Very clean room. Beach was a very short walk along bammpath from hotel. On the quiet end of Seaside beach. Staff was friendly and communicated well via text regarding my late arrival. Comfortable bed and jetted tub was welcomed.

STAY HERE! Amazing stay! 2 second walk to beach. Pristine clean, comfortable, cozy room. I had a fireplace. Was exquisite. Dryer, toiletries, soaps, soft bathroom towels. shampoo, conditioner, makeup wipes. . Kitchenette with micro, keurig, plates, mugs etc. Teas, coffees, creamer. Fabulous staff. Everything about this place was great. Keyless entry too. Small parking area, but spots just on street, close. No elevator if you should need one. solo female traveler. Felt very safe. Loved it here. I'll be back.

The hotel itself was fine. The location was good and close to the beach. What felt less than hospitable were the multiple texts before we arrived, asking us repeatedly if we were bringing pets or extra people before they would give us the code to the room. I've never had a hotel take a tone with us like this before. Because we had two queen beds, I did invite our daughter to join us so they charged us extra. We have stayed in many hotels over the years which have been very welcoming and hospitable, but the demanding tone of the texts and the extra charge leaves me not wanting to visit this hotel again.

This was our first time staying at Inn at the Shore, and we were met with such friendliness from our very first call when we were simply inquiring about a room. Joann was incredibly friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person during check-in. Our room was great. We were traveling with two dogs and were especially happy to have a ground-level room. The thoughtful basket with dog sheets, towels, bowls, and treats was such a nice touch and very much appreciated! The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the property was well maintained. We also appreciated the personal touches throughout our stay. We received check-ins by email and in person the following morning to make sure we had everything we needed. We ultimately decided to leave a day early to avoid driving home ahead of an approaching storm. Andrew was extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting us with our early checkout. We would definitely stay at Inn at the Shore again and would happily recommend it to others, especially those traveling with dogs!

We booked the two-bedroom oceanfront suite with a balcony and paid quite a bit more because this was a special trip for us—our babymoon, anniversary, and our daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the room we received was nothing like what we expected. The listing specifically indicated an oceanfront room with a balcony, but we were given a ground-floor room with NO balcony at all. The ocean was barely visible from the room, and there was a huge tree directly in front of the entrance obstructing the view. Being able to sit on a balcony and watch the sunset was a major reason we chose this room and paid the higher price, so this was extremely disappointing and felt very misleading. Cleanliness was also an issue. One bedroom had brown spots on the sheet and cover, while the other bedroom had noticeable pet hair and crumbs on the sheets. The water pressure was terrible, and we could not get hot water, only warm. Floor also had hair and dirt. When we checked in, the staff member mentioned that we were the last guests to check in, so we knew there were no other rooms available to move to. We were really looking forward to this stay and chose this hotel specifically for a very special family trip. Unfortunately, the room and experience did not come close to matching what we paid for or what was advertised.
