Hotel Casa Museo de la Mezquita

No parking, or if there was, we could never find it. Additionally, there was quite a bit of activity/noise in piazza in front of the hotel into the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise, the hotel was perfectly situated for exploring the Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. The staff was helpful and friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was quite good and worth the price.

The location is perfect but the hotel is old but very well maintained. The one thing we didn't like is that it doesn't have an elevator for most of the rooms, and this is something they do not tell you, so if you want to go, check with them first. They do have a few rooms serviced with elevators. We had to help an elderly couple who were checking-in as it was challenging for them to carry their luggage two floors up. The staff is not very friendly but it's ok

Great location but parking situation should have been explained better to avoid frustration & excess driving.

Our room was fun and funky. It was large and comfortable. Beds were a little hard. Breakfast buffet was pretty good for the price. Location fantastic. Off site parking not too convenient. Staff very courteous and helpful. No elevator but luggage assistance was offered. Would recommend.

The hotel is right next to the Mezquita and gives you access to all the main attractions. The lobby and surrounding rooms were tastefully decorated with antiques and artworks. We arrived early in the morning and were able to store our luggage prior to check in. Great value for money.

Die Lage zur Mezquita Mitten in der Altstadt ist ideal. Das Hotel hat meinen Erwartungen erfüllt. Das es eine Gepäckaufbewahrung gibt fand ich gut. In der Nähe gibt es viele Lokale. Der Service der Rezeption war gut, es gab Hilfestellung und gute Tipps. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Es gab Rührei und Obst zum Beispiel. Der Aufzug war etwas beängstigend. Er machte komische Geräusche. Ansonsten kann ich sagen eine einfach und gut Unterkunft für eine Nacht.

Hotel was totally a museum, and extremely well situated. Across the street from the Cathedral. Advertized as having air conditioning but only central. Extremely hot in the room, no window other than onto the breakfast room. Asked for fans and staff said they would look but never followed-up. Not accessible by car, no parking. All public parking close to hotel were full so it’s important to have alternative plans.

Let me start with that finding parking was not easy. However, with a 12 minute walk I saved 20 euros per day. You can also call the property to provide license plate so you can enter the restricted zone for one hour for easier drop off. Once we arrived we realized that the property was also a well maintained museum as a bonus. Great pictures for everyone to take. Anyway, as long as you do not want to sleep in it is the perfect property. Classicly old to be expected, right next to the cathedral, everything walkable, dining options in the area are sublime. Most shocking I must say is that it was sooooo affordable for the location and service. Very great find! Keep it up!

Great location, right in the heart of Córdoba and close to all major attractions. The area is lively, which is fantastic for exploring, but it can be a bit noisy at night with people passing by and talking, so light sleepers might find it challenging to rest. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which isn’t a problem if you’re traveling with a small suitcase. The rooms are clean, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is offered as a convenient buffet, which is a nice start to the day. A charming bonus is hearing the Cathedral bells from the hotel—it adds to the local atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers who want to be in the center of the city and don’t mind a bit of night-time noise.

The hotel is across the street from the Cathedral. However, the room was dirty and the sink was backed up. Price you pay to be right in the middle of Cordoba....

The property is really well located and that communal areas of the property have lots of character. As many said the room has an odd smell. Like a chemical foist. The rooms are also very basic. Overall the hotel was ok for the price but how it’s so highly rate is beyond me

We had ants in our beds. The toilet was dirty. Besides that, there was nothing wrong. It just wasnt warm or friendly. I wish i had picked a different hotel with a plant filled patio to take a break from the heat.

The hotel was in an excellent location, the room was very clean, and excellent value for money.

L’emplacement est parfait par contre, les lits étaient très durs, draps usés et déchirés, salle de bain avec de la moisissures. Oreiller très mince. J’ai demandé une oreiller supplémentaire mais on a refusé. Je n’ai pas du tout aimé cet endroit. Ne vous laissez pas influencer par l’emplacement. Ca ne vaut pas le coup. Je ne recommande cet hôtel. C’est rare que je donne une note aussi basse.

Lovely, quirky, comfortable hotel. Close to main sights, cafes, bars and restaurants. However, there were negatives. No soundproofing in rooms so rather noisy if people were using bathroom and walking around their room with shoes on. Our room was facing onto street. Be mindful and aware…very, very noisy all night long from passers by. This continued at least up to 4:30am.

The location was excellent however there wasn’t an elevator the air conditioning was poor.. no usb plugs and no coffee machine in room.

Location was great, staff friendly, rooms and hallways clean, however my room was tiny with not enough room to open my luggage completely. The view was not good. And also accessibility was poor. The elevator had no stop on my floor.

Awesome location, just outside Mezquita gate. Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Great AC; quietest I have been around in a hotel. Shower was a little quirky and in a bathtub, but worked. Didn't do breakfast here because it didn't work for our schedule. No in room or in hotel coffee, so had to go to Starbucks which opens at 0700.

