If you’re older and can’t do a lot of steps there isn’t an elevator. Stairs are scary and circular. Do first floor only.

We really enjoyed our stay! Super friendly staff, especially Jody at the reception. Loved the front porch for reading and the pool was perfect for a cool down after the beach. Beautiful location overlooking the lake and easy to walk to the beach or into the town.

This Hotel located two blocks from the ocean is beautiful, welcoming and very comfortable. Large victorian porch with rocking chairs. I only stayed one night but had a beautiful room with TV, fridge, free WiFi and toiletries with a very large modern bathroom with a tub. I also had a complimentary Continental breakfast (hard boiled eggs, yogurts, bagels, juice, fresh fruit, coffee, teas, muffins, pound cakes, cereals, etc.). Toaster onsite.No elevator, but I didn't have a problem getting up the stairs to the 3rd floor with a view of the lovely heated pool. Parking onsite. Everything was perfect. Lovely Desk Staff. Would stay there again.

The staff has been friendly and helpful, although not over informed. Our suite was on the third floor and there are no elevators and no one to assist you with your luggage. Just an FYI. The breakfast spread is slightly above what you might find at Motel 6. So don’t necessarily look forward to that. on the boardwalk a few blocks south there is a place to get breakfast on the beach. That’s where I would go. The accommodations are very nice and an old style hotel. It has a nice veranda to sit and relax on and it’s in a good location. Overall, it’s a nice property.

The staff has been friendly and helpful, although not over informed. Our suite was on the third floor and there are no elevators and no one to assist you with your luggage. Just an FYI. The breakfast spread is slightly above what you might find at Motel 6. So don’t necessarily look forward to that. on the boardwalk a few blocks south there is a place to get breakfast on the beach. That’s where I would go. The accommodations are very nice and an old style hotel. It has a nice veranda to sit and relax on and it’s in a good location. Overall, it’s a nice property.

Amazingly beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet, charming, staff is second to none, the rooms were very comfortable, bed was a dream come true as I slept very comfortably. The place reeks a unique time and historical charm. The winding stairs to the third floor made me think of old black and white movies, but in color and how bright and airy it is. Love how the breakfast lounge is equipped and breakfast items were many to make choices from. There is a vending machine and microwave available. The area is incredibly beautifully and picturesque. Take your time to truly enjoy its beauty and I cannot forget the amazingly helpful and courteously efficient staff. Jodie helped with my arrangements and made my stay so much more personal and I felt peaceful and safe. Steve, greeted us when we arrived and well, I dont want to leave, but I will definitely be back with my husband, hes got to experience this place too. ❤️

This property is outdated and overpriced and I would not recommend. Our room had crooked curtains and an awkward layout. Things are breaking, the front door color is washed away, there’s poor outdoor decor. The breakfast is like a cheap motel breakfast. There is no gym. Even the front desk employees agreed with the many complaints. Each room is individually owned and therefore no standards apply universally. No elevator. Nice location.

The hotel was clean and pleasant. The young man who checked me in was very nice and helpful. The only issue was a small leak from the bathroom sink. Also having a small refrigerator in the room would be nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this hotel. 👌

We liked the property and room but there was a problem with the electricity. We had no power in our bathroom, which was eventually diagnosed to be a tripped breaker due to a short in the bathroom light fixture. They removed the bulb but said wouldn’t be able to fix until next day after we checked out. If not for this probably would have given 5 stars.

The staff was very friendly and the location was great! The hotel itself was very dated and our room’s furnishings were shabby. It was comfortable though and reasonably priced. We could hear neighboring guests in a nearby room quite clearly. Although I loved the area, I would not stay there again. The room we were in did not get a lot of sunlight adding to the lack of ambience.

Love this hotel! The room was beautiful, the hotel itself was beautiful, the staff were warm, friendly, welcoming, and bent over backwards to make our stay a wonderful experience. There is a beautiful lake right across from the hotel you can walk around or sit and relax and enjoy. I HIGHLY recommend them!

We liked the property’s proximity to the beach/boardwalk and the downtown area as well as its convenience to the Spring Lake train station and links to highways. We only wished the weather was better during our stay!

This Hotel located two blocks from the ocean is beautiful, welcoming and very comfortable. Large victorian porch with rocking chairs. I only stayed one night but had a beautiful room with TV, fridge, free WiFi and toiletries with a very large modern bathroom with a tub. I also had a complimentary Continental breakfast (hard boiled eggs, yogurts, bagels, juice, fresh fruit, coffee, teas, muffins, pound cakes, cereals, etc.). Toaster onsite.No elevator, but I didn't have a problem getting up the stairs to the 3rd floor with a view of the lovely heated pool. Parking onsite. Everything was perfect. Lovely Desk Staff. Would stay there again.

We stayed here off-season. The place was very clean and comfortable, in a very nice location, one block from the beach and boardwalk. We had a very nice stay, and we will return during peak-season as well.

It was really nice. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I had not thought to stay here in the past but this hotel will now be at the top of my list. Very nice continental breakfast included.

Wonderful location, very pretty property, lots of cool nooks and cranies. The only negative is the 'continental brakfast'. C9ffee was good but it would have been nice to add some regular yogurts(the only ones they had had 20mg sugar) and unsweetened oatmeal. Not big deal, probably its due to the off season. Plenty of lovely coffee places in the town center 5 min away.

Great 2 night stay. Room was spacious and updated, bed was comfy and the bathroom was a great size. Not much of a breakfast was offered, was a little disappointing but still a great stay at an affordable price.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you will need. We stayed for long weekend and had a wonderful time. Walking distance to the beach and walking distance to Main Street. The Restaurant right at the hotel (Whispers) the best in our opinion, great food and service. Will be back next year! Amazing time!

We recently stayed at The Property for the first time , and we were very pleased with our room comfort & the entire staff . The management was very accommodating. I always wanted to stay overnight , as we have had dinner at Wispers restaurant on the property, which is always wonderful. It is a lovely Historic Hotel , facing Spring Lake . We look forward to our next visit soon. MLB

Beautiful vintage hotel, with a B&B feel. Wonderful restaurant with fresh, delicious seafood specials. Right next to the lake for a leisurely stroll after dinner, then capped off with some quality time in rocking chairs on the huge wrap around porch. Make sure you ask about room location. There is no elevator.

Upon arrival, I was switched rooms from the one I booked. While this was technically an upgrade, I was put on the first floor directly next to the pool. As a solo female traveler, having an additional, less secure exit made me a bit wary. I also didn’t love that the bedroom window looked at the pool. I had to keep the blinds drawn. That said, the room was bigger than what I’d booked and I got a king bed instead of a queen. Halfway through my trip, my AC quit. It was during a heat wave, and their system couldn’t quite handle it. I didn’t try to crank the AC super low. I never touched it from where they’d set it. I was so impressed by the response from the employees. They immediately put in a window unit! They were all so kind.

Just returned from long weekend at the HW. The experience was worth the long wait on my part. As a former New Yorker, Spring Lake is a dream come true on my bucket list. I hope to return again in 2026.
