Love the location of this hostel and the friendly atmosphere. The 24/7 reception is a huge plus for early checkout and late check-ins

Loved my stay here! Reception and service staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations on what to see/do. They also hosted free walking tours and bar crawls with surrounding hostels. In the hostel itself, there are lots of communal spaces but also secluded areas to work/study. Would highly recommend!

Oh I lovvveeed staying here. Very neat, within the city, walking distance to everywhere, luggage room after checking out. The list goes on.. would highly recommend.

It had an own bar with nice and lively facilities. Always someone around to ask questions if need be. Good price close to the beach and center. Only thing I didn’t appreciate was the breakfast that was very shy and that you also needed to was your own dishes after that, but apart from that very good hostel.

We enjoyed talking to people from all over the world. 24 hour reception was great. Our flight delayed and we got to here at midnight but our room was there, it was easy check in. Kind service made us feel so welcomed. There is a cleaning staff who works all day always cleaning. They keep this place really clean. We booked a private room so bath towels were included. They didn't charged us anything and we didn't need to pay for a deposit for the keys either. As you see our room was updated and clean, pretty spacious room and a good size bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Three microwave ovens. I didn't see an oven toaster or a toaster. But it has an full size oven. The breakfast looked good. We had own breakfast so we didn't try theirs but all looked pretty good. This place is next to the bus stops and the tram stop.

Stayed in a private room, very clean. Nice shared dining area with kitchen. Cute seating area as shown in pictures. Clothes washing facilities were by staff only and cost €15. Had noisy construction outside when we stayed and could hear lots of door slamming. Overall really nice place

Es un alojamiento barato y muy bien ubicado. Muy deficiente la limpieza

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in! Dirty towels and very unfresh bedsheets. Paperthin walls, you can hear everything from the hallway. Very poor breakfast and you have to clean your utensils yourself. Only good thing was the location. The staff was very rude and didn't care about their guests whatsoever.

The cleanliness of the ensuite bathrooms could be improved. As there is no ventilation in the bathrooms it was very humid after the shower.

Located in the city centre, easily accesible to beach and other commercial shops, but dirty and nasty bed ruined my sleep. Not recommended. Go to hotel.

Beautiful hostel, rooms are clean, bar is ok, lots of outlets, great localization near the beach. Didn't love the cleaness in the underground floor bathrooms.

Små, men pæne værelser. Lidt nusset. Alt for bløde madrasser. 7 spots der tænder automatisk på badeværelset også om natten. Ok morgenmad, der var hvad man havde brug for, men lidt kedeligt toastbrød fra pose. Skønne fællesarealer. Skøn beliggenhed og sødt personale.

Had a fantastic stay in a clean and spacious hostel which is close to all amenitiies, services and transport links. The reception are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast 7 euros buffet but you can store your own in the fridge/lockers

Had a private room which was located at a different entrance that required a key card to be unlocked which felt secure. The room looked great with a great AC, however the noice from people walking by in the corridor was really loud, almost as if they were in the room. Furthermore the window had no view (adding a picture) and we had no hand towel or towel to stand on after the shower. The breakfast was decent. Was overall expecting a bit more for the price, but at the same time I didn’t take advantage of all the facilities that they had which probably is the strongest side to the hostel.

Lets start with the positives, the area is great. And the soundproofing within the hostel is good. Thats about it. I travel a lot, i stay in everything from hostels to fancy hotels. This is somewhere I'd never return to. I get it, F1 weekend, everywhere is sold out. However, when you book a 4 bed room, there should only be 4 beds in there - not 5. Communication with staff shocking, no one knew anything and the managers offer of a free crappy breakfast for 1 day when I have Nice on the doorstep is unacceptable customer service. A refund for at least one night would be the least I would expect. You are overselling a product - and not a very good one. I have stayed in a lot of hostels all over the world. The quality of this one is one of the worst. Rickety metal frame beds, no privacy cutains etc. No individual lights. 4 broken and busted up lockers - for 5 people I hasten to add. The photos do not represent what this place is selling. I don't think I've ever left such a negative review of a place. Such a shame as it could be so much better. Like I say, the location was excellent.

Thanks for my 7 day visit, overall very satisfied, special star to cleaning guy, he seemed to always be around cleaning:) and did it very well! One thing I would like to wish for is a small shelf on the wall by the bed, to put phone etc on! Also some kind of "curtain" to be more private would have been ezcellent! I put up my towel, it worked but not optimal. All the best, I´ll be back in July

Chambre sommaire, pas de TV, pas de savon dans la douche, et surtout climatisation très bruyante, sans compter le bruit extérieur. C'est plus une auberge de jeunesse qu'un hôtel.

