I experienced a wonderful visit to the area and this includes my stay at Abalonia Inn. Some interior/office modifications and landscape projects were happening but they did not interfere with my personal accommodations. The inn is conveniently located near, and just far enough away from, a hub of tourist activity. Very walkable, but people with mobility issues shall discover occasional challenges (I formerly worked in healthcare). Reportedly, the inn is under new ownership & management. Hospitable group. Customer service was fine and available, when needed. Within hours of my arrival, I was surprised by a contact from management that my room selection needed to be changed; something about Hotels.com/Expedia having incorrectly offered me the room I reserved(?). Fortunately, I did not have mobility issues that prevented me from staying on the second floor. It's important to note I packed light and used smaller luggage; older structures have narrower stairwells/hallways and, often, no elevator. Best qualities of my room: comfortable bed; excellent AC; good shower water pressure & temp.; roomy drawers dresser; no creaky floor; pleasant outdoor aesthetic. Other observations: small toilet bowl/seat; hangar rod hung low above coffee maker; no microwave. Additional: suggesting that in future, when staff clean the shower stall, reach the undersides of the rims, as well, due to residue buildup. Overall, I enjoyed my Abalonia Inn experience.

Beautiful Old Inn in a perfect location. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub , even in October. Nice to have fresh bakery items and coffee, tea, etc in the office. Loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back!!

The hotel was so quaint and lovely. We stayed on the 3rd floor (no elevators). The room was so cute. The bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable and there is a flat screened tv. There was a fire pit, pool, and hot tub. Very cute place. Perfectly located to all shops and restaurants. All walkable from the hotel. It's the best spot to walk to the shops.

The Abalonia is terrific! Great location, clean, well-maintained, quaint inn of about 25-30 rooms. Super convenient to everything in Ogunquit, easy on-site parking, lovely heated pool and hot tub. And the staff (family-owned) could not have been nicer. We stayed in a second floor room with a king bed, and we liked it very much. Highly recommend the Abalonia!

Short walk to the beach and great location in town. The room was spotless and the amenities available were nice. It was nice that each room also had an outside sitting area. The staff could have been more knowledgeable and friendlier. Overall, I would definitely come back for a longer stay.

We stayed for our Anniversary weekend. We had a lovely time. The Inn is lovely. The pool and hot tub was a plus. I would highly recommend staying here. Great location.

Last min booking! First of all outstanding location 5 min from everything including the beach! Cool perks, property has a salt water pool in the back garden and a jacuzzi, both new and really nice spaces! Also, free parking and small breakfast with coffee and fresh muffins! Now our room was very basic but clean and comfortable! On their website you can see better rooms some of which with private deck, probably in the new annex! Overall a great place to stay and not overpriced! I will definitely go back!

It was one of the cleanest places that I've ever stayed at. The help was very welcoming, and available for any questions that I had. The pastries that were offered each morning were wonderful. It was conveniently located so that it was possible to walk where ever you wanted to go.

The family that operates this Inn makes you feel like family! The in is so convenient to dinning and beaches. The property was so clean with beautiful flowers. Truly a hidden gem to stay!!!!!

This property was rated as Exceptional and while I understand this rating comes from guests and not from the Inn, I think it is important for other guests to know that there is nothing exceptional about this place. It is a low budget operation, as my husband would say. Cheap or average at best. Coffee station on room didnt have all needed. Small bathroom, tiny shower, not very clean. Yellow/brown stains on white caulking. No place to put toiletries or hang towels/clothes. And if one gets the first/bottom floor, you have to endure guests on the floor above dragging furniture, luggage or whatever at any time. After 9pm I think there should be a "quiet time", "respect to other guests". Very unconsidered. They were nice to allow us to keep our vehicle while we went shopping after our check out. We used the space for couple of hours and they had muffins which my husband loved. Also, pushy with leaving a tip for housekeeper, which we did, but we felt, just an envelope is enough. The Venmo sign was over killed. Do one or the other, not both. We come every year, couple of times a year, but we wouldnt stay there again.

