We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Also appreciated the towel warming rack, and the frosted bathroom windows. The room was very comfortable and quiet, as Grimston is a tiny village in a rural area. The inn’s on Grimston’s main road is convenient to nearby Happy Valley (wedding / event venue) and to sightseeing in Sandringham and beyond. The hosts were gracious and friendly. We will be happy to return when we are next in the area. PS. I would try to arrive at Grimston during daylight hours, if you are not used to driving in rural England with old, narrow roads.

Booked at last minute on way to office in Norwich, check in very easy and parked right outside. Room beautiful and very clean, popped to local pub for dinner. Can highly recomend!!

Our room was very, very clean; linens crisp and nice, soft towels. The breakfast was displayed beautifully; fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, fresh bread, homemade pastries, cereals, yogurts, juices. Greg and Jackie so welcoming and friendly!

Lovely hosts who were very accomodating and kind. Delicious breakfast offered and even an extra special gift as a birthday surprise. Room was spotless and certainly the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen. Clearly alot of care and pride for their business.

The Old Bell is a great location for visiting Sandringham House & surrounding area. The accomodation is spotless & beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, and the room quiet. The continental breakfast was great with many options, cereals, fresh bread, meats & fruit. The hosts were very friendly & helpful.

This hotel is immaculate, the room, the bathroom and everywhere else. It is really spotless: from the beddings to the towels. The window shutters and carpet are of exceptional quality! Lots of choices of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room! The small fridge and a hairdryer look brand new as well. Brilliant! If you look for a cosy hotel in Norfolk, "The Old Bell" is a sure destination.

owner was there to greet us, very welcoming and friendly, took us to room. Room was quite small for a double deluxe but was comfortable and clean. smelt clean. bathroom was clean, but no loo brush. shower was on the small side but had toiletries there and nice smelling fluffy white towels. towel rail was vertical, so nowhere to hang towels. mini fridge in room was a nice touch, fresh milk provided. no full length mirror, just one above chest of drawers. nice selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. clean cups, sparkling glasses and teaspoons, nice touch!

Beautifully kept, comfortable and spotless accommodation with convenient access to King’s Lynn and the surrounding area. Communication was excellent throughout, the breakfast was outstanding, and I would highly recommend The Old Bell to anyone visiting the area.

The property has been updated really tastefully and to a very high standard. Our room was spacious and perfectly appointed. The bed as super comfortable with crisp bed linen. Excellent continental breakfast and friendly hosts.

Room was lovely. Had everything you could need in and the staff were so helpful. Even before we came to stay they were helping me with taxis and any information I needed as we were staying there while going to a concert at Sandringham. My wife and I will definitely becoming back.

We were welcomed warmly by Greg who explained what we needed to know and showed to our room. The room is as nice as any room I have stayed in and I’ve stayed at the Mandarin Oriental!! The bedding was Luxurious and the bed wonderfully comfy. With tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk, I hope I have a reason to return. Absolutely 5 Stars

Lovely welcome & accommodating service from the owners. Room light & spacious. Great location, apart from woken at 7am one morning by delivery to shop opposite. Would recommend Mems in Kings Lynn for good value evening meal. Snettisham Beach great for Knot murmurations when the tide is mid-way in or out. (Be aware there are no toilets there, however.) Overall a great break😊

Absolutely fabulous. The property is finished to a very high standard and has lovely little personalised touches. The owners are very friendly and professional and not at all intrusive. Breakfast was superb too. Overall, we had a lovely experience and am certain we will return.

Excellent hosts, Jacqui and Greg. Certainly the nicest B+B we have stayed in for a long time, very comfortable and well equipped. Decor very neutral and modern. Certainly would not hesitate in returning. Thank you.

Cannot fault it. Our two night stay was very comfortable in every way. We were made to feel welcome and Greg even helped us to the room with our bags. Jackie was there at breakfast to serve drinks and toast and there was a good selection of help yourself continental breakfast items. Well placed to visit areas around it and Sandringham is only ten minutes away. We will definitely be back.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners friendly and accommodating. The property was strategically located for our activities, including Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Gardens, and the Hunstanton through to Wells Next to the Sea area. It was convenient to our ancestral homes in Swaffham and Deopham. Went to the Samphire just over 1/2 mile down the road for a nice dinner. Picked up a few items at the shop across the street. Met some friendly couples at breakfast.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners friendly and accommodating. Absolutely fabulous. The property is finished to a very high standard and has lovely little personalised touches. The owners are very friendly and professional and not at all intrusive. Breakfast was superb too. Overall, we had a lovely experience and am certain we will return.

We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Also appreciated the towel warming rack, and the frosted bathroom windows. The room was very comfortable and quiet, as Grimston is a tiny village in a rural area. The inn’s on Grimston’s main road is convenient to nearby Happy Valley (wedding / event venue) and to sightseeing in Sandringham and beyond. The hosts were gracious and friendly. We will be happy to return when we are next in the area. PS. I would try to arrive at Grimston during daylight hours, if you are not used to driving in rural England with old, narrow roads.

The Old Bell was great. Tastefully refurbished,conveniently situated to visit places of interest. Handy local convenience store/post office nearby. The owners Greg and Jackie were excellent hosts, nothing to much trouble, we would love to go back to West Norfolk again to visit more places and we’ll definitely be staying again in The Old Bell👍😘

The Old Bell is a great location for visiting Sandringham House & surrounding area. The accomodation is spotless & beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, and the room quiet. The continental breakfast was great with many options, cereals, fresh bread, meats & fruit. The hosts were very friendly & helpful.

Cannot fault it. Our two night stay was very comfortable in every way. We were made to feel welcome and Greg even helped us to the room with our bags. Jackie was there at breakfast to serve drinks and toast and there was a good selection of help yourself continental breakfast items. Well placed to visit areas around it and Sandringham is only ten minutes away. We will definitely be back.

The property was strategically located for our activities, including Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Gardens, and the Hunstanton through to Wells Next to the Sea area. It was convenient to our ancestral homes in Swaffham and Deopham. Went to the Samphire just over 1/2 mile down the road for a nice dinner. Picked up a few items at the shop across the street. Met some friendly couples at breakfast.

Lovely welcome & accommodating service from the owners. Room light & spacious. Great location, apart from woken at 7am one morning by delivery to shop opposite. Would recommend Mems in Kings Lynn for good value evening meal. Snettisham Beach great for Knot murmurations when the tide is mid-way in or out. (Be aware there are no toilets there, however.) Overall a great break😊

Our room was very, very clean; linens crisp and nice, soft towels. The breakfast was displayed beautifully; fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, fresh bread, homemade pastries, cereals, yogurts, juices. Greg and Jackie so welcoming and friendly!

We were given the warmest of welcomes by Greg and Jackie. The room was very stylish and everything in it was of very good quality. Continental breakfast was freshly prepared with warm croissants etc and a great selection. A great place to stay!!

The property has been updated really tastefully and to a very high standard. Our room was spacious and perfectly appointed. The bed as super comfortable with crisp bed linen. Excellent continental breakfast and friendly hosts.

Gorgeous room. Kind and friendly host. Good location that allows easy driving to beautiful beaches, great country houses and accessory to groceries around Kings Lynn. A hidden gem in North Norfolk. Easy parking.

By far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in, they’ve thought of everything! Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with White Company bedding, bedding smelled fresh unlike some where pillows smell fusty. Coffee bags, fresh milk (not UHT), cute little Dualit kettle, Noble Isle bathroom products, soft thick fluffy towels. I could go on - hats off to the owners you have nailed it. If I’m in the area again I would definitely return. Highly recommend 😊
