Room was nice no amentias whatsover no breakfast coffee at lobby nothing. Had to leave my room key in my room since office was closed at 6:15am. Found a number to call to let them know and was given a disconnected number. Rooms were nice and took forever to get hot water

Not much to look at from the outside but the rooms more than make up for it. Pleasantly surprised. Looks like it recently renovated. The front desk was very helpful. Nice view of the river behind the hotel with a few benches to sit.

Bathroom vanity had pealing paint on cabinet and doors. Bathroom had clearly visable large cobwebs from the vanity lights to the ceiling. Cable service (Spectrum) was a joke. Most channels said "service temporarily not available" and when you did get a channel to work, it constantly froze and tiled. Finally gave up and used my Ipad.

Great for an overnight stay to get a good night’s sleep. I couldn’t figure out how the TV worked however. It was overly complicated, didn’t respond to the remote, so I finally gave up.

Very clean and recently renovated property. The staff are nice but were a little slow getting to the front desk when arrived. The room (129) must have been far away from the wifi router because the connection was weak and would keep disconnecting. I liked that there were snack and drinks in the lobby and the drinks were super cold. The automatic curtains in the room were also very cool. The desk could use a lamp.

We kept having problems with our TV. Someone would have to come in and fix it every time we turned it on. I would have to walk over to the office because the phone didn't work. It was a pain. There were two of us staying in the room and the coffee maker is a Keurig. Only two pods were there and I asked for eight more as we were staying two nights, three mornings. The woman at the desk reluctantly gave them to me, She kept looking at me like I was going to steal them. The wifi connection was nice and strong. It would be nice if there was more then one chair in the room.

While this looked like an ordinary roadside motel from the front, when we opened the door to our deluxe, double queen riverside room, we were surprised and delighted by the view from the enormous picture window that framed the beautiful lawn leading down to the river behind the inn.

There is no proper sound proofing between floors if you are staying in the 2 story portions. We heard every footstep and voice ALL night of those above us all night. Otherwise, a good location for us to downtown New Milford and they accommodated an early check in.

This is exactly what you would expect from a small Inn. Decent facilities, base services, no amenities...average and reasonable. Setting is nice, off a main road with a river behind it, but staff was not very friendly. Good place to say for a night (not great value or cheap) when passing through the area. Close to town which is cute and worth walking through, and plenty of good restaurants nearby.

The hotel is only rated 2 stars, but the reviews that I read before booking were all positive so I took a chance. I'm very glad I did. The room was very neat, clean and odorless. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker which was convenient. We even had a view of the river which was nice. I gave lower stars for customer service because I tried to call the hotel before we left to ask a question and no one answered the phone after several tries. I realize they may be short-staffed and can't stay at the front desk but they should carry a cell phone to answer any calls. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The customer service was great! Due to it not being too busy for a Thursday, they upgraded our room free of charge. The room we stayed in was perfect. It was clean, spacious, and had a great view.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is not the Hilton, but it surpassed my expectations for what I paid for 3 nights. One evening I experienced an issue with the bathroom and I called the office. The gentleman was at my door in less than 10min and he fixed my issue and had left in less than 5. Amazing response and service from these folks 👏

I got to Rocky River Inn after a long and stressful day and found a heavenly haven! The Inn is set way back from the street so there is no traffic noise. The room was absolutely IMMACULATE!! The bed was extremely comfortable! The sheets were soft and looked brand new! The bathroom was very well laid out with a great walk in shower! There were plenty of Aveda toiletries! There was a fridge and a microwave! I would LOVE to stay there again and rate it a 10 out of 10. It is also extremely moderate in price, so extraordianarily high value.

I stayed just for one night but the place was excellent. The king bed room was very spacious including the bathroom and very comfortable. There are a couple of adirondack chairs right on the banks of the Housatonic River, sat and took a very peaceful nap there. For what I needed, it was a really good place to stay - met with folks in New Milford, which is like 5 minutes away along with the Housatonic Brewery. Great place. (2 mins away.) The price was affordable given the area as most other properties were much higher.

This is exactly what you would expect from a small Inn. Decent facilities, base services, no amenities...average and reasonable. Setting is nice, off a main road with a river behind it, but staff was not very friendly. Good place to say for a night (not great value or cheap) when passing through the area. Close to town which is cute and worth walking through, and plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Very clean and recently renovated property. The staff are nice but were a little slow getting to the front desk when arrived. The room (129) must have been far away from the wifi router because the connection was weak and would keep disconnecting. I liked that there were snack and drinks in the lobby and the drinks were super cold. The automatic curtains in the room were also very cool. The desk could use a lamp.

Room was nice no amentias whatsover no breakfast coffee at lobby nothing. Had to leave my room key in my room since office was closed at 6:15am. Found a number to call to let them know and was given a disconnected number. Rooms were nice and took forever to get hot water

Love the new upgrades as I stayed there last summer also. Dining spots in the area and mini fridge, microwave and Keurig were great in the room.

Our view was stunning with the river out the window! Big, clean room! Very close to New Milford and restaurants and shops! We came for the Gilmore Girls weekend and I would absolutely stay here again!

Linda Pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. Large room and bathroom was clean. Linens and towels provided daily. Parking outside the room. Location is convenient to amazing restaurants and gas stations. Would definitely recommend this inn.

So it's a motel, it's not a hotel they don't really have staff staff, right?It's you go and you do your thing if you want your room cleaned.I think you can leave the door unlocked.I'm not quite sure I didn't do that.I don't find it necessary to have somebody make my bed. Air conditioning worked fabulous. The TV was great. Our room overall was great shops nearby. There are lots and really good recommendations for restaurants. I don't think you can go wrong with staying here. The only thing I didn't love was it didn't have fitted sheets on the bed they used just plain sheets. For the mattress, but that is very European. So, I'm not quite sure if that was a mistake or if it was just how they run it. But everything was clean and everything was really nice and easy. Check-in easy checkout.

Finding rooms at a reasonabel price near Kent, Connecticut during the weekend. of the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association's fall festival is difficult. I was a bit nervous about it's not staying at one of my usual hotel chains. But this small hotel was spacious, clean, and reasonably priced. It will be the first place I will look for accommodations next Fall Festival.
