This is a very basic hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable but it is a basic hotel. It does offer breakfast which is limited for an added 12 euro per person. The reception staff were helpful. There are ample free parking spots. The area is slightly further out from Manheim so it is useful to have a car if visiting as taxis are expensive. Otherwise a very basic hotel which provides a clean room but not a huge amount else.

A little hard to find actual hotel as signage is small. Otherwise very pleased large comfortable bedroom efficient staff and a good Chinese based restaurant with a good variety of non Chinese food.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was an der ein oder anderen Stelle auch entsprechend erkennbar ist. Dafür hat es mit seinem freundlichen und engagierten Personal, den großen Zimmern, der kostenfreien Tiefgarage und dem sehr guten Frühstück ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I wouldn't take off points for anything. Unlike hotels in the U.S. their European counterparts do not have items such as irons/ironing boards or A/C in the rooms. They're location is walking distance from the main part of town as in a 20 minute walk. But the hotel is happy to call a cab for you. They have a nice breakfast buffet and there is a Chinese restaurant on the property which has a good lunch and dinner buffet. And there is a restaurant/bar mere steps outside the front entrance which stays open late. The area around the hotel is a commercial area but not in a bad way.

Hotel völlig in Ordnung für eine Durchreise. Parkmöglichkeiten genügend vor dem Hotel, keine extra Buchung notwendig.

Positiv: Hotel bietet eine kostenlose Tiefgarage. Unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken. Nettes Personal. Gute, breite Betten. Großes und sauberes Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Gutes Frühstück mit Aussicht 6.Stock. Negativ: Kopfkissen sollten zeitnah ersetzt werden. Etwas abgewohnt (noch OK) Dusche in Badewanne, etwas eng und für Menschen mit Handikap schwierig.

Hockenheim waren in meinen Augen sehr gut. Betten waren bequem, nur die Kissen sind wie auch hin und wieder in teureren Hotels nicht die Besten. Kontra= Die Rezeption ist sehr schön, aber dann steigt man in den Aufzug und da sieht man schon, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Zimmer an sich ist ok, wenn man keine ohne Ansprüche hat. Der Teppich ist schon teilweise sehr in die Jahre bekommen, aber ist noch ok. Was negativ aufgefallen ist, war das Badzimmer!! Im ersten Blick schön, aber auf den zweiten Blick waren am Waschbecken alte und dreckige Fugen auch in der Badewanne zeigte sich am Rand viele Ablagerungen , dadurch wirkte es schmuddelig und ungepflegt!! Der Wasserhahn in der Dusche war so fragile und wackelig man traute sich ihn kaum zu nutzen, dass war sehr negativ. Sowas sollte heutzutage nicht mehr sehr, auch wenn das Hotel etwas älter ist, sollte alles fest und ohne Bedenken nutzbar sein. Immerhin zählt man ja auch nicht nur 50€ für eine Nacht.

The cleanliness was poor. Unfortunately, the room smelled of smoke, likely because someone had smoked in the bathroom. Additionally, both the room and the building need maintenance.

Good price,20 mins to Schwetzingen palace by foot, rewe and other supermarkets are nearby, the front view is lovely also the staff is friendly,overall experience is good,only the bathroom wasn't clean as expected and there was hair on the bed sheets.

The WiFi had issues all week, the room was dirty and had bugs in it, the staff were rude and unhelpful (except for Sara), the breakfast was overpriced and had limited options. I will never stay there again.

First room was a smoking room and smelled terrible. Changed us to a non-smoking room, which was better. Not sure why you still even have smoking rooms in this day, but that's Germany for you. Breakfast reviews were raving, but we found it to be barely worth the money and absolutely average quality with a small selection.

Im Bad waren kotflecken an der wand, an der decke ebenfalls diverse flecken, im bad ist die Beleuchtung schlecht, im zimmer sind die gardienen und vorhänge verschmutzt. Die bettlaken ohne gummi, sodass sie sich sofort lösen, sobald man im bett liegt. Sowie auch die bettwäsche die keine knöpfe hat und auch die kissen und die decke die extrem vergilbt und verschmutzt aussah rausschaute. Im zimmer ist Teppichboden, welches mit sowieso immer ein unreines gefühl gibt. Hausschuhe hatte ich zum glück selber mitgenommen.

