We hired a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults. The apartment was nice and clean and spacious. It was equipped with most amenities such as cooking etc. Only downside for us was that we were given the room on 2nd floor which could only be accessed through stairs. Being seniors this was rather uncomfortable for us! Otherwise it was all good and we recommend this apartment for a comfortable stay.

Check in was delayed as we had to wait for the keys to be returned from previous guest. This was way after check out time and was at 430pm. The parking is tight and not a lot of space to turn around. The room smelt as if someone had just made curry. There was no linen to make up spare bed even though they were aware of number of guests, had to go back to reception and get the linen. The cleanliness of the rooms was sub par, other peoples hair evident in bathrom, shower and on besdside table. Property is outdated and needs upgrading. Smudges all over walls, dirty looking and patchy carpets. They also need to invest in decent heating and cooling. One split system to do the whole apartment is inadequate. Pedestal fan for cooling and one oil bar heater. The only positive was the receptionist who was friendly and helpful.

Very convenient for museums & other sights. Helpful to have undercover car park. Very quiet & close to Kingston village & for walks along the lake & Telopea parkland. Found stairs difficult. Would book a ground floor next time. TV could not show ch 7.

There were marks all over the walls, like they had people with dirty hands wipe them all over the walls and not clean them, the worst was someone had picked their nose, wiped it on the wall beside the toilet and it had not been cleaned off, made my wife sick. Was walking distance to the pub at least, the rest was gross.

The AC was not on when arrived, and it was 35° outside, just one AC unit who took years to cool down a little bit. Also the car0et was not vacum properly and they did have some dead flyes near the windows. Really expensive for what we have. Parking free inside permises

On arrival we accepted a room on the 2nd floor as walking up to the 3rd floor was a problem due to a leg injury. We found our apartment tired, frayed carpet and the bathroom had missed a clean, the shower need a good scrub down, this was disappointing.

We arrived for our 2pm check in and was advised the apartment was not ready yet and we had to wait until 3:15pm to enter the room, Quilts were dirty, kitchen benches where dirty, stained sofa bed. The apartment was not serviced once, we had to ask for clean towels each day.

The two bedroom apartment was comfortable. But, the flat screen TV had no antenna cable and was not a smart TV, so was basically inoperable. I could not see a working antenna connection into the apartment either. In the 21st Century, a working TV is not too much to ask for - in fact the offer of a streaming movie service isn't too expensive either - or a smart TV and allow the customer to use their streaming service if an antenna and free to air is too hard. In the bathroom the extractor fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time - it was blocked with dust. While there was one air conditioner for the whole apartment, I think the owner could invest in small aircon units in each bedroom - it isn't that great a cost versus what they likely make in nightly rates. They had placed a small heater in the main bedroom that was effective, but would not offer cooling. I do not think the apartment has had much spent on it since it was built 35 years ago. As there was no one on reception after about 5:30pm and again no one there at check-out time (10am), these issues could not be addressed.

They had placed a small heater in the main bedroom that was effective, but would not offer cooling. I do not think the apartment has had much spent on it since it was built 35 years ago. As there was no one on reception after about 5:30pm and again no one there at check-out time (10am), these issues could not be addressed.

We booked a room, tried to check in at 5.30pm, and it wasn't available. Nobody called to let us know or anything, and nobody could tell us when the replacement room at Adina would be ready. We ended up booking elsewhere just to have some security of accommodation. Front desk person was very nice and sympathetic but the whole thing was very frustrating. I certainly won't book again since it doesn't seem to actually guarantee me anywhere to stay. Still waiting for me refund - had paid up front. Apparently they haven't yet confirmed with Expedia, so they still have my money. Disappointing experience all round.

Check in was delayed as we had to wait for the keys to be returned from previous guest. This was way after check out time and was at 430pm. The parking is tight and not a lot of space to turn around. The room smelt as if someone had just made curry. There was no linen to make up spare bed even though they were aware of number of guests, had to go back to reception and get the linen. The cleanliness of the rooms was sub par, other peoples hair evident in bathrom, shower and on besdside table. Property is outdated and needs upgrading. Smudges all over walls, dirty looking and patchy carpets. They also need to invest in decent heating and cooling. One split system to do the whole apartment is inadequate. Pedestal fan for cooling and one oil bar heater. The only positive was the receptionist who was friendly and helpful.

GOOD POINTS - Central to alot, reception staff friendly, easy to get a car park and a quite location. BAD POINTS - I stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment with my family and housekeeping didnt come at all our whole stay. I constantly had to keep going to reception every afternoon before they left for the day to ask for more clean towels, toilet paper ect. I had to ask reception on day #3 where i could dispose of our rubbish as our bin was full. Shower temperature was constantly (hot, cold, hot). Kitchen utensils very limited (i had to go and buy bowls so my kids could have their breakfast of a morning) among other basic essentials. Shower gel bottle in the bathroom was completely empty on arrive. Bedding was poor (just a cheap doona) and they all had stains on them. Couldnt even find the a.c remote (and no ceiling fans there). In the photos they show seating for the balcony (but no seating on ours provided). Wifi constantly buffering.

The owner just walked in no knock on the door nothing whilst i was on couch sort of asleep and said they had a noise complaints and was there a party thats an invasion of privacy and security in my opinion that it was not the way to approach the complaint because there was no party and i dnt understand what the noise was about but just the way that the owner or manager whatever just let himself in was completely out of line and rude definitely a deterrent of coming here to stay again

We arrived for our 2pm check in and was advised the apartment was not ready yet and we had to wait until 3:15pm to enter the room, Quilts were dirty, kitchen benches where dirty, stained sofa bed. The apartment was not serviced once, we had to ask for clean towels each day.

Great location, grocery and dinning options are just a short walk away. Lake Burley Griffin is an easy 10 minute walk. All other attractions in Canberra are a 15 minute drive at most. The apartment complex is well maintained and in a quiet area. The staff are friendly and professional, always willing to help. The room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed for a family of 4. Will definitely return when we next visit Canberra.

The room was fine. What was not fine was the insistence that I send personal ID docs (passport, driv lic, etc) and credit card details to them via email, to confirm my identity. Email is simply not secure - this is a huge security hole, and I am not at all confident that my data is secure. It also breaks the PCI DSS credit card security rules set down by the credit card brands. Hotels.com should not be associating with properties which do this. When I protested to the hotel's call centre, and asked for a cancellation/refund, I was told that wasn't possible.

Location is great, walking distance to the pub and Kingston with plenty of restaurants and shops. We did book for 5 though and only had beds for 4. TV was old so no ability to stream which killed movie night plans

Apartment was ok but not amazing. No dishwashing liquid to wash up and microwave did not work. Most dishes needed rewashing before use. Thin walls so could hear other apartments. Spacious but dated. Did the job but wouldn’t go back.