We had a 3 night stay in a noisy dark room with a running toilet. We addressed the toilet issue with one of the innkeepers but the problem still persisted. Bathroom had one working bulb in a 4 bulb fixture. Shower was small and narrow. Room was near the stairwell so we heard creaking into the late night. Avoid Room 11.

Abalonia is a great location - walking distance to all my fav spots! The room was nice, floors are gorgeous hardwood. The only thing was the 3rd floor setting. It’s a long way up and a bit tight at the top. The room was small up there- and it seemed like we were one of a few guests so I’m not sure why we were put up in the tower. Ha!

Great location and very clean! Maintenance around property needs addressed and shower and sink were way too small. No fan in bathroom so room smelled moldy.

Last min booking! First of all outstanding location 5 min from everything including the beach! Cool perks, property has a salt water pool in the back garden and a jacuzzi, both new and really nice spaces! Also, free parking and small breakfast with coffee and fresh muffins! Now our room was very basic but clean and comfortable! On their website you can see better rooms some of which with private deck, probably in the new annex! Overall a great place to stay and not overpriced! I will definitely go back!

I experienced a wonderful visit to the area and this includes my stay at Abalonia Inn. Some interior/office modifications and landscape projects were happening but they did not interfere with my personal accommodations. The inn is conveniently located near, and just far enough away from, a hub of tourist activity. Very walkable, but people with mobility issues shall discover occasional challenges (I formerly worked in healthcare). Reportedly, the inn is under new ownership & management. Hospitable group. Customer service was fine and available, when needed. Within hours of my arrival, I was surprised by a contact from management that my room selection needed to be changed; something about Hotels.com/Expedia having incorrectly offered me the room I reserved(?). Fortunately, I did not have mobility issues that prevented me from staying on the second floor. It's important to note I packed light and used smaller luggage; older structures have narrower stairwells/hallways and, often, no elevator. Best qualities of my room: comfortable bed; excellent AC; good shower water pressure & temp.; roomy drawers dresser; no creaky floor; pleasant outdoor aesthetic. Other observations: small toilet bowl/seat; hangar rod hung low above coffee maker; no microwave. Additional: suggesting that in future, when staff clean the shower stall, reach the undersides of the rims, as well, due to residue buildup. Overall, I enjoyed my Abalonia Inn experience.

We visit Ogunquit at least twice a year and enjoy every trip here. We have stayed at the Abolinia years ago but I believe the owners have changed since then. Our most recent stay was this past weekend and it was wonderful. We need to give Keegan our greatest thanks for being so kind and helpful during our stay. Keep up the great work! Your parents should be so very proud of you! Thanks again!

Short walk to the beach and great location in town. The room was spotless and the amenities available were nice. It was nice that each room also had an outside sitting area. The staff could have been more knowledgeable and friendlier. Overall, I would definitely come back for a longer stay.

The hotel was so quaint and lovely. We stayed on the 3rd floor (no elevators). The room was so cute. The bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable and there is a flat screened tv. There was a fire pit, pool, and hot tub. Very cute place. Perfectly located to all shops and restaurants. All walkable from the hotel. It's the best spot to walk to the shops.

Enjoyed the location which is close to shopping, great restaurants and of course the beach! All within walking distance. Also while there we attended a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse which was outstanding!

This was my second time staying at The Abalonia and it was excellent just like last time. We really enjoyed the baked goods and coffee in the lobby. The hot tub is a great new addition! I love the location and the charm of this inn.

It was one of the cleanest places that I've ever stayed at. The help was very welcoming, and available for any questions that I had. The pastries that were offered each morning were wonderful. It was conveniently located so that it was possible to walk where ever you wanted to go.

Beautiful Old Inn in a perfect location. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub , even in October. Nice to have fresh bakery items and coffee, tea, etc in the office. Loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back!!

Great room for a great price - we even got upgraded to a king bed! Only thing is wish there was water in the room but not a dealbreaker, by any means. Cute little inn with nice pastries/coffee for breakfast too!

Super emplacement , hôtes très gentils . Cependant la chambre était extrêmement petite et humide, nous étions à l’étroit et aucunement insonorisée , nous entendions toutes les conversations comme si nous avions des invités dans notre chambre pour la modique somme de 825$ , 2 nuits .