Positiv: Zimmer/ Bett war ok / funktional und großzügig. Es war sehr sauber. Sehr schöne weiche Handtücher. Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Toller Blick aus dem 5. Stock. Frühstück schöner Raum mit tollem Blick und gute Auswahl. Freundliches Personal und freundliche Putzkräfte. Frühstück bis 11 Uhr, Checkout bis 12 Uhr. Negativ: Zwei Aufzüge, einer defekt, obwohl Hotel ziemlich voll. Keine Klimaanlage, hatte Zimmer zur Straße raus - bei Fenster auf hörte man Samstag Nacht bis tief in die Nacht wummernde Bässe von der Bar darunter. Im Badezimmer Renovierungsstau: Waschbecken floss nicht ab. Toilettenpapier rutscht ständig vom (schiefen) Halter. Dusche: Knopf zum Umstellen auf Handbrause festgeklebt (festgerostet?), umstellen nur mit extremem Kraftaufwand möglich. Dusche in der Badewanne, aber Glaswand schließt nicht mit der Wand ab: Durch den Spalt läuft das Wasser auf den Boden. Auf dem Boden sind keine echten Fließen sondern geklebte Plastikfließen, da lief das Wasser darunter, so dass ich es nicht mal richtig aufwischen konnte. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt!!! Und keine Seife auf dem Zimmer. Dafür habe ich für das Zimmer last minute 230 € ohne F bezahlt! (war eine Last Minute-Buchung für das Placebo-Konzert). Ich habe mich noch selten für so viel Geld so viel aufgeregt. Ich habe die Mängel im Badezimmer beim Auschecken mitgeteilt, ich war nur eine ÜN dort. Due Rezeptionistin hat sich für die Hinweise bedankt.

The hotel is, different from the beautiful pictures, in an industrial area. So if you are looking for a nice view, the car dealership and parking lot. I’ve complained several times about terrible condition a quality of the mattress of room *48 but nobody felt responsible to change. Light in the room didn’t work. Reception was not occupied most of the time so no help from this side. Breakfast place was nice. Just the long Que for the one and only coffee machine was very long. If you are looking for Hilton quality, look elsewhere. If your expectations are not that high, this hotel is, although the previous comments, ok.

Receptionist made check in experience very easy with fluent English. He was also friendly and helpful with local facilities and travel advice. This all made for a lovely experience and a great visit to the local brauhaus, which was within easy 15 minute walking distance (definitely walk and leave car at hotel). Sweets and toy duck for child were a lovely treat, thank you.

Leider sehr unmotiviertes Personal am Empfang. Man hält sich nicht an Angaben. Check-in war ab 14.00 Uhr angegeben, aber im Hotel wurde behauptet es sei ab 15.00 Uhr. Dasselbe für den Check-out. Es war angegeben bis 12.00 Uhr und dann war es doch bis spätestens 11.00 Uhr. Das Personal war mit den vielen Gästen (aufgrund AC/DC Konzert) sichtlich überfordert. Im Zimmer gab es Ecken und Ablagen, die vermutlich schon länger nicht mehr abgestaubt wurden. Sogar ein voller Aschenbecher befand sich im Zimmer. Einfach ein No-Go! Und noch schlimmer machte es die Tatsache, dass sich das Personal nicht einmal entschuldigte, wenn man es ihnen sagt. Beim Checkout verzichtet man auch darauf zu fragen, ob alles gut gegangen sei. Und das bei über 200 Euro für eine Nacht!

Sauberes, gepflegtes und mit sehr freundlichem Personal ausgestattetes Hotel in industrieller/gewerblicher Umgebung. Bei mir hat alles gepasst! Wenn ich wieder in Schwetzingen übernachten muss, meine erste Wahl.

Im Gewerbegebiet,aber v.a. mit Zimmer zum Innenhof sehr leise.Altstadt und Schloss fußläufig erreichbar

Checkin hat gut geklappt,freundlich.Parken gratis,super.Hatten 2 Übernachtungen ohne Frühstück. Bett war groß und sehr bequem.Ringsherum gab es mehrere Geschäfte und zum Essen.Hatten ein Doppelzimmer,alles ok,ein Nachtisch mehr wäre gut.Zur Innenstadt war es nicht weit.

Lovely staff, big rooms and semi modern. Not the most comfy bed and awful pillows. But for the price it was decent. Close enough to walk to the old town/centre within 15 mins and the train station is 10min walk away too.

Super location to visit the sites that we were interested in. Convenient grocery near by.

Tolles Zimmer und super Frühstücksbuffet

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig für den Preis, die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Das Personal am Empfang und die Dame, welche den Frühstücksraum organisiert, macht einen super Job. Preis-Leistung passt, wir kommen wieder.

Leider war das Komfort DZ mit großen Betten nur einfaches, bei dem die Belegung mit 3 Personen unmöglich war. Dieses Zimmer hätte gar nicht gebucht werden dürfen auf der Plattform!!! Diese Kritik trift genauso für Expedia zu!!! Frühstück mit ALTEM GEBÄCK von VORTAG!!!!
