopping of the hard floors and someone to snake the drain of the bathroom sink. It was very slow to drain. But, it was a fun experience. Especially getting to watch VHS movies for the first time in nearly 15 years. Very cool and unique experience. Would recommend highly, with some slight improvements.

This was such an awesome place to stay. Most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The room was so nice and it was so quiet during our stay. The grounds were nicely maintained. They are dog friendly and they had a great area to allow for potty and some space to play. Convenient to dining options and nice view. We even had a family of deer strolling down by. Laundry room onsite if needed as well. If we ever are in Woodland Park again, we will definitely stay here. Thank you for a great experience!

Property is in a good location in town. The room was very clean with no issues regarding the room at all. The issue was we booked a King bed and ended up with an oversized double or small Queen bed. The front staff young lady didn't have the authority to do anything and said they were booked that night. No follow up call from a manager to check on the issue was done. Could of and should of been handled better and a small refund should have been offered.
