Nice hotel. We were going on a one day train ride with Potomac Eagle railroad in Romney, which was about a half an hour away. There weren’t a lot of hotels to choose from and we were kind of hesitant, but it turned out great. Very friendly staff & the rooms were clean. Bed was comfy! They had coffee and snacks available at all times. Breakfast was good too.

At first I was disappointed at how small the workout facility was. But the treadmill was very modern and I didn't see anyone except me and my boyfriend using it. The included breakfast was good, with hot items and waffles as well as juice and cereal. And the towels were very soft--something that I don't find at expensive hotels. A very basic place to stay, but with all required amenities.

Had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the location of our room next to the elevator and ice machine. Ice machine was very noisy. People getting off the elevator at 1:00 am.,talking very loudly. The loud guests are no reflection on Best Western or its staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Always a great stay at SureStay.My accommodation were different from what I had requested but the staff at SsureStay went far beyond my expectations to straighten out the situation.Incredible service.For example the snack machine wasn’t working so one of the staff members had some chips and pretzels in her office and politely gave my wife and I some. She and the other staff members service to their customers were OUTSTANDING!!. I WILL ALWAYS stay at SureStay when I am in town.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I stay at this hotel every few months and have tried other ones in the multi county area. To me, this is the best choice regardless of price. Well maintained, clean, quiet and safe. Decent breakfast included. I also like a Walmart store within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and on-top of everything. fresh baked cookies adds a nice personal touch. Hotel itself is standard, well kept, and clean. Ample parking, and within walking distance of a couple restaurants and a walmart, having a car here is best. A bit pricy for a rual small town, but not expensive.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel it was clean it even smelled clean . We loved the room the staff were friendly also so many things close to the hotel shopping , eating we would highly recommend staying here to others . Happy guest here :)

We have stayed at this location four or five times. Never a problem. The only complaint; this time; there were a few people staying there smoking weed in the building. It stank up the second floor and elevator. Management said they would address it.

Very clean hotel. Not just the room but the entire hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were modernized. Very good hotel. Would stay again. There's not much around the hotel but walmart is very close.

Had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the location of our room next to the elevator and ice machine. Ice machine was very noisy. The hotel is very nice, looks and feels new. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a nicer experience.

In over 70 years of travel, having stayed at hundreds of hotels in over 20 countries, never have I gotten Zero sleep due to the LOUD guests in the room next door. Loud talking, TV on Loud all night long. Complained at the desk twice. No help.

I felt that the rooms were small. We had some bad neighbors that were very noisy. It wasn't a sketchy place. Other than our noisy neighbors it was a nice place in a very nice area.

The place used to be a microtel and got bought out by best western. The rooms are similar to Microtel, small, but they are clean and has a microwave, fridge and tv. The location is great and is close to a Walmart and restaurants in keyser. Will definitely stay here again.

We showed up to check in and were informed there was no room for us. The hotel manager did not offer to find an alternate solution nor to assist with getting us a refund. Not happy.

I stay at this hotel every few months and have tried other ones in the multi county area. To me, this is the best choice regardless of price. Well maintained, clean, quiet and safe. Decent breakfast included. I also like a Walmart store within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and on-top of everything. fresh baked cookies adds a nice personal touch. Hotel itself is standard, well kept, and clean. Ample parking, and within walking distance of a couple restaurants and a walmart, having a car here is best. A bit pricy for a rual small town, but not expensive.

Nice hotel. We were going on a one day train ride with Potomac Eagle railroad in Romney, which was about a half an hour away. There weren’t a lot of hotels to choose from and we were kind of hesitant, but it turned out great. Very friendly staff & the rooms were clean. Bed was comfy! They had coffee and snacks available at all times. Breakfast was good too.

We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family and have always been treated well by staff. My only "complaint" is the lack of choices for breakfast. We have stayed at other Surestays/Best Western brand hotels and have had a wider selection/fresher options.

I traveled alone with my two young sons to the train in Romney, and his hotel option was clean, safe, welcoming and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the cookies at checkin were a fun surprise! A wonderful option where there are only a few hotels.

Front desk lady was super helpful and nice, immediately helped us with out toilet issues. First toilet was dirty and then it clogged, no maintenance so they brought us a plunger had to use it multiple times, was able to get some Lysol cleaning wipes from front desk to clean the toilet.

The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and up to date. The breakfast was a lot better than a continental but not up to what we received from Tru.

We stayed here for one night while we went to the Potomac Eagle train ride. The hotel was clean, quiet and had good parking. Breakfast was good, and it was an overall excellent stay. It's not too far from Romney (30 scenic minutes), WV where there are quite a few local things to see. The Botique on Main, the Red Bird Cafe and the Artisans CoOp were highlights of our visit. You can also check out the Old Fort Mill trenches from the civil war, and the Indian Mound cemetery. Stonewall Jackson's headquarters are also located in Romney.

Disappointing stay and very little sleep. The room's refrigerator made a loud knocking sound all night. The bed sheets kept slipping off causing us to fix them several times in the middle of the night. On top of that, there was zero housekeeping. We had to empty our own trash and walk to the front desk for clean towels. We also asked for new sheets that weren't so stretched out but never received them. We were NOT notified at the time of booking that housekeeping services would be suspended for the holiday. Having to pay more than $200 plus a $25 fee for early check-in, only to experience multiple issues is deeply frustrating. Management should issue a refund for at least one night. Would not recommend.
