Retro motel. Enjoy being able to park at door and sit outside. Walking distance to various restaurants, gas and shopping. Area quiet, clean and comfortable. Hot strong shower. Enjoyed the goodnight rest.

This is a quaint small town 60’s-ish motel. Room was small but acceptable. It appeared some DIY remodeling had been done in restroom. They are a pet-friendly hotel and the room I had definitely showed that as there were what appeared to be urine stains on the floor based on the strong pet smell in the room. The in-room A/C didn’t work very well and I slept with the windows open to cool the room off and get fresh air into the room. Fortunately, no night traffic in this small town.

I have always stayed at the Super 8 when coming to Macon MO, but decided to give Traveler's motel. I'm really glad I did. It was a great place I had a King Smoking room as my friend that I was coming to see smokes so I decided I would get the smoking room for him He also has a dog so was able to have the dog in my room when he came over. I will be staying here again the next time I come to Macon MO, I did bring my own pillows as some of the reviews I read talked about poor pillows the pillows weren't bad but glad I brought mine with me. it was a spacious room. I will be requesting that room next time I stay.. Great Price and a Great place to stay. Thank you

The room was big, had windows that opened, fridge was cold, water was hot and the key card was easy. All I needed. Parked car in front of room making for an easy load and unload. Lots of areas for dogs to use.

I liked the fact that it was only about 5 to 10 minutes from the place we were all working at and had comfortable beds and was able to park right in front of your door

This property says it is the original Macon motor inn. It has not been updated since. The carpet is so dirty the only time I was barefoot was between the shower and bed to sit and put my socks on. I can't believe this place had 4 stars. I was desperate to find a room for three nights and this was the only place available that would take my dog too. If that ever happens again I'll probably sleep in the truck, at least I know it's clean.

Travelers, I’d be cautious with this one. It is ok—and a great price, but it’s dated. Our room had filthy carpet and a questionable bathroom. The drapes were broken from their bracket and couldn’t fully close. The breakfast was bananas, apples, cereal, and prepackaged honeybuns. Not awful but not great either.

One word: Roaches. Everywhere. This is my second and last stay here. This time we got put in the rooms across the street and they were disgustingly gross. If the Super 8 hadn’t been sold out I would of left. There’s a reason they have a sign at the check in desk that says “no refunds”. Gross

The smoke alarm was beeping because it had no battery, and I had to walk to the front office and get the clerk because the there was no answer from the room phone. The foot of the bed was missing support on one side, so I placed the ice bucket under the bed to keep it from tipping. There was a cigarette butt in the toilet - it is a no-smoking room. The temperature of the water in the shower could not be changed from scalding hot, so I bathed at the sink. As it was late and I was tired, other than the smoke alarm I resolved things myself. I made the morning clerk aware of the other problems as I was checking out.

This is an older motel that has not been kept up sufficiently. Lots of minor issues in the room, plus the heater wasn't quite able to keep up with the cold weather. Our room was small and cramped. It may be OK for a single person looking for a cheap place for the night, but certainly not for longer stays. Breakfast was poor.

This is a budget motel, but worked for us as a quick overnight stay instead of a 3 hour drive home late at night. Considering the super 8 across the street was $50 more, it served its purpose and was a decent value. Room was stuffy when we entered. Turning on the air a couple hours before checking in would have taken it up a couple notches.

The room had a small step down after entering the room, which could have been a disaster. Fortunately no one was hurt. The step makes no sense and there should be a line of Yellow tape on it so one can see it easily. There were no extra pillows or any blankets on the bed or in the drawers, just a sheet and bed spread. I will not stay here again.

Amal rooms were about 10x10 . Adjacent rooms were noisy. And played music until 11:00pm .. loud swearing with probably the beginning of a fight. Owner did nothing about drinking, fighting, or swearing. Many rooms involved and we were uncomfortable all night. I confronted the owner acknowledged the incident but did nothing about it.

Amal rooms were about 10x10 . Adjacent rooms were noisy. And played music until 11:00pm .. loud swearing with probably the beginning of a fight. I can't fairly rate the property. I didn't stay. The exterior and parking lot were SO deteriorated that I asked to see a room instead of accepting a key. The bed may have been clean and comfortable (?) but the room was dark and tiny and gave the appearance of shabby. The bathroom was bright, likely clean, but so tiny I didn't enter. No renovation can save this place without knocking out walls to double the space, costing more than the building is worth. I don't know if Expedia will refund a $7 reservation fee but the owner was gracious and said he charges nothing for cancelling. We drove on to find something more comfortable.

If you don't mind older smaller motel rooms. The 1st room I got the TV didn't work. Ⅱ room the TV work fine But the signal was terrible On all the channels. The room was cleaned The bed What's an old mattress With hard spring around the edge. This was not an $80 room 55 or 60.

