The property was very beautiful. It had wildlife (saw a couple foxes, frogs, lizards and cats) and many areas to explore. The staff was very helpful and made every effort to make sure we had transportation (utilized the shuttle many times) when needed. Really enjoyed the extra effort by the staff.

The property was beautiful. It gave you a true feeling of old vintage Rome/Italy atmosphere. The staff was helpful. This is definitely a wedding destination to share with family and friends because everybody can be on the property. It is in the country with no other things close by but a beautiful location.

Das Relais Castrum ist wohl ein alter Gutshof, dient vermutlich hauptsächlich als Location für Veranstaltungen. Die Lage ist super, 20min. mit dem Auto vom Flughafen Rom Fiumicino entfernt, oberhalb der Stadt im Grünen, sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind urig eingerichtet, Betten bequem, Flat TV, Dusche super, Schrank vorhanden. Im Areal gibt es ein Restaurant, dort haben wir super gegessen. Auch ein Shuttle in die Stadt wird gegen ein geringes Entgeld angeboten. Zu dem Preis unschlagbar.

Amazing service, clean, great food! We went with kids and they loved the view and walking around the hotel! We went right after flying 12hrs, and we got there when the restaurant was closing and they extended the time so we could have lunch 🙏

When we arrived, we were received with a friendly reception and walked to our room for convenience. The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable, there was a mini fridge to keep our drinks cold and a blow dryer in the bathroom. The breakfast wasn’t very good with a variety of meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal, fruit with coffee and juices to drink. We were very impressed with the property!

The location is special! We enjoyed the grounds. Just keep in mind that the walls are paper thin and all can be heard. Also, the mattresses are dated and need to be replaced

Our room had everything we needed:comfy bed, fridge, WiFi and great shower. Included breakfast was delicious with espresso and fresh pastries, eggs, bacon and much more! Just lovely. The countryside was beautiful.

The property itself is nice. It's a cute experience but only one day maybe. We ended up checking out early. They advertise air conditioning however you cannot control it yourself and it is one unit for the entire property so they keep it warm and mostly off. It was too hot to sleep so we kept our windows open which then made it very noisy. They advertise black out curtains too and my room did not have those, the light hit our face all night. On top of that we woke up to construction right outside our room at 8am so we could not sleep. The restaurant at the top is good but the menu is limited.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel, super Personal und ein guer Service. Ich muss jedoch etwas bemängeln, der Schallschutz lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig, man hat sogar das schalten der Lichtschalter im Nachbarzimmer gehört. Aber nichts desto trotz ist es ein Schmuckstück.

There wasn’t anything around there there was a bus station right there so I needed to take 2 busses and a train to get anywhere. the staff were amazing helped me out a lot and they let me stay past checkout since my flight was later in the day, and they gave me a ride to the airport for a lot cheaper then anywhere else. The rooms weren’t anything crazy but there was everything I needed in there. The compound was absolutely beautiful !

A estadia foi bastante agradável, o local é incrível, nem parece que você está próximo à Roma. Bastante confortável com tudo que se precisa, além do restaurante funcionando até às 22h e com estacionamento gratuito. A única observação é com relação ao atendimento da recepcionista e do garçom do restaurante que nos atenderam de forma bastante rude, sem nenhuma simpatia ou gentileza, apenas nos atenderam, não condizendo com um local tão lindo.

A estadia foi bastante agradável, o local é incrível, nem parece que você está próximo à Roma. Bastante confortável com tudo que se precisa, além do restaurante funcionando até às 22h e com estacionamento gratuito. Amazing service, clean, great food! We went with kids and they loved the view and walking around the hotel! We went right after flying 12hrs, and we got there when the restaurant was closing and they extended the time so we could have lunch 🙏

We stayed 2 days in the room nr 30. The receptionist refused to give us an expedia VIP upgrade, even there were still rooms available for booking. The room we got was next to a room used for washing and storage of dishes and pans The restaurant was open for breakfast only, still the staff didn’t care to do their duties between 22.00 and 24.00 at night. We called the reception to complain about the situation and requested a different room but our request was rejected and problem not resolved. When we talked to the kitchen staff, we’ve got a very rude response that we can call the police if we want because they will continue as long as they want. In the bathroom we had only hand shower, the other part was broken. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

This hotel was the quintessential Italian country inn - the views were of stunning sunflower fields and gorgeous sunsets. My mother and I had an amazing time relaxing in the gardens. The service was unparalleled. Omar, our waiter, was exceptional!

Das Relais Castrum ist wohl ein alter Gutshof, dient vermutlich hauptsächlich als Location für Veranstaltungen. Die Lage ist super, 20min. mit dem Auto vom Flughafen Rom Fiumicino entfernt, oberhalb der Stadt im Grünen, sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind urig eingerichtet, Betten bequem, Flat TV, Dusche super, Schrank vorhanden. Im Areal gibt es ein Restaurant, dort haben wir super gegessen. Auch ein Shuttle in die Stadt wird gegen ein geringes Entgeld angeboten. Zu dem Preis unschlagbar.

There wasn’t anything around there there was a bus station right there so I needed to take 2 busses and a train to get anywhere. the staff were amazing helped me out a lot and they let me stay past checkout since my flight was later in the day, and they gave me a ride to the airport for a lot cheaper then anywhere else. The rooms weren’t anything crazy but there was everything I needed in there. The compound was absolutely beautiful !

I stayed here for an overnight before an early flight out of Rome because it’s only 35 minutes from the airport. Said they would accommodate me with a breakfast box to go, but that never happened. It’s the only property I stayed in on a month long trip to Italy where I was told the water was not safe to drink. If that’s the case, they should not be charging for bottled water

The property itself is nice. It's a cute experience but only one day maybe. We ended up checking out early. They advertise air conditioning however you cannot control it yourself and it is one unit for the entire property so they keep it warm and mostly off. It was too hot to sleep so we kept our windows open which then made it very noisy. They advertise black out curtains too and my room did not have those, the light hit our face all night. On top of that we woke up to construction right outside our room at 8am so we could not sleep. The restaurant at the top is good but the menu is limited.

Great location, very nice place! Spacious and clean room, with a lovely balcony and a stunning forest view. Excellent breakfast. The girl at the breakfast restaurant is very nice and friendly. Suggestions: - it would be nice to have a kettle in the room just to prepare a tea; - the air dryer is definitely to change, replace it with a new efficient style; - install mosquito net! That said, this relais is a wonderful option to spend few days is a peaceful and fantastic place, really recommended!

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. A lot of weddings happen here, but our stay no weddings or events took place. Great restaurants and breakfast options for us. They baked fresh Italian bread where you have to cut a slice! So authentic. I came here for my bday and the server even prepared me a bday cake, thought that was so kind. Shuttle service was a lifesaver, because this hotel location is not travel friendly to get to the city! Even to take the bus you have to walk down a dirt hill to the bus stop. But the shuttle service is nice and cost is very affordable only $10 euros round trip each person to take you to the train station where it takes you to the cities. $20 euros for one way airport shuttle. It’s a very nice hotel to get away from the city but far.
