GANGA KINARE- A Riverside Boutique Resort, Rishikesh

We had an amazing stay at this resort and would highly recommend it. The property is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the staff made us feel welcome every single day. The food was great, and the wellness centre was lovely with lots of wonderful options. A special thank you to Kusum, Sita, Soban, and Anoop at reception, Himani in housekeeping, Vikas, Shashi, Sumer, and Saurabh in the dining room, and Sunita at the wellness centre. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and it was a pleasure seeing them each day. The location is also incredible. The views of the Ganga and the surrounding mountains are absolutely beautiful, especially during meals. We loved every day of our stay and are so grateful to the whole team for making it such a memorable experience.

Front fesk was professional andvery helpful. Sumer in the restaurant wasexcellent and took care of your every need. The breakfast had very good variety anf flavorful food. The hotel staff overall was very friendly. I would recommend the Gadwal thali. Also try Varr Temple thali at their sister hotel Holy Water.

Room was not properly cleaned when I got into it and then housekeeping never came for two days until I went to front desk to complain despite them saying they come every day at 5 pm. The hotel was very noisy The restaurant had good food bu The staff was very variable The doa treatments were rudimentary given all the Ayurveda in India The location was far from the main beautiful sites in Rishikesh and not in a walkable area

Room cleanliness, courteous staff, great location and food

I stayed for two nights at Ganga Kinare before joining a yoga and meditation retreat. The property has a beautiful location and lovely views of the Ganges, which is definitely its biggest highlight. The food was decent and most of the staff were polite and helpful. However, overall the experience felt quite mediocre and did not match a 4- or 5-star standard. The front desk felt very transactional, especially when it came to arranging taxis and services, which often felt overpriced. As someone who has stayed in many luxury hotels, the overall experience didn’t feel truly premium. A pleasant stay for the views and location, but not a luxury hotel experience.
