Amazing property built into the hill. Easy free parking on street below and near lower entrance. Elevator takes you up inside the hill to lobby and to city access. Wonderful patio overlooking the valley for the included breakfast. Front desk staff so welcoming. Loved this place. Which we could stay another day. Town of Ragusa highly recommended and also a stay at the San Giorgio Palace hotel!

Die Möglichkeit, das Auto an der Zufahrtsstraße problemlos zu parken und im 7. Stock des Hotels aus dem Lift zu steigen und direkt auf Höhe der Altstadt zu sein, ist genial. Das Hotel ist überhaupt einzigartig - ein Mix aus alten Gemäuern und moderner Einrichtung, auf der ein traumhaften Terrasse kann man ein sehr gutes Frühstück genießen. Wir waren begeistert.

L’ingresso dell’hotel è un lungo corridoio in pietra molto scenografico, cortese ma palesemente inesperiente il personale della reception. Il sito dell’albergo assicura un parcheggio riservato per gli ospiti, ma si tratta di un tratto di strada pubblica con alcuni stalli gratuiti… Avevamo prenotato una superior, ci é stata riservata una stanza al terzo piano non servito da ascensore; quindi o si saliva al quarto per scendere mediante scale al terzo, o viceversa ! La cosa più negativa era la biancheria del letto: sdrucita e con buchi. Insomma: esperienza molto negativa

Unique hotel with street parking access from lower street then lift to reception on second floor. Fifth floor direct access to old town. Our room was spacious and modern with spectacular view the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended !

This is an excellent hotel but not easily located when driving. The roadside access is easy but the hotel entrance not very visible. DO NOT USE Google maps to locate the hotel - it will lead you to an entrance in the old town with a very, very narrow one way, residents only road. The hotel main entrance is from the main road below the old town. The hotel is not permitted to have a more visible sign so the roadside entrance can be missed. It's a very good hotel.

I liked that it is dug into the side of Ragusa Ibla with rooms stacked vertically from the road up to the old town and they on the 5th floor you can exit to the back streets. Parking was okay… I think would have not been so easy at a busier time of the year. The exterior is welcoming as was the person at reception. Not all the people at Reception knew the answers to questions but generally they were quick to respond which we appreciated. The cleanliness of the room was okay.. mirrors could have done with some cleaning and there were quite a few scuffs on the white wall in several areas which surprised me. This felt in some ways more like a 3 star hotel than a 4. The central temperature was air co sitting so we called and asked to have the heat turned on. They promptly came with a small stand alone heater. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a sunny room or on the patio.. nice to be able to do that in November. The staff at the dining area were okay. The eggs were cold.. I hate cold eggs.

Do NOT use maps-no access. The directions for car access and parking should be clearly stated and outlined. It took us a long time to find and access and no one available by phone. Just call ahead for info- very important. Now that we are here- understand the situation. But honestly, I read reviews about this problem but difficult to actually understand until experienced. But, an adventure! Hotel did not send us a message for anrrival annd parking instructions until after we arrived. That did not help our frustration. Also, it’s limited in amenities- more like a BnB. No coffee in room. But, fine for one night stay. Perfect location to enjoy Ragusa Ibla.

San Giorgio Palace has a spectacular location atop Ragusa. When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating at check in and departure. The breakfast was great. The only difficulty we encountered was not the hotel's doing but worth mentioning. Apple and Google maps both brought us the upper level of the hotel which required meticulous navigation on tiny streets to reach, only to discover we should have been three stories below on a relatively wide street. Map carefully!

They are top notch. I would consider it a totally 5-star hotel. Breakfast crew are so lovely, the front desk are spectacular , and the cleaning lady is a total hero. It’s spotless clean and meticulously decorated. Please make sure you book with them directly, to get a better deal.

Struttura confortevole, con ottima posizione ideale per visitare al meglio Ragusa Ibla e dintorni, personale gentile e disponibile. Camere pulite così come tutta la struttura. Se tornerò a Ragusa sceglierò sicuramente questo hotel .

On first appearances all seemed nice, but the hotel lacked any character and was rather soul less. The room was clean and tidy but dull. Bathroom was small and lacked anywhere to put anything. Unique hotel with street parking access from lower street then lift to reception on second floor. Fifth floor direct access to old town. Our room was spacious and modern with spectacular view the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended !

Excellent stay in Ragusa Ibla. From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was perfect! Staff were hospitable and helpful. Room was a good size with a big patio with view. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Easy to park on the street and take elevator to reception- but you do need to carry suitcases up a ramp. Then another elevator to street access and only a few steps to main square. Loved the hotel!

The Hotel is well located. We were disappointed with room lighting, it was difficult to read and use my laptop. The room became quite warm and stuffy during the night even the a/c was set at 18 C.

We stayed here for two nights in a standard garden room. While the furnishings lacked charm, the room was extremely comfortable for the two of us. Great bed and quality linens. Excellent AC. Quiet surroundings. Generous breakfast. Close to outstanding restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere from here. Would definitely recommend.

