Looking for beach life living? I would recommend Tahitian Beach Resort in Treasure Island. The staff was so attentive and kind. Very clean rooms, outside pool, shuffle board, billiards outside, movies at night at the pool, full bar and bites. Just know this is not a pet friendly resort.

Great Experience at the Tahitian Resort! There are two outdoor heated pools and many outdoor games available for free. These amenities were perfect for our stay since the weather wasn’t super warm. The property has beach access and kayak rentals as well as bike rentals. We could have stayed occupied just at the resort. Highly recommend if you are in the treasure island area. Perfect location as it’s in between St.Johns Pass and St.Pete beach.

Last minute decided to find a room near the beach. Hotels.com had a good deal for a room so we booked. This hotel did not disappoint. It’s been renovated and is just lovely. The two pools are pristine. We stayed in a king room in one of the buildings across the street on the canal. The pool is beautiful back there as well as hammock area, two fire pit areas, a nice courtyard and some chairs on the canal to sit at. The main building also has multiple fire pits, outdoor game area, another pool and is an easy flat walk to the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was over the top! Yaudel the manager and Simone the housekeeper were the best! The rooms were newly remodeled, the pool was sparkling clean. Many options for outdoor seating , plenty of outdoors games. It was steps from the beach. The bar was convenient with many selections!

This is a nice clean place, don't hesitate to book here. There is a pool area as well as an additional outside seating area that is covered, which is nice for the Florida rain showers. Outdoor activities are available, onsite rentals of beach items such as paddleboards, wagons, coolers, etc. and there is also a snack bar. The walk to the beach isn't far.

This was a great place inside and out. Friendly staff, and very accommodating. Terrific location. I would’ve had the best sleep ever because their mattress was perfect for my bad back. However, they made an unfortunate decision to play at an insanely high volume an outdoor movie at the pool, which is nestled in between the motel units. It disrupted everyone’s sleep for hours and seemed very unnecessary. If they wanted to do an outdoor movie, it should’ve been much further away from the units or turn the volume down for the two people that were actually watching it! This was the only negative of our stay there, but it was a big one!

Great location and outstanding staff; however the room wasn’t cleaned as it should be. I am bold(shaved hair) and found midsize hair at the toilet, bed sheets, and sink and; long size hair in the bed and several inside the shower/tub. The sheets weren’t clean either. Disgusting.

Very nice idea for a property. Remodel innovations are a touch touch. I wanted to rest and relax by the beach. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than expected because of the location of my room, 202. The Macaw bird was extremely loud, I asked for a room change but was told no. In the kitchen area I did see roaches. The base boards needed to be cleaned throughout the space.

Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than expected because of the location of my room, 202. The Macaw bird was extremely loud, I asked for a room change but was told no. Hotel appears nice and clean on the outside with great outdoor staff. Location and amenities were worth the resort fee. However, our garden view suite was less than ideal with poor venting (ie. no dehumidifier so clothes and bed sheets were always damp), extremely moldy window sills due to poor ventilation even with windows open and loud AC/fan which had to be run at all times due to dampness. When we asked the office, they said to turn the AC to 62 degrees which was too cold to be comfortable on rainy days. Towels are old and well used. Housekeeping was minimal with dirty floors evident after our room was cleaned. Sunday had no housekeeping service. Beds were not made for two days even with damp sheets. Found a cockroach in one of the bed sheets. Lack of outlets and bathroom storage was inconvenient too. Will not be back for these reasons.

The property and amenities were great and there were plenty of activities and rentals for the family. The snack bar was convenient and the employees were accommodating and friendly. The room appeared updated and clean. It was spacious for a standard double bed room. However, during the night and into the morning we noticed several cockroaches, small ones too. When I brought it to their attention I was just given a quick apology. We checked out that morning, so I didn’t make it a big deal. We won’t be back though.

Misleading marketing of rooms, not clearly shown that there are 4 separate buildings in which you can be placed 3 of which are across the road from the beach. The room is crowded and feels unorganized. We found a roach in the tub and the tile on the floor was chipped and peeling up. I will never return here, for 260+ dollars a night and you're not even on the beach? You can just go down the street and pay the same price to be on the beach in a nicer larger room.

The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable.. pillows were nice . The check in was great ! Parking isn’t the best for as many people that were staying there , but we managed . They’ve remolded since we were last there a few years ago .. Nicely upgraded.

Rooms look to be recently renovated. We have a family room that included 2 queen beds, a bathroom, kitchen and living room. The room looked and smelled clean. For the price, it was a good overall pick. Cons would be that the beds are too soft (you REALLY sink in) and that the bar is very expensing (like $12 a drink). I should also note that my parents also got a room here and their room smelled damp/moldy/previously smoked in. Overall good rating but I prob wouldn’t book here again simply due to the beds. If soft beds work for you, then it’s a good choice.

Die Lage und auch die Freizeitmöglichkeiten in der Unterkunft sind sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten extrem weich und das Zimmer unglaublich hellhörig. Wer die 150 bekommt, sollte direkt nach einem anderen Zimmer fragen, da es an der Straße liegt und die Autos gefühlt durchs Zimmer fahren.
Die Lage und auch die Freizeitmöglichkeiten in der Unterkunft sind sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten extrem weich und das Zimmer unglaublich hellhörig. Wer die 150 bekommt, sollte direkt nach einem anderen Zimmer fragen, da es an der Straße liegt und die Autos gefühlt durchs Zimmer fahren.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tahitian. Only qualms I have are that there wasn’t a heavier blanket on the bed like a duvet and that we were a little close to the road in our room and sometimes it got a little noisy. The property is beautiful, staff was very friendly, and it’s in a nice location within walking distance to most places of interest.

