The hotel was pet friendly and even gave us some dog treats for our 2 pooches. They had a dog business area but no bags to pick-up poop. We used our own. Our room was nice, but I did overhear another person say their ac didn't work properly. Free breakfast was the best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during this vacation trip. Hotel is under remodeling so they set up two rooms near the lobby for breakfast. Location was ideal right off the interstate.

The property was under construction (Feb 7-8) which was not disclosed anywhere that I saw. Just would have been nice to have the heads up; and warning of toilets all lined in the hall and more when you open the elevator to your floor, also all around (which I know they can’t help) was under construction so it was a nightmare to maneuver around and get in and out of the parking lot. The pool it self was clean but all around was sooo dirty…. And it is an old building which you can see they’re working on things… and might look nice in the end….. our beds were clean (looking) but the chair looked and window pad looks dirty and gross (you need vinyl…. Not cloth… so you can wipe and sanitize and clean….) The floor had big gaps due to poor installation… of wrong measurements…. Maybe they aren’t done updating the room… there was a ton of visible dust between the tiny tv and little closet (and I’m not tall and could see if) The blow dryer burnt my hand and is a fire hazard (which I forgot to tell the front desk) They also double charged me…. I paid through Expedia and I see the hotel itself charged me too The breakfast was decent but they didn’t have any milk for the cereal….. Needless to say we were just passing through after a 14 hr drive from Florida to home and we were disappointed…..thankfully we weren’t staying there too long

The parking lot spaces are narrow and there are signs that say park at your own risk. My first night was fine (in 1st room). The second (un-planned night in a different room), had a roach in it that I killed. I took a picture and showed it to the desk and was upgraded to a better room on different floor, it was midnight 30 and I was VERY tired so I took it. Put everything on the table and not the floor. Checked the room very thoroughly and went to bed. Other than that. It was a typical motel. It is over all nice outside and the pool area, didn’t use those. And waffle style breakfast.

Room smells like mildew and smoke. Room felt damp including sheets. Gob of hair stuck to wall next to garbage. No customer service skills at check in. I was not greeted at check in and had to slide down the desk and stand and wait within eye sight while he sat finishing what he was doing before he left came out. When we left this morning the woman at the desk did not say a word as we walked right past her. It is not that hard to require your staff to greet your guests with "Hi are you here to check in?" Or "Hi. How can I help you?" And a simple "Thanks for staying with us." Or "Have a great day." Instead we were left feeling disappointed and disgusted. We did not want to shower or eat the breakfast there. Only reason I\'m giving 2 stars is nothing was broken and i could smell the bleach on the sheets so I knew they were clean. Wondering how much mold we inhaled all night, though.

The home had an odor when we walked in, I was surprised because the lobby smells so good. The bathroom could use a good cleaning ( room 121) wherever the tile met the wall looked moldy,especially by the tub.

The only issue is small cramped rooms. I was to get king size instead I got queen. Not much room in Bathroom to put stuff on. Looks like there doing some remodeling which was fine. The pool should have been an outdoor pool not indoors.

Our room was in the end of the first floor, we could hear all the coming in and out of other guest with the door banging. Thin walls so can also hear the alarm clock from next door. We did not sleep well.

Room had a musty stale smell, floors buckled when you walked on ( I suspect water damage that wasn’t properly resolved). No usb outlets to charge devices and limited outlets 2 or 3. When checking in and out although there were extra staff present no one offered to hold manual entrance doors to assist with luggage on cart that’s steerable from 1 end.

Excellent staff, very nice, but wifi in room did not work, telephone did not work, refrigerator was warm, but freezer froze over, unable to use. Staff attempted to give backup codes for wifi, still did not work. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hallway carpet needs replaced, stained throughout. Overall, would only stay again if needed.

I did not sleep most of the night since the next room had the TV going all night long. The family was nice, but they left the TV on all night with a relatively loud volume. The wall between rooms have little insulation so noise travels. There is a lot of not so well-maintained little things that make a room feel comfortable. We noticed items repaired by others that performed poor work, and it shows with the condition of the entrance door, bathroom and shower. I was disappointed in the level of service of the property and room conditions for the money paid. Definite not value-for-money and I do not recommend other staying at this hotel. My apologies about the statements, but it seems as if upper management does not care about premise/hallway/room appearance based on customer perception from what they see.

