Timber Lodge Inn

Beds were very firm. Lot was small and filled up when lots of people were staying. Breakfast stated continental online but turned out to be only toast and oatmeal. There were only 5 pieces of bread left by 9am. There were no toiletries provided at all, no soap bar for washing hands, nothing for the shower. I love the location in Roslyn/Cle Elum area that’s the only good thing about this place. It’s also mildly charming in a country way but felt run down.

Evening receptionist was lovely. The morning one, not so much. Lobby was nice and updated. The rooms were not which was fine, but they were not very clean. Thankfully the bedding was clean but the mattresses are hard as a rock and could use a replacing. During our stay, the door handle for the door leading to the outside fell off. Thankfully my husband had tools in the car and could fix it, because we couldn’t get a hold of anyone.

The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy and I had a little patio outside of my ground level room facing the back. I will definitely stay here again. Coffee is near the front desk and breakfast is oatmeal and toast, but that absolutely didn't matter to me.

Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, needed two remotes for the TV, slider had a stick in the track for security, the screen door was hanging off the slider, the bed was a brick, the toilet and counter were super short and I’m only 5’4. Dog poop wasn’t picked up, just watering the grass over it. We asked for extra towels and were given ripped up towels. The lighting was horrible, could hardly see yourself in the mirror. There was a deadbolt and chain on our room door, what kind of things happen there?

Front desk lady was extremely friendly and helpful. Free coffee whenever you want in the lobby. She gave us directions to a club we wanted to go to in town. The rooms have microwaves and little refrigerators. Such a cute little place.No hairdryer in room.

It was a quaint little place with a friendly staff, a little bit antiquated, but not too bad. The only thing I didn’t like was that it had a physical key which I had to go through a series of doors which only opened one way in order to drop it off in the morning when I was leaving early. There was $100 lost key fine being held over my head.

This is an older motel that has had some updates. It was substantially less costly than other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly and it is noteworthy that there are two medium sized dogs living in the lobby. The breakfast is limited to toast or instant oatmeal with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and instant hot apple cider available. For the price I would return.

It was clean...from there it is downhill rapidly!!!! No front desk person from 11:00 to 3:30...so inconvenient!!!!!! Lady at front desk was short, grumpy and disrespectful!!! There is NO...I REPEAT!! NO house cleaning...no ice machine...no elevator...keys don't work...walls are paper thin...shower is a trickle...carpet dirty...bed was hard as a rock, pillows so thin and scummy!!! Im sure i have missed someone!!! Stay from HELL

Low, old toilet. No hair dryer. No grab bars or non-slip pad in or around step in tub shower. Only toast, apples, granola and almond milk for breakfast. Most rooms up a full flight of stairs. Nothing in this place has been updated on 50 years. Good TV reception and controls. You (don't) get what you (don't) pay for.

The room was dirty, musky and smelled. The blankets on the bed had numerous spills of some sort and just gross. Guest chair looked and smelled like someone sat in it and peed. Hair in the bathtub and on countertops. Staff was friendly and nice - but room condition was horrible. Carpets need professionally cleaned or replaced to get rid of the horrible odor in the room.

Not happy with our stay, room was dirty, mold in bathroom, tub water spout was broken and water leaked (a lot) the whole time. They used a deodorizer to cover up the smell. We checked out early it was just to bad.

The hotel itself seemed nice enough, but the room was just dirty. The towels looked like they had hung up rags, thin and stained. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, and there were crumbs and other garbage in the corners of the room. Also, the wifi was terrible. It would connect for maybe a second then disconnect. Won't be staying here again.

Had to call the front desk while waiting in the lobby to get helped. Sheets were dirty, comforting dirty. The shower had hair on the walls. The shower curtain was filthy dirty. When we called the front desk the lady couldn’t be bothered to take one minute to walk to get them but was missing for five minute at check in.