If you want to be in the middle of the action day and night-this is your hotel! The main thing going for this hotel is its location-right next to the mezquita. If you are lucky or unlucky to have a room where you gaze upon it from your window you will share the excitement of every single person who yells, talks, laughs, poses, mingles, and every other human interaction that occurs mere feet from where you sleep. It is loud. Very loud. There is also music, which apparently by law must end at midnight. I didn’t time this but it went past when I would have preferred some quiet to go to sleep. The target clientele at this hotel is probably not me and my husband. We are mid 60’s, well-travelled, and while not exactly prime specimens of physical fitness, we can manage our luggage and walk without embarrassing ourselves. Several reviews have mentioned that this hotel does not have an elevator. This is not exactly true. There is an elevator. It was operational. However it goes only to a number of rooms at the top of the hotel. Our room, on the second floor was not served by this elevator. However, it would have been far easier to take the elevator up to the higher floor and walk down the significantly fewer stairs than to struggle up the many more steps with our backpacks and rollaboards to get to our room. Location, location, location. Right across a narrow street from the entrance to the Mezquita. The whole of old Cordoba is walkable, but there was a good selection of restaurants within a short stroll. Parking is an 8 minute walk away, but a taxi can take your luggage. Our room was an interior one — no windows, but quiet.

Maar … een standaard 2 persoons kamer is in feite een eenpersoons kamer met een dubbel bed; links en rechts van het bed is er nog 40 cm plaats; juist gepast om uit het bed te stappen. Er is geen plaats voor een stoel, tafel, bagage rek enz . Dus erg krap voor 2 personen. De foto’s op de site kloppen niet met de werkelijkheid, wat erg misleidend is. Bij het ontbijt is er 1 koffiemachine dat erg traag werkt, en dat voor de ganse eetzaal: file voor een koffie.

This is my favorite stay in Córdoba. Staff is superb and attentive, knowledgeable about the area, specially how to get in and out during active tourist moments. The rooms are superbly decorated, well kept and clean. It's in the perfect location to walk every sight in Córdoba.

Basically a 2 star hotel. Among several hotels that communicated with me, this was the only one that didn’t. Unhelpful regarding information for laundry service (none), and hospitality recommendations did not exist. Great location. Meh hotel.

Hotel was a cute historical boutique, loved it. Cleaning staff were sweet, front desk staff were cold, check-in was not welcoming at all which was disappointing and bit awkward. Hotel is in a convenient location and can walk to pretty much everything nearby in the old city.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel. It's very central to the old town and right next to the Cathedral Mosque. The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very unique and beautiful boutique hotel! It was like staying in a museum! We really enjoyed staying there. We had a spacious room with excellent air conditioning. The staff is excellent and helpful. It is in the best location right next to the Mezquita Cathedral, restaurants, bars and shopping.

The concierge were curt and unhelpful. We had water and a hot pot in our room, our friends did not. When they asked for same concierge told them we shouldn’t have them in our room! The breakfast was terrible; coffe in half broken machine; “ hot” water for tea, tepid. Again, v unfriendly almost rude breakfast hostess.

The proximity to La Mezquita

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. Check-in was quick and smooth. The location is ideal. It’s within walking distance to key attractions and restaurants.

The location is right across from the cathedral, making it right in the heart of the beautiful downtown area with lots of shopping and dining options. We had a 15 minute walk from where we parked to get there, but the easy accessibility to everything else was very worth it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds are fine, but not luxurious. We only stayed one night and there was no hot water during the evening, but they got it fixed and a warm shower was on tap for the morning. Given the fact it was in the heart of the tourist area, it was surprisingly quiet. We will gladly stay there again upon a return trip to Cordoba.

This is one of the best places to stay in Cordoba. Excellent access to all the historical sites. Fantastic restaurants in the area as well as shopping. Do venture out and experience all Córdoba has to offer. It is a very convenient spot and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. There will be crowds all the time because la Mezquita is literally across the street. So if you love the hustle and bustle, historical sites, shopping, dining of great food, this is the place to stay.

Wonderful hotel. Enjoyed the location, view of the Mezquita outside our window and the breakfast was very good.

Don't be put off by the two-star rating this hotel is great and worth at least another star! lots of quirky antiques and paintings in the corridors. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and had lots of storage space. The bathroom was well appointed and the freebie bag came complete with a razor and shaving cream, toothbrushes and tooth paste as well as the normal soap and shampoo. The breakfast was excellent value.

This is a beautiful small hotel right at the entrance to the Mosque/Cathedral. We loved the museum-like decorations but the room was nice, too, especially considering the age of the building. We decided for the buffet breakfast but as mentioned by others there is room for improvement with small changes like offering fresh instead of days old bread.

Gammalt hotell med bra läge i Cordoba. Lyhört som det brukar. Frukost kostade extra 12€ och var inte värt sitt pris. Torftig och litet urval. Torrt bröd. Bättre att ta frukost på stan.

Hotel muito charmoso com um pátio agradável e as suas próprias peças de museu. Para entrar na Catedral Mezquita é só atravessar a rua. Fomos muito bem atendidos. Quarto pequeno mas era esperado. No entanto, o banheiro é bem espaçoso. Muito silencioso o nosso quarto para dormir com janela para o pátio interno onde tomamos o café da manhã que é muito bom.

Inmejorable ubicación, justo enfrente de la mezquita. Diferente hotel museo, peculiar . La única pega el desayuno .. desastroso y caro para lo que ofrecen pero hay cantidad de sitios cercanos donde poder desayunar .
