Our stay was fantastic. I wish we would have planned to stay longer. Our little cabin was perfect. Tessa and Bernard were great hosts. I feel like we made friends. They were able to accommodate my wife’s food issues even though I forgot to mention it until four days before our arrival. And the food was phenomenal. We look forward to going back.

Tessa is extremely rude. Bernard was actually very nice and was the only reason I even considered adding a star but truly the stay was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. There are water stains all over the ceilings. The walls are cracked due to foundation issues. Our room had cobwebs. The beds are so uncomfortable you can feel each spring. The worst part for me was the black mold all over the bathroom walls. I even found a live roach which I was accused of bring because they said “we don’t have roaches”. Interesting since the entire inn was full. Then i was told it was a grasshopper. I attached a photo, don’t worry. So you can decide. Lastly, we can’t eat in the room. So we went downstairs to eat in the dining room. Tessa said no you can’t eat here. Go outside. So we ate outside like dogs. Don’t stay here

This review probably doesn't accurately reflect our stay at Taylor House. We felt right at home. Bernard and Tessa will make you feel right at home. The house is beautiful. You have to understand that it's old and enjoy it as such. It's beautiful inside and out. Very well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful. The attention from Tessa and Bernard is exceptional! The breakfasts are special, very well prepared, different and well presented and served. First time that lodging is part of what we enjoyed on our trip. I would definitely stay at Taylor House again and would recommend anyone to do so.

The owners meet us upon arriving and was very nice. They let us know not to travel to the city going the direction google was taking us due to no streetlights and very windy roads. The owners were always available and very friendly. Loved our room even though it was a house we felt like we were the only ones there. Great get a way, very relaxing.

We had a great time. But seeemed a little over priced for what it is. The place could be better if some more effort were put into it. But the owners are very sweet, and house has great charm!

This review probably doesn't accurately reflect our stay at Taylor House. We felt right at home. Bernard and Tessa will make you feel right at home. The house is beautiful. You have to understand that it's old and enjoy it as such. It's beautiful inside and out. Very well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful. The attention from Tessa and Bernard is exceptional! The breakfasts are special, very well prepared, different and well presented and served. First time that lodging is part of what we enjoyed on our trip. I would definitely stay at Taylor House again and would recommend anyone to do so.

Easy access to the Episcopal Retreat center where my Retreat was held. Amazing breakfasts. The owners are cheerful, friendly, and readily engage guests in conversations.

This is a beautiful old house and the rooms are in need of upgrades, especially the mattress! The room we got didn’t have a private bathroom, so be aware of that if you stay in room 4.

We did not have a room in the house, instead had very small room in an out building. Room was musty. Had small window AC unit. No tv. Some stains on old pink carpet. Main house locked at night so no access to coffee or TV. No ice available. WiFi went out every night and there was no cell service so we couldn’t check on our house and dogs. Inn keepers / owners Bernard were very pleasant however we would not stay there again.

Tessa and Bernard are outstanding knd host! They treated us and hope vice versa like family. This is annual girls trip and won't go anywhere else to stay. Breakfast and coffee were amazing!