Want to re-visit the 1960s? Book this Hotel! What a DUMP. There are many other choices nearby – all better than this I feel sure. Booked online and they should be arrested for the misleading images they use. We fell for it – don’t repeat our mistake. Paid DOUBLE what an ancient dump like this should cost. Can get small town Hilton brand properties for about this rate, and earn some HHonors miles. Near empty, and little wonder. Room number was #100C. No idea about interior of other rooms. Strange rules you needed to sign up fro at check in including a $100 free if the simple old school room key was lost or not returned. This is 2023 folks not 1963. Owner has a passion for crazy rules and every door has amateur looking quarto typed notes all over them, and breakfast room has many. Like being back in high school again. Run down exteriors, lobby, and rooms, and surrounds, even down to 10 year old decrepit and disintegrating door mats outside etc. $10 each to replace from Lowes. Re-visiting the 1960s, as that was last time most of it updated am sure. Bed sheets and pillow cases had NOT been newly laundered I will bet. Hairs on both. Bathroom in #100c had a newish bathroom, in fairness, and room had been painted. But old school dated layout. Needs a work desk – plenty of room for that. Large tall WEEDS all around front and back – one a yard high right by front lobby check in door – very lazy owners and staff – takes only 5 minutes to pull those up and add

Holes in sheets, stained sheets, stains on towels, stained carpets, not sure if sheets were even cleaned since last guest. There was liquid/stain spilled/sprayed on ceiling, damage on walls in several places, toilet seat not attached on one side. Will not stay there again.

Property clearly on its last legs. Hardest mattress I’ve ever seen on a bed. Room was clean, linens ok. Towels terrible. Sink would barely drain. Price was lowest in town for a reason. Luckily, all I was seeking was a bed and bathroom. Nice people working there but wouldn’t come back.

Great price and our room was large. Bed was a queen. I prefer a king, but they didn’t have any. No frills, just perfect for a stay over while visiting the area.

The check in lady was very nice and friendly. The gal at the counter the next morning didn’t even respond or make eye contact when we said good morning and turned in our key. We just walked out the door like.. ok.. rude?? Other than that, the room was just fine for one night, needed somewhere to sleep and it was fine.

Everything was good, but the customers service was terrible. The girl in the front door was so rude.

Loved this spot! The purple haired gal working the check in desk was spunky and friendly. We saw her later in the evening and she was setting up the sprinklers. Seems like she was always busy doing something.. but made time to grab me a bag of ice in the middle of her duties. The room was clean and spacious. We woke up late and asked a different woman working if it was ok we check out a little later and she was very kind and let us. Would def stay here again!! A lot of charm here

Staff was very nice and it was great value. This is the second time I have stayed there.

Property was very clean and attention to detail was great. Obviously trouble times but staff was exceptional with what they had to work with. Will stay here again when in the area.

The morning person at the desk was very rude and dismissive we only stayed for two nights and both days she seemed annoyed we were there. When we got to the room I always look through drawers and how clean the room is there was random trash and receipt in the drawers hair in the shower on the walls and the tub. Was very displeased with everything.

The person who checked us in was wonderful! And really appreciated the last minute booking! The next morning though the person at the desk was mad about something I think. Completely ignored us when we said good morning and was throwing stuff around and sighing a bunch. Felt pretty uncomfortable being there! The room was fine, the breakfast selection was just toast but also fine. Overall would say the stay was okay.

Older hotel but clean and friendly service. Great place to sleep not a lot of abviance around the hotel my room looked over gravel parking lot but the price was right for a one night stay. Clean, friendly, breakfast and walkable.

The staff were amazing! We offered suggestions for improvements and they shared their love for the business and efforts to continually improve every guests stay. Our next experience is sure to rate even higher. The motel is within walking distance to everything one might need during a stay. Cle Elum is a cute and clean town surrounded by the beauty of the Cascades. Wowza! We enjoyed our time there!

They shouldn’t advertise about free breakfast…unless all you require is toast. Very noisy hotel. Very thin walls.

The room was run down, the bed lumpy, the breakfast was non existent: individually wrapped pieces of sliced bread, no real coffee and tea bags. No milk, no cereal, no hot food.

Although breakfast was listed and COULD be considered available, coffee was only single-serve Keurig. There was no juice, nothing hot and bare minimum - instant breakfast, hot water, tea, Swiss Miss and apple cider packets. Just 30 miles down the road in Ellensburg was another establishment significantly less expensive with a full hot breakfast.