The location was great. Our beds were sooooooooo small. Like 2 twin beds with coils u could feel when u lay down. Needless to say I didn’t sleep the entire time cause my bed was so uncomfortable. We saw 2 cockroach’s in room and one in bathroom coming from under sink. I communicated this to the girl at desk and all she said was wow we’ve never heard that before. This was my husbands birthday so it was less than great.

All members of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. All of our needs and special requests were honored quickly and efficiently. The property and rooms had a cute vibe, and there was a lot of activities on-site. We even got a cute Christmas ornament and card as souveniers. I highly recommend this property.

This is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed at booked through Expedia that charged my card on file (for incidentals) for the price of the room. When stated that I bought the room through Expedia, they said they didn’t receive confirmation from Expedia and they wouldn’t reimburse me. I contacted Expedia who then contacted the hotel. They ended up reimbursing me. THEN. Two weeks after, my card was charged AGAIN. I haven’t been refunded yet after contacting them numerous times. Very shady. Cannot recommend unless you want your card charged randomly weeks after your stay.

The staff at the Tahitian Beach Resort were phenomenal. Every staff member I came in contact was upbeat, accommodating, and professional. Check in was a breeze. An on-site cafe and snack bar topped the cake.

This is an amazing place to stay. The front desk called me to confirm my stay and answered all my questions. I called to tell them we would be late to check in. They told me what to do upon arrival. Someone was there to assist me promptly.

We were pleasantly surprise by our clean and spacious the rooms were in these 2 stars hotel. The hotel has several buildings and few are across the street from the beach and it can be challenging and dangerous to cross the street. Parking was also a bit far but at least we had a spot every night. Room was very spacious with all we needed and pristine clean. Location is great and the hotel has a cute little meditation garden. We will come back.

Great place to stay for a quick family trip. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Staff were friendly. The hotel's location was so convenient (walkable to the beach and to restaurants. Very pleased with our experience!

Such a great resort and location in general. We really enjoyed our stay! Food and Drinks on site and can also walk to a couple bar and grills. We parked in the large parking lot across the street and didn't need our car once. Can't wait to come back! This area is great if you want to have fun, have a few drinks, but stay pretty chill and relaxed with no drama.

So much work has gone into the Tahitian recently. It really is a lovely resort and the location is convenient to restaurants, shops, the grocery, etc. Parking is tricky, however, especially when the resort is full. There are limited spaces on the Gulf side and the parking on the other side (the resort spans Gulf Blvd) can be tight. A tip from a frequent traveler: The housekeeping staff is told to check in with the guests every morning so if you don't want a knock on your door while you're having breakfast or taking a shower, hang your Do Not Disturb sign. They will bring you anything you need, but the every morning visit is not as welcome as I expect they mean it to be.

This was our second stay at Tahitian Beach Resort, but first time with little ones. The location, right off the beach, is absolutely perfect, though it is a bit of a walk to the water. They have a variety of rooms and apartments to suit every party size or need, and the recent renovations are aesthetically pleasing, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the larger bathroom and kitchen area in our junior suite. Great amenities like games, grills and water equipment rentals, plus some food and a bar on location. We loved the heated pools and courtyard ambiance. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely an excellent beach side stay!

Everything was clean. Nice little pools and beach area is right there. Parking is tricky not a lot. I would say say park and order in. We would definitely be back. They had a small menu during the day. Chicken wings was delicious

Looking for beach life living? I would recommend Tahitian Beach Resort in Treasure Island. The staff was so attentive and kind. Very clean rooms, outside pool, shuffle board, billiards outside, movies at night at the pool, full bar and bites. Just know this is not a pet friendly resort.

Rooms look to be recently renovated. We have a family room that included 2 queen beds, a bathroom, kitchen and living room. The room looked and smelled clean. For the price, it was a good overall pick. Cons would be that the beds are too soft (you REALLY sink in) and that the bar is very expensing (like $12 a drink). I should also note that my parents also got a room here and their room smelled damp/moldy/previously smoked in. Overall good rating but I prob wouldn’t book here again simply due to the beds. If soft beds work for you, then it’s a good choice.

The staff was over the top! Yaudel the manager and Simone the housekeeper were the best! The rooms were newly remodeled, the pool was sparkling clean. Many options for outdoor seating , plenty of outdoors games. It was steps from the beach. The bar was convenient with many selections!

This is a nice clean place, don't hesitate to book here. There is a pool area as well as an additional outside seating area that is covered, which is nice for the Florida rain showers. Outdoor activities are available, onsite rentals of beach items such as paddleboards, wagons, coolers, etc. and there is also a snack bar. The walk to the beach isn't far.

We enjoyed our stay! We had a couple of small problems that were quickly resolved. They keep the property very clean. They had pools, a small bar with drinks and snacks. Lots of outdoor activities. Our room had a stove, oven, refrigerator. Dishes, coffee, tea , a Keurig. AC . A table and chairs , outside and inside . A couch. Short walk to restaurants.
