Marmara Guesthouse

Our short stay at Marmara Guesthouse was superb, and makes us want to return for longer next time! Fabulous staff who could not be more patient, gracious and helpful; one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I've had in 5 decades of international travel; and the perfect location for seeing the central sights of Istanbul while also feeling slightly off the beaten track. Our room had a lovely sea view, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. Mostly, the staff were just wonderful and welcoming. Marmara Guesthouse is highly recommended. Tessekur ederim!

This hotel is very well located, less than a 10-minute walk from Plaza Sultanahmet and just 2 minutes from a wide variety of restaurants. The breakfast was extensive, offering plenty of options to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and clean, making for a pleasant stay. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Overall, a great choice for its location and comfort.

The breakfast was indeed an amazing feast of Turkish delights!!! And the terrace overlooks the Bodphorus! Beautiful! The staff were very friendly and helpful!
