Sea Garden Inn Pismo Beach- San Luis Obispo

Uncomfortable beds. Rotating fan in room very dirty. Parking lot way too small.

We love the beach, and this hotel is at the perfect location, close to the pier, walking distance, we like that they dont charge for parking, and if you are early, you can park without any issues. Rooms are cozy and clean, service is efficient and pleasant, this is definitely our spot,

I liked the fact that it was walking distance from the beach. Near restaurants and cafes. Plenty of parking.

It is a little difficult parking large cars, because it's narrow space parking lot

Our room was ready early and was recently remodeled. Easy check in and the front desk people were really nice. I love the location. It was easy to walk down to the beach and was closer to everything. Easy parking too. We'll stay here again!

Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. Parking in front of rooms was nice to unload and load. Bed is small good thing we are average size couple;) it is very close to Main Street witch was nice too! I would definitely recommend for a quick get away.

Location was great. On site parking was convenient. Room was very small and crowded. Bed not very comfortable. No air conditioning but room was supplied with a fan.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Several issues. 1) First 5 min of arriving there, the owner told me there was only 1 vehicle allowed in the parking lot (since I had two) and already threatened me to say, "the tow trucks will be called to get the other vehicle." Mind you, my party and I just got there and was told this within 5min of checking in. 2) We parked our vehicle A in their parking lot and walked down to the beach. We came back later that night to find our car had been damaged by the car parked on our left side (in their parking lot). There were witnesses involved who reported the incident to the owners. The next day, we spoke to the owners. When asked if the owner was able to help give us more information, the female owner avoided my question and started saying, "In my 1 year and half working here, I have not seen any problems..." my wife asked her again and she said they do not have cameras and do not have any information on the person who hit our vehicle. Which would be a lie since anyone who stays there is to provide them with their license plate #. She continued to withhold information from us. Finding that she is not helpful, we walked out. 3) They claimed we were throwing water out of the tub which is causing water to leak down to their ceiling in the lower room. This is a lie, they do not have bathtubs, it’s a shower and there was no water being thrown out of the tub.

Room was small but impeccably clean and comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend this quaint place. Will stay here again!

Very clean, appears to be recently refurbished. Super convenient location—we never needed to use our car the whole weekend. It is a modest, slightly older property with fridge, microwave, hairdryer. No AC, but at the beach you don’t really need it. We’ll be back!

Everything This place overall was very dirty. We had to ask the to remix and it still didn’t clean it. Towels & blankets were stained. There were cigarette burn marks on the blanket when it’s a no smoking place. There was no AC WITH NO air circulation. They actually sealed off one of our windows because they were painting and didn’t tell us til that exact moment. Then I had to clean the fan myself because it was so full of dirt & dust. This is just some of the stuff

The sheets were not particularly clean and there were dead flies all over the bathroom window sill. Also - hotels should have curtains - wood slats don’t provide good privacy or block the outside light well.

Bed was very uncomfortable, floors were sticky, towels were brown and dingy, and the walls are paper thin.

The sheets were full of dog hairs and stuff.

The room was perfectly clean. The bathroom was perfectly clean. Looked just like the picture on the website. It was definitely upgraded recently, there was still a sticker on the new granite countertop. There was no problem with our room whatsoever. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but our room was perfect, and I would stay here again. Room 210 upstairs was perfect. I would add that there is no AC or heat in the room, but I did know that ahead of time and brought extra thick PJs for the night. The room had a microwave and a nice new fridge. I will add that we could hear the neighbors next door. But they quieted down by bedtime.

The room smelled like someone had thrown up in there when we walked in then we found vomit all over the bathroom that looked like someone had quickly just mopped and smeared it around into the corners. There was no AC in the room and it was insanely hot all night. The beds are hard with flat pillows. All around the stay was terrible. Don’t waste your money

Small rooms, floor was dirty, hair on towels and bed sheets and pillow. Not sure if they had been changed.

Room is smaller than photo's and no AC so the room is hot

very small room, the photo of the room was with a lens that made it appear larger than it actually was. Very tight and small.

Our room had a section of the floor that dipped and made the bed uneven and, this, uncomfortable, especially for the person nearest the bathroom. Everything else was wonderful!

It was quiet and quaint but the room had no air conditioning and it was stuffy and hot when I got in there. There was a noisy old box fan that was much needed but it impacted my sleep. The mattress was stiff and so were the pillows. Too bad because it had an old school motel feel to it that I liked.

It is an affordable way to stay in the downtown Pismo area walking to most everything. Nothing fancy and room is very small, but fine for us mostly exploring around and just there to sleep and easy location to go back to change clothes in room from day to night. Everything in room was clean, had a mini fridge, microwave, new keurig, and outside ice machine near the office.

It is a small older property however everything had recently been updated. The room was spacious and clean. It was walking distance to the beach to restaurants and shops. Parking was free. My stay was very comfortable.

Very basic, very noisy from people next door and above. Beds had noisy metal frames.

We had a great stay at the Sea Garden. Lovely owners. We had one concern that was dealt with quickly. Such a value!! Clean quiet room. Right in town. Walked everywhere. We will stay here again.

Staff was very pleasant and friendly

The room does not have a hearter. or extra blankets . one thin blanket on the bed. It is January 17 at it is 40 degrees. At 3 am I could not take it any longer. Has to call for blankets and heater. Got yelled at by the owners. Was told it was my fault for wanting a downstairs room. Wife also blamed me that the room did not have a heater. I did not demand a downstairs room I asked if one was available. If they had said it did not have a heater or there was not one available I would have been ok upstairs. 3 am being screamed at is bad business. Finally got the heat up to 58. Wow

Friendly family running the place. Convenient to walk to the beach. Nice features in the room. Problem: no MSNBC on the television!

Arrived very late at night. The desk lady was very kind from just waking up. The room is clean, comfortable and well stocked 👍

Good place to stay for overnight now more than a night because the room is too small. Bathroom sink is separate from the toilet and shower very inconvenient. Bedsheets looks like it’s been recycled to the next occupant. It’s not recommended for long stay and if you are after cleanliness and stay convenience. Staff do not smile and not so welcoming from check in to check out. This only my opinion and experienced during our stay.

It was a nice stay. The location was a 10/10. It is a 6-minute walk from the beach, a 6-minute walk from the store, and surrounded by amazing restaurants.
