Basic amenities, shared bathroom and toilet. Good water supply and hot water available. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier which are easy to use. Just bring own laundry soap and fabric conditioner. The lake view room that we had is a bit small size for 4 guests but it’s okay as we are there only to sleep. The mattress has done its time and I think needs replacing. Stunning views of the lake and surrounding areas from your balcony. We had a chance to swim in the lake, which is just few steps from the hostel. They provide towels but there is a charge if you swap it for a new one. The kitchen is also complete with cutleries, microwave, kettle and free tea and coffee. No oven or gas stove. They have plug adaptors if you need to use some electrical items. The hostel is also 5-10 minutes walk to CLOY pier / Strand hotel for the korean movie filming location. Cleaners are present every morning to clean toilets and empty rooms. Your room key is used to lock doors at night. Free Parking at the back of the hostel. Overall, our stay was good and will recommend the place if you are okay with basic comfort.

The place is truly a gem, right on th lake, super helpful and friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out. We had an amazing time. Bus stop is super close by, short 15 min ride to Interlaken and they provide you with a card to ride those buses for free. There is a nice spacious kitchen on the ground floor and you can buy your food and eat there, they have a kettle, a microwave , cups, silverware and dishes, no stove though. There is a washing machine and dryer free to use for guests which was so so helpful for our group of 6 people with kids. Bathrooms are in the hallway, clean, lots of towels, always hot water available. There is a restaurant just in front of the hostel are restaurants around too. We had the best time and there is absolutely nothing negative to say , I highly recommend this place.

Great stay - location amazing - make sure to book a lake view room with a balcony. Didn’t really affect us but travellers need to be aware walls and floors fairly thin and the area is quite busy / noisy so not ideal if looking for an early night
