A real gem of a hotel. Amazing views across the bay. Service was incredible, nothing too much trouble. All the team were very friendly whenever you saw them around the hotel. Walkable to local beaches and restaurants. Pool was spotless and grounds well cared for. I would definately revisit!!

Super gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Pool. Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit griechischem Flair und Blick auf die Bucht. Sehr freundlicher Service. In Kombination mit einem Mietwagen eine gute Base um die Insel und die schönen Strände in der Umgebung zu erkunden.

Das Hotel „Pela Mare“ war für uns (Elternteil mit 2 Teenagern) super. Großer, wirklich großer Pool, der täglich gereinigt wird, genügend Liegen und sehr schöne Rasenfläche. Gigantischer Ausblick auf das Umland und die beiden Buchten! Der Weg zu den Buchten beträgt zu Fuß bergab rund 15 Minuten, für den Rückweg haben wir abends dann aber ein Taxi genommen (hatten keinen Mietwagen). Der Preis hierfür war völlig okay! Das Frühstück wird am Pool in Buffetform angeboten und ist sehr abwechslungsreich! Mittags gibt es dort auch kleine Snacks, für ein Abendessen muss man aber entweder ein wenig zum nächsten Restaurant laufen (ca. 5 Minuten). Zimmer sind „einfach“ aber sehr sauber, verfügen über eine Klimaanlage und einen Safe und werden alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Kühlschrank ist vorhanden!! Wir waren sehr zufrieden!!

We had a balcony room over looking the shores of Agia Pelagia and Ligaria beaches. The resort pool was a great place for a quiet afternoon. The poolside eatery was excellent, serving a great breakfast. I would not hesitate to book again.

Pela Mare hat uns von Tag eins schon gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel waren alle super freundlich, haben einen alles Wissenswerte erklärt und hatten immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Die Unterkunft war gemütlich gestaltet und alles sauber, man fühlte sich gleich heimisch und wohl. Wer keine überlaufenden Hotels mag, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können es jeden empfehlen

Wir haben eine Woche im Pela Mare verbracht. Es hat uns hier außerordentlich gut gefallen. Die Hilfsbereitschaft, Kompetenz, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, dem Hauskeeping und dem Restaurant war außergewöhnlich. Ein gutgelauntes „Kalimera“ empfing uns morgens zum Frühstück von Maria, der immer freundlichen Restaurantleiterin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen.
Wir haben eine Woche im Pela Mare verbracht. Es hat uns hier außerordentlich gut gefallen. It wasn’t bad. Except that we were put in an area where family with kid who constantly crying. They should be group family with kids together so others can enjoyed the day better. Garbage should be picked up daily not every second day or when told.

Tres bon acceuil au sein de l'etablissement qui dispose d'une belle vue. Excellent petit dejeuner. A l'arrivée, nous avons toutefois demandé a changer de chambre en raison du bruit des climatiseurs de l'hotel voisin. Le niveau etaut donc inferieur a la réservation initiale.

This is a lovely small hotel with fabulous views of the countryside and sea. We spent a week here and chose a deluxe suite which had a bedroom and a separate living room with a dual aspect balcony directly overlooking the sea. The beach is about 15 minute walk away and the area is very quiet. If you want rest and relaxation this is for you. The hotel is made up of several blocks of apartment type rooms with their own front door. There is a lovely pool and the grounds are well maintained. As in other reviews we found the breakfasts amazing, filled with local produce and home baking. Most other residents had car rentals but we got the local bus into Heraklion which stops outside the hotel four times a day. The staff are really friendly and helpful and left us vases of flowers like jasmine from the grounds which we really appreciated. We had a lovely relaxing break and I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was top notch. The see view from our room was fantastic. The only thing i would recommend for this hotel to be 5-star is sound proofing of the bathroom wall and upgrade the doors, both bedroom and bathroom. Thank you!

Fantastic view from our room the breakfast was amazing and the staff were wonderful the only thing I would say is to ask where your room is we had a lot of stairs and whilst the staff were amazing and carried our bags up when we left it was early and we had to carry our bags down

Housekeeper Poppy is exceptionally wonderful. Maria at the breakfast bar is always happy to help. Era il mio quarto soggiorno in tre anni ed era sempre andato tutto bene. Se provate a selezionare qualunque camera per una o due persone, noterete che la differenza di prezzo fra single e double occupancy e' di 3 o 5 EUR. Io avevo prenotato e pagato una Junior Suite single occupancy e poi ho comunicato che volevo modificare a double occupancy. Mi hanno chiesto di pagare una rack rate di 35 EUR a notte per la seconda persona, quando in realta' non c'e' mai un tale supplemento . Quando ho provato a spiegarglielo Giorgos alla reception mi ha urlato in faccia dicendo che non intendeva discutere oltre, quando era chiaro anche facendo una simulazione online che la differenza fra single e double occupancy era al massimo di 5 EUR. Sono rimasta molto delusa e naturalmente non ci tornero' mai piu' per il modo in cui sono stata trattata.

Beautiful little boutique hotel for my 7 day stay in Crete! Staff very welcoming from the moment I’ve arrived till the moment I checked out to the airport. Everyone welcomed me with a smile and always asking me if I need any help . Wir haben eine Woche im Pela Mare verbracht. Es hat uns hier außerordentlich gut gefallen. Die Hilfsbereitschaft, Kompetenz, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, dem Hauskeeping und dem Restaurant war außergewöhnlich. Ein gutgelauntes „Kalimera“ empfing uns morgens zum Frühstück von Maria, der immer freundlichen Restaurantleiterin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen.

This beautiful hotel is situated in an excellent location overlooking the sea, just 25 mins drive from Heraklion airport. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and all of them work extremely hard to cater to their guests every need. Apart from the tranquillity and the amazing views, the best thing about this hotel is the fact that it has just the right number of rooms to provide its guests with the space needed to enjoy it without ever feeling overcrowded. You'll never struggle to get a sunbed during the day or a table for dinner, even during peak season. I would definitely recommend the Pela Mare to anyone visiting the area.

We had a balcony room over looking the shores of Agia Pelagia and Ligaria beaches. The resort pool was a great place for a quiet afternoon. The poolside eatery was excellent, serving a great breakfast. I would not hesitate to book again.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel, gerade die Außenanlagen ist sehr schön. Die Gastronomie, vor allem das Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit einem Auto, welches kostenfrei geparkt werden kann, konnte man die Gegend gut erkunden. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. :)

Sophia and George at the front desk were more than helpful with all the information we could’ve asked for The room was clean and comfortable the location and view is amazing. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the entire Valley and sea stunning . It was surprisingly quiet The fact that a full breakfast was included was a big bonus.

We stayed at the Pela Mare Hotel for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. We arrived late for check-in, and the manager, Giorgos, was waiting for us. He showed us to our room and even helped with our heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the hill. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and we spent our evenings on the balcony watching the lights of distant ships moving across the water, as well as the stunning changing colours of the sea and the charming coastal town. There are sandy clean beaches in the area. The hotel also provides a complimentary breakfast each morning. During our stay, we had many questions, and Giorgos kindly gave us useful recommendations about places to visit and even calculated the best time for us to leave for the airport. Giorgos naturally possesses excellent communication and hospitality skills, and it was always a pleasure to see his warm smile. Thank you, Giorgos — we will definitely return to the Pela Mare in the future.
