Our room was good, except for it being very dark. You could hear people talking and using bathroom in room next to us. Walls must be very thin. Gardens could do with a good going over with a blower, pool area not welcoming at all. Pool was clean just around it put you off.

$25 per person breakfast is a bit expensive. Worst Internet in years! Tiny bathroom with the shower pan sticking out as a tripping hazard. If you like your busses, ask for room 3. A great deal of time they were idling outside of our room. Plenty of loud people, bus fumes and engine noise.

Comfortable but to be honest this place is really a motel. Shower was not the cleanest, nor were the bins. Also no freezer compartment inside the fridge. Reception should have told us when we checked in about hiring golf clubs for the mini golf (there was no mention on the sheet she gave us). Was only allowed 30mins extension to check out.

I have stayed here before when it was called Motel Australis. Even back then, it was very dated. However, it was clean and I never noticed any structural issues with the building or doors. This time I noticed a weather crack in the timber door and I was easily able to look straight through the crack from both sides, which led me to believe that it was a security issue for people who were untoward. And the Wi-Fi service was next to non-existent, and when it was reported. There was no interest in what we had to say when we checked out. So I would hope things improve because we wouldn't mind staying there again if things improve.

Setting was peaceful bush, birds attractive gardens.Little bush animals were seen scurrying in the foliage. pool in a quiet spot surrounded by garden.rooms were large and comfortable with an outside entrance and passage doors.cool verandahs plenty of room and pricey. best thing was the room in the middle of each area for doing cooking with tables and chairs. BBQ's outside also.Just a lovely relaxed accommodation.Restaurant also good.

Rooms are clean , nice and close to town , only thing I wasn’t happy with is we had 3 nights , the 2 mornings, beds weren’t made , or toiletry supplies wernt topped up ! Toilet was cleaned and fresh towels were given !

Confusion over breakfast .was told I had breakfast included when it wasn't even after I queried it. Shower was full of body hair. Yuk!

It was a nice size room and had all the required facilities. I did not like a couple of things. First, we paid $50 for buffet breakfast, but the food was stale and or not fresh. The bread before even putting it in the toaster, was a bit hard. The bacon tasted like it was cooked the day before. The egg was still gooey. It was not the money worth. Second, the cushions was totally horrible. They were over sized and big! we slept on our sons blanket as it was more confortable. There was also some red and brown stains on the sheets.

Extremely helpful polite and knowledgeable reception staff. Small rooms, comfortable bed. Dirty shower and toilet bowl. Large mirror above bed was covered in dust and had to clean ourselves. Asked for shower to be re cleaned. Spray bottle of bleach left on the basin unscrewed and shower still no improvement. Not good if travelling with kids. Dining was lovely. Food was very good. Came back to the room to find a dozen kids on scooters in the pool and sitting on the chairs in front of the rooms. Not even sure if they were staying there. Eventually moved on but said they were coming back.

Greeted by warm friendly hosts who advised us really well on getting around area- our first time. Rooms are aging but they were large, clean and there was never any hassle. Washed our clothes for couple dollars . Only 3 min drive to main road and 8 mins to beaches.

Lovely 3 day break to reset before I meet the family for a major event back in the city. Rooms a little tired but the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant has no atmosphere at all and the menu is limited. You can walk into town easily as there’s a footpath most of the way. The site is very open and the rooms, which are all in separate blocks to the Reception & bar, open onto a corridor and the verandah. This means they can be a little noisy & doesn't feel very secure.

Their room service is not room service- you have to pick up the meal from the restaurant. I was not told this when I enquired about room service when I checked in. There was no vegan options at all except for salad, chips and steamed vege. Only one vegetarian option. Bit ordinary in this day and age!

We were delighted with our accommodation with a free upgrade and a celebration bottle of wine. The manageress Linda was amazing and our check in with with Ashleigh was very efficient. The dining room was lovely and the food excellent. We would highly recommend the Stay Hotel.

I have stayed here before when it was called Motel Australis. Even back then, it was very dated. However, it was clean and I never noticed any structural issues with the building or doors. This time I noticed a weather crack in the timber door and I was easily able to look straight through the crack from both sides, which led me to believe that it was a security issue for people who were untoward. And the Wi-Fi service was next to non-existent, and when it was reported. There was no interest in what we had to say when we checked out. So I would hope things improve because we wouldn't mind staying there again if things improve.

I always enjoy staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its lovely and quiet but close to all amenities. Love the fact, I can walk to the restaurant and I had the best Tasmanian Salman there.

Lovely 3 day break to reset before I meet the family for a major event back in the city. Rooms a little tired but the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant has no atmosphere at all and the menu is limited. You can walk into town easily as there’s a footpath most of the way. The site is very open and the rooms, which are all in separate blocks to the Reception & bar, open onto a corridor and the verandah. This means they can be a little noisy & doesn't feel very secure.

It was a nice size room and had all the required facilities. I did not like a couple of things. First, we paid $50 for buffet breakfast, but the food was stale and or not fresh. The bread before even putting it in the toaster, was a bit hard. The bacon tasted like it was cooked the day before. The egg was still gooey. It was not the money worth. Second, the cushions was totally horrible. They were over sized and big! we slept on our sons blanket as it was more confortable. There was also some red and brown stains on the sheets.

Their room service is not room service- you have to pick up the meal from the restaurant. I was not told this when I enquired about room service when I checked in. There was no vegan options at all except for salad, chips and steamed vege. Only one vegetarian option. Bit ordinary in this day and age!

Extremely helpful polite and knowledgeable reception staff. Small rooms, comfortable bed. Dirty shower and toilet bowl. Large mirror above bed was covered in dust and had to clean ourselves. Asked for shower to be re cleaned. Spray bottle of bleach left on the basin unscrewed and shower still no improvement. Not good if travelling with kids. Dining was lovely. Food was very good. Came back to the room to find a dozen kids on scooters in the pool and sitting on the chairs in front of the rooms. Not even sure if they were staying there. Eventually moved on but said they were coming back.

We were delighted with our accommodation with a free upgrade and a celebration bottle of wine. The manageress Linda was amazing and our check in with with Ashleigh was very efficient. The dining room was lovely and the food excellent. We would highly recommend the Stay Hotel.
