Phangan Beach Resort

No respetaron la cancelación de vuelo y la imposibilidad de llegar al hotel. Mal.

El wifi no funcionaba. Ningún amenitie en la habitación, ni agua de cortesía, ni jabón de manos, habitación enana, baño horrible. Una noche llovió mucho y entraba agua por la puerta de la habitación. Quisimos hacer una lavadora, en teoría tardaba 60’ y tardó el triple. Salió la ropa empapada y no pudimos secarla. Personal de recepción ayuda lo mínimo.

I've stayed at hundreds of places over the years and Phangan Beach Resort is in my top five. Bungalows on the beach in Thailand, no crowd (off season, and luckily no rain), beach bar with great food and prices, very nice staff and owners (Mark and Toby), just a beautiful setting and vibe. Quiet and peaceful. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff there.

Bodde i deluxe bungalow på stranden, og beliggenheten kunne ikke vært bedre. Selve bungalowen har ganske enkel standard (Typisk thailandsk bungalow) men sengen var god. Sov godt her. Resorten er nydelig beplantet og vedlikeholdt, med masse fine blomster og grønne planter. Den private stranden gir roen vi søker etter på ferie, og maten i restauranten smakte utmerket.Virkelig et sted å finne roen, samtidig som du finner mange spisesteder og butikker en kort spasertur unna. Vi kommer til å besøke dette stedet igjen.

The room was small but nice enough. The bathroom was very difficult to use as the shower soaks the whole bathroom when in use. The bathroom also had a colony of flying bugs which was not pleasant. There was no handsoap in the bathroom meaning we had to buy some. Lovely relaxing beach area with a bar that serves food and drink. Friendly staff but service quite slow. The hotel is quite far out of the centre and if you want to use a taxi for two people it is 400 bhat each way, this is not something that we factored into our budget. Overall the stay was ok.