Night front desk woman named Laura made us feel welcome and was extremely friendly. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast. We were able to park our car hauler and truck as hotel was not full. RV/bus parking that is listed on website is not available on the premises. Drive around area in the back might fit 2 trailers at most.

We stay here frequently. Power outages happen a lot where we live, and we always stay at Microtel. They're close, cheap, convenient & affordable. Lori at the front desk is always fabulous, she makes this hotel a 10/10. She always has fresh baked cookies for us, and she remembers my family from previous stays. She's always warm, friendly & welcoming.

I had to wait close to 10 minutes while a person in front of me had to get his room fixed. This wasn't the bad part. Breakfast wasn't great. Not up to what I've seen in the past. But they were doing construction so that can be considered. The bad part-I rented 2 rooms I had to keep putting my credit card in because they were training a new clerk. Stay was nice. But we had a bad expierence on housekeeping. Saturday we asked staff to change sheets. We came back and room was cleaned, but sheet was not changed. Sunday we stripped sheets off bed to force staff to provide new sheets. We even spoke to housekeeper about towels. We came back late and nothing was done. Beds not made, no new towels and mo.new toilet paper. Called down and fresh towels and sheet was brought up. $20 was knocked off the bill. Stay was a bit disappointed. Staff manager really apologize and tried to help.

Very happy with this hotel. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly. We checked in, and the toilet wouldn't quit running in our room, so before we moved anything in, I went to the front desk and she immediately moved us to a different room quickly. The breakfast was also really good. Waffles, but also eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Very good. When we checked out they gave my husband a complimentary water with a sticker thanking us for the stay with my name printed on it. Extra, nice, personal touch.

The staff was super friendly and obviously making an effort: fresh cookie on arrival, water bottle upon checkout. The room was dated, but very clean and comfortable. Halls were not well swept. It appeared some areas were being updated, so that’s promising!

The property could use a little TLC but it was a good value for the price. Cookies at check in and water at check out was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Walmart and a few restaurants walking distance. The room was clean and I felt safe. I was traveling solo so I didn't mind but FYI, the rooms are extremely small.

We stayed the fourth of july weekend. We played a mini trip to be close to laurel lake! We were super close, plenty of food options, walmart close, dollar tree close. Some you can even walk too. Our room was smoke free which i asked for. Breakfast was decent, i do wish they offered fruit. HOWEVER, reflecting the variety food they did offer was good and they are in the middle of renovation. My only complaint is the firealarm went off twice, once in the middle of the night and once during the day. We had a really good stay. Very clean, nice stay. We woll definitely stay again.

Check in was easy (online) front desk lady was friendly. They gave us chocolate chip cookies at check in. Our room was basic, but clean. Looks like they were in the process of renovating. Didn't see any vending machines, but they sell drinks/snacks at front desk. Free breakfast was a little disappointing. First morning they were out of potatoes when we went and second morning they were out of sausage. Biscuits (for biscuits and gravy) were hard. Orange juice was bitter/watery. We would stay again, it Was fine for what we needed.

Excellent staff, very nice, but wifi in room did not work, telephone did not work, refrigerator was warm, but freezer froze over, unable to use. Staff attempted to give backup codes for wifi, still did not work. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hallway carpet needs replaced, stained throughout. Overall, would only stay again if needed.

The first person we encountered at the front desk was super friendly and efficient along with all the other people we met at the front desk. The breakfast was really good with good options on what to eat. My favorite thing was the cheese omelette. Our room was nice and clean smelled great and the beds were super comfortable. The indoor heated pool was clean and really refreshing after being in the car for hours! If we ever pass through London again I will definitely be staying at the Microtel again!

Can tell it's an older hotel that is being updated but using the cheapest materials - could feel the laminate flooring wobble when you stepped on it and part of the shower head was coming off the wall. No space on the the bathroom sink but there's a large sink in the bedroom area. Convenient location for a on-the-way-home stop. Decent selection of items on the breakfast bar but limited seating and it was busy when we stopped by and there were no plates or silverware out. Staff were very friendly.

Wish they would finish a floor completely before allowing guests to stay. The door did not fit back into the frame and was super loud when it would rub against it. The complimentary laundry machine was broken. No toilet paper was left inside the room by housekeeping and I struggled with the tv, kept turning off and disconnecting itself from the hdmi port.
