I have stayed at Park Lodge many times over the last 18 months. It is comfortable and clean, the staff are courteous and friendly, and the restaurant serves an excellent breakfast. The hotel also has a carpark, which is a vital facility for Aberystwyth.

Good Hotel with friendly service. Food was good. Minor issue with the radiators being turned off. There was room renovations going on in the off-season. Its positive that the hotel is being maintained.

The parking is not exactly easy when you arrive. But once you get the access code to the garage door all is easy. The property and staff were excellent. The location is perfect.

Nice easy place to stay, a step up from a Premier Inn with a comfortable bed and good breakfast included in my rate. About a 1 mile walk into Aberystwyth so bare that in mind if you have mobility issues. Staff pleasant and ample car parking.

Provided with an ‘accessible’ room which was not requested. I find it difficult to believe this would be good for wheelchair users given the configuration of the toilet handrails etc and the bathroom door. . sink was too low and small for general use ie aimed at wheelchair users but very small. Shower cold and covered in long hairs. Room spacious but uncomfortable. Service unfriendly, you felt like an inconvenience when eating or drinking in restaurant/bar. Convenient location.

Was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Really good location, close to the town centre, with amenities near by too. We had a family room, which was clean, tidy and very spacious with 2 double beds and additional seating area to watch TV. Good size bathroom with large rainfall shower. Reception staff were lovely too when checking in and out. Overall excellent value for the price we paid.

Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Park Lodge. We were very happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the staff were excellent. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was good. The bathroom was a little on the cozy side, but functional, although I think a large person would struggle with the basin being very close to the sink. A slight downside (not the fault of the hotel) was the main road running outside our window. Lorries were trundling past at all hours, and even with the window closed it was quite noisy. Parking was excellent and the grounds were very neat and tidy. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. We would definitely stay again.

At first there was no hot water, but later the manager got warm water to run. There was no shaver point in the bathroom and no hooks to hang, eg toiletries bag. The room was clean and tidy, the mattress was lumpy, so overall not as good as expected. On booking I had expected B&B but when we got there we were told no breakfasts were included. I was not happy about that either.

The hotel has been recently updated and to be fair they have done a superb job. The large family room we were allocated, Number30, was lovely, one double and two singles, it also had a settee, 2chairs and a large wall mounted TV. But it also had two major downfalls. One was the lack of air conditioning, the room was unhealthily hot and the other was the fan. The fan belongs to the kitchen and intermittently cuts in all through the night making sleep almost impossible. This complaint is well documented but the owners seem only to want your money , advertise nothing about it and still expect the customer to accept it and pay up. So, I would say, avoid room 30 at all costs. I won't be back anytime soon

Very clean, nice feel to the reception area and corridors. About 1 mile walk into Aberystwyth which easily takes up a day. Lovely hot shower. I really suffered sleeping in this hotel, as nice as it is. Too hot, and our room had the fridge motors outside the window which ran on and off all night. Sadly this let it down, and i ended up feeling pretty grim from the lack of sleep, which is what you want from a nice hotel.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Restaurant and food were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay. Minor inconvenience is no power sockets at side of bed for charging phone but everything else still deserves 5 stars.

Booked a twin room weeks in advance. Allocated a double room. Contacted reception and reallocated a twin. The twin was a room for disabled. Bathroom shower toilet etc. It was really suitable for able bodied eg sink very low for shaving etc. We’ve stayed se real-time said previously with no problems. Reception seemed a bit under pressure when we booked in which might explain error.

Staff were very kind, upgraded us free of charge as our original room was noisy from road noise and loose tiles on cladding above bay window rattling in the wind. Plenty of parking, approx 25min walk into town. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.

My go to hotel in Aber when visiting my son at the Uni. Always a lovely welcome and have never had a bad stay. It's slightly out of town but free parking is a big plus and it's only a short walk into town.

Always my go to hotel when visiting my son. Parking is a big plus and the rooms are lovely as are the staff. It's a 20min walk into town but I don't mind that.

Conveniently located, smart, modern hotel, with a large private car park. Comfortable, spacious rooms with clean bathroom. The staff seem friendly and the restaurant offers tasty food choices.

The bed was comfortable, otherwise a characterless property, tatty towels, no spare loo roll, no hand shower. Poor standard of food. Much too expensive for what it was and compared to other accommodation experienced in Wales.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Restaurant and food were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay. Minor inconvenience is no power sockets at side of bed for charging phone but everything else still deserves 5 stars.

Staff were very kind, upgraded us free of charge as our original room was noisy from road noise and loose tiles on cladding above bay window rattling in the wind. Plenty of parking, approx 25min walk into town. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.

Enjoyed everything except the breakfast - not great and rather expensive at £16. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The.only thing I would advise is to make the menu sound more appetising. Beef pie, cabbage and potatoes doesn't grab me. Also, the pie was fine but the plates were overwhelmed with potatoes, peas and cabbage, far too much and a lot must go to waste!

The hotel its self was ok , a mixture between a Premier Inn and something more up market, at least that’s what the prices suggested. The receptionist on the day we arrived was very abrupt because we arrived a few hours early, her main concern was insisting that there were no early check ins (even though we had not asked for one) she should have been more focused on greeting us !! The main problem was with the food, we ordered around 8pm and were still waiting for our meals at 8:45 after having a single starter (soup). After I prompted the waitress about the long delay she made an excuse that they had a few large tables in (being a Chef for over 25 years, I don’t understand why this would make any difference to the service of an already active check ? The food, surprisingly came out about 5 minutes after my complaint. The Lasagne had been microwaved to an early death so much so that it had degenerated into a cheesy mush (why there was a cheese sauce in a lasagne in the first place is beyond me), the garlic bread had been toasted so high in the grill that is was cremated. My meal (Hunters chicken) was not much better, the chicken was tough because it had been charred grilled for a long time (probably not meant for our meal) as the construction of the dish was a disgrace. Plus the chip had been dipped at least 5 times. Yet you still had the nerve to charge me for this even though we couldn’t eat a mouthful. Rubbish.