My stay at Travelier Motel in Macon, MO was very nice. I arrived super late, and the lady checked me in with no issues, and was so very sweet. My room was amazing! It was very clean, and smelled clean too. It came with a hair dryer which was cool. It's close to a Wal-Mart if you need last minute essentials. There's a gas station on the corner with an awesome carwash. I believe it's called Haymakers. There's a DQ right there. So awesomeness this place is

We were it in a room next to people who looked like they were living there. They began cooking, drinking and playing loud music at 8pm. Then there was banging that shook our walls. My wife and I packed up and left at 9pm and drove 2 hrs in the dark, mind you, the whole reason we stayed in the first place is so we wouldn't have to drive in the dark. On the way home I called the front desk and asked for a refund, the two men I spoke with couldn't understand English then hung up on me. Don't waste you're money here because they will not work with you if something goes wrong.

Pros: - It was a good, clean room with good air. - Very affordable. Cons: - Not really a continental breakfast. 2 cereals, fruit, honeybuns, and a microwavable frozen sausage biscuit. - No place to eat breakfast. - They only change towels and make your room if you ask, so be advised. - No iron.

My stay at Travelier Motel in Macon, MO was very nice. I arrived super late, and the lady checked me in with no issues, and was so very sweet. My room was amazing! It was very clean, and smelled clean too. It came with a hair dryer which was cool. It's close to a Wal-Mart if you need last minute essentials. There's a gas station on the corner with an awesome carwash. I believe it's called Haymakers. There's a DQ right there. So awesomeness this place is

Retro motel. Enjoy being able to park at door and sit outside. Walking distance to various restaurants, gas and shopping. Area quiet, clean and comfortable. Hot strong shower. Enjoyed the goodnight rest.

I liked the fact that it was only about 5 to 10 minutes from the place we were all working at and had comfortable beds and was able to park right in front of your door

It was the only motel with an opening, or I wouldn't have chosen it. The room was dingy; the bathtub was worn, rusty and dingy. The breakfast offerings were limited and not very good, except for the orange juice.

This is an older motel that has not been kept up sufficiently. Lots of minor issues in the room, plus the heater wasn't quite able to keep up with the cold weather. Our room was small and cramped. It may be OK for a single person looking for a cheap place for the night, but certainly not for longer stays. Breakfast was poor.

Travelers, I’d be cautious with this one. It is ok—and a great price, but it’s dated. Our room had filthy carpet and a questionable bathroom. The drapes were broken from their bracket and couldn’t fully close. The breakfast was bananas, apples, cereal, and prepackaged honeybuns. Not awful but not great either.

Pros: - It was a good, clean room with good air. - Very affordable. Cons: - Not really a continental breakfast. 2 cereals, fruit, honeybuns, and a microwavable frozen sausage biscuit. - No place to eat breakfast. - They only change towels and make your room if you ask, so be advised. - No iron.

Very cozy motel. I was moving several states away, with my 2 cats, so we booked a room at Travelier for the night. We were running WAY behind and ended up arriving to Travelier after midnight, but the manager was very kind and kept our room for us. I reserved a room with a single queen bed and the room was the perfect size for us. I'd say it was about the size of an average bedroom. They supplied a microwave and a decently sized mini-fridge in addition to the TV and the other usual amenities. Everything was clean and tidy. They do offer a limited continental breakfast (cereal, fresh fruit, granola bars, packaged sweet pastries, tea, coffee, juice) but I'm strictly coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

For a low priced motel, I was actually pretty impressed with how clean and comfortable the room was. Not a lot of amenities per se, but plenty of ice in the ice maker for what we needed. I am a bit disappointed as I was made aware they are no longer taking pets. That’s the reason I booked with them in the first place. I will have to find another place next year for our 3D Archery Tournament as I will be bringing my dog again.

I checked in got into my room went to microwave some food and there was a cockroach crawling across the microwave so when I called the front desk at 5:00 they were already gone for the day no answer so I decided to take a shower let the water run for 25 minutes absolutely no hot water what I said something next day I was told oh we'll have them look into it also breakfast was supposed to be at 8:00 I checked out at 8:15 and they were still no breakfast out

WARNING! Do not get duped like I did. I booked a room online, and when I showed up two hours later (at 11:30) the office was locked and empty. We tried knocking, ringing the doorbell and calling repeatedly, but no one answered. We never got our room and had to find another hotel. We have yet to get a refund or even an acknowledgment, let alone an apology. Buyer be warned - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

Our room hadnt been cleaned after receiving our room key. We had to wait in a family members room for over two hours AFTER check in, we were on a time crunch for an event and weren't able to drop our belongings off in our room like we had hoped. There were roaches in the bathroom. Holes in blankets/sheets. One of the tv's didnt work. Front desk said there was no manager available to talk to and couldnt give a phone number to reach one.