I booked a ‘One Bed in a Coed Dorm Room 5 beds’ at Villa Saint Exupéry Beach Hostel but the hostel gave me a three bunk bed (six people) room. The picture of the room I booked on Hotels.com was two bunk bed (four people) plus one single bed (one person), so it was a room used by a total of five people. I asked the hostel to change it to the room which I initially reserved but the hostel told me, "the room had been given to someone else" and they told me to complain to Hotels.com I do not condone this breach of the hostel’s contract because the room used by 5 people and the room used by 6 people are different in size and rates. I have made a reservation through Hotels.com one month before I arrived at the hostel but the hostel gave the room to someone else for higher rates. So this hostel is making money is a dishonest way and misleading customers They did not even apologize to me for breaking the contract and they were very rude to me. Therefore, I looked for other hostels but they were all full and it was in the middle of the night, so I could not move to another hostel. I traval around the world every month so I have a lot of experience staying at different location and hostels/hotels However this is the first time I have come across a hostel/hotel which is just dishonest. If the hostel does not sort out this issue properly for their breach of contract then I will report them to the department of Nice, France.

TLDR: As a single female traveller, I did not feel safe staying at this hostel, even in a private room. Pros: comfy bed, spacious and updated bathroom Cons: security and cleanliness My first night I was woken up by someone trying to get into my room. When they heard me moving inside they tried harder, to the point where I was holding the door in case the lock broke. The secondary physical lock was broken on my door, and when I asked the front desk they said that is the case for most rooms. I could not call the hotel as I only had wifi and no phone in the room. I stayed quiet for 2 hours waiting for someone else to leave their room. I am not sure what this person was trying to do, but regardless I did not trust the lock in the door to hold if someone really tried to break it. They have 24/7 security but that doesn’t help much when the private rooms are in a separate building from the main hostel and you can’t contact them. I checked out first thing in the morning and was told I was not able to get a refund for the remainder of my stay because it was through Expedia. Front desk staff were nice enough but I did not feel comfortable moving to another room after experiencing the security measures in place. I would not recommend this hotel for single travelers.

Rooms have no towels in them so you are provided with them before getting into your room. We were not given the vouchers for the breakfast at the moment of the check in. We were asked by them in the middle of the breakfast when we did n not even know we had to have them at hand… Quite embarrassing… the ladies at the front desk are not the best ones in terms of customer oriented personnel… breakfast was ok. Private rooms should be equipped with TV screens…no soap in the bathroom (quite bad). I would not recommend this hotel…

The lounging area is pretty nice at first glance but they need new bedding and sofas because they are tearing, old, and dirty. I was talking to one of the girls at the desk about the wifi going out and another white worker jumped in and rudely told me it would take about 2/3 business days to fix. I said well we should get compensation because I paid good money for my room and to not have wifi is an inconvenience. She said there’s nothing we can do about that. I talked to the manager who visits on site and he was able to get it fixed by the end of the night so what was her problem? They dont provide towels on the floor after you shower which is a hazard because people walk around with wet shoes after they shower. There was a bad smell on one of the beds above me for 2 nights. I think someone complained and they switched the beds. They arent doing well to upkeep the facility, yet they are expensive to stay at. Its only convenient if you want to be right near the beach. They need to work on making their workers happier so they arent taking out their frustration on the people staying at the hostel. Every time you ask a question its like youre interrupting the worker. If there was another close hostel Id stay there but theres not many options.

We had a great experience my daughter and I ...upon checkin to check out... the staff at checkin was so accomadating because when we booked thinking we were in the same room but wasn't and she made it possible which made my daughter stay 100 percent better :) The location is amazing, shops, dining, the walk to the beach in 5 mins away , transportation... is just an amazing location for everything.... we stayed for three days and it was cleaned everyday... the breakfast was good overall we would stay again when if in Nice...

Great place to stay, brilliant location just 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Promenade and from the Old town. Staff really friendly and helpful.

My stay at the Villa Exupery Hostel was rather nice, the staff was friendly (especially thanks to Sol) and with accommodations that would suit any backpacker or traveller!!

Rapide, pas eu de problèmes à trouver, en plus très bien situé en plein centre-ville.

L'hôtel est placé centre de Nice, tout est à côté, hypermarché et tramway. On est à 500 mètres de la promenade des anglais. C'est le top

Soggiorno perfetto, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, posizione eccezionale, il resto un po' spartano ma del resto ci tornavamo solo a dormire. Pulizia buona, superiore alle nostre aspettative per la Francia.

Emplacement parfait en plein cœur de Nice (à 1 minute de la Place Masséna). L'insonorisation n'est pas optimale, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir et la chambre d'à côté. Attention, les serviettes et les savons / shampoings ne sont pas fournis gratuitement, même si vous êtes dans une chambre individuelle. Prévoyez aussi une caution de 3 € en espèces pour la clé de votre chambre.

Hostel was great. I thought there would be more breakfast options but just toast and cereal for most of the part. But the cereal was good. Staff was nice. Rooms were also pretty clean.

Nice hostel. Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast buffet was good. It would have been nice if they could have empty the garbage in the room daily without being asked. No room cleaning service over 4 days.