Excelentemente ubicado. La propiedad es fantástica. La habitación con terraza ubicada en el 5 piso, era pequeña y la temperatura del agua de la ducha era difícil de fijar. Fluctuaba entre fría y caliente obligando a estar corrigiéndola constantemente. Asimismo el extractor del baño era extremadamente ruidoso convietiendo la ducha en algo tortuoso. Every staff member was friendly and extremely helpful! Although we had a hard time finding the hotel in the dark, once we had directions from the staff we made it to this incredible hotel built into the cliff. They also arranged a ride for us from Ragusa to Pozzallo where we were departing Sicily by boat to Malta. In addition to the amazing staff, the breakfast was superb and the fifth floor exit to explore the city centre made for a delightful trip!

Although we had a hard time finding the hotel in the dark, once we had directions from the staff we made it to this incredible hotel built into the cliff. I liked that it is dug into the side of Ragusa Ibla with rooms stacked vertically from the road up to the old town and they on the 5th floor you can exit to the back streets. Parking was okay… I think would have not been so easy at a busier time of the year. The exterior is welcoming as was the person at reception. Not all the people at Reception knew the answers to questions but generally they were quick to respond which we appreciated. The cleanliness of the room was okay.. mirrors could have done with some cleaning and there were quite a few scuffs on the white wall in several areas which surprised me. This felt in some ways more like a 3 star hotel than a 4. The central temperature was air co sitting so we called and asked to have the heat turned on. They promptly came with a small stand alone heater. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a sunny room or on the patio.. nice to be able to do that in November. The staff at the dining area were okay. The eggs were cold.. I hate cold eggs.

Amazing property built into the hill. Easy free parking on street below and near lower entrance. Elevator takes you up inside the hill to lobby and to city access. Wonderful patio overlooking the valley for the included breakfast. Front desk staff so welcoming. Loved this place. Which we could stay another day. Town of Ragusa highly recommended and also a stay at the San Giorgio Palace hotel!

This is an excellent hotel but not easily located when driving. The roadside access is easy but the hotel entrance not very visible. DO NOT USE Google maps to locate the hotel - it will lead you to an entrance in the old town with a very, very narrow one way, residents only road. The hotel main entrance is from the main road below the old town. The hotel is not permitted to have a more visible sign so the roadside entrance can be missed. It's a very good hotel.

San Giorgio Palace has a spectacular location atop Ragusa. When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating at check in and departure. The breakfast was great. The only difficulty we encountered was not the hotel's doing but worth mentioning. Apple and Google maps both brought us the upper level of the hotel which required meticulous navigation on tiny streets to reach, only to discover we should have been three stories below on a relatively wide street. Map carefully!

Although it wasn't the easiest finding this hotel outside of the limited zone area, otherwise, the stay was perfection. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly and professional. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious and you couldn't beat the view from the terrace. Breathtaking! Would stay here again....without a doubt.

Die Möglichkeit, das Auto an der Zufahrtsstraße problemlos zu parken und im 7. Stock des Hotels aus dem Lift zu steigen und direkt auf Höhe der Altstadt zu sein, ist genial. So I wanted I giving them one one star only rate. I had the the worst time in there The receptionists um she wasn't good at all. Uh she she was so so angry and getting so upset when I was complaining about the room and trying to get a better room. And I was telling her that the room is not same as the one that I booked. And she was telling me, no, that's what you booked. And anyhow, so she was literally fighting with me. On contrary trying to help. Then the other manager, whoever he was that day, I didn't get their names actually, he um apparently helped me, sent me to a B&B in in center of the town, which was not what I wanted, but uh it was better than the room like the bunker that they gave me with no windows, just the door, small door open and the room was smelling like moldy. And that was the room that she gave me and um finally they sent me to this B&B. But it was not what I wanted at all. And when I came back in the morning, so I could have breakfast, they charged me an extra ten euros for breakfast. Horrible and even the the the servers the the the the breakfast they were unpleasant, and oh my goodness, I did not like it at all. There is their voices they were angry people complaining like not good. They didn't give me a good vibe. There was this or nothing at all. So I- I not recommend it. So I wanted I giving them one one star only rate. I had the the worst time in there The receptionists um she wasn't good at all. Uh she she was so so angry and getting so upset when I was complaining about the room and trying to get a better room. And I was telling her that the room is not same as the one that I booked. And she was telling me, no, that's what you booked. And anyhow, so she was literally fighting with me. On contrary trying to help. Then the other manager, whoever he was that day, I didn't get their names actually, he um apparently helped me, sent me to a B&B in in center of the town, which was not what I wanted, but uh it was better than the room like the bunker that they gave me with no windows, just the door, small door open and the room was smelling like moldy. And that was the room that she gave me and um finally they sent me to this B&B. But it was not what I wanted at all. And when I came back in the morning, so I could have breakfast, they charged me an extra ten euros for breakfast.
