It was clean and has everything you need. The only thing I didn't like was there was no bar or lounge.

7/10 I booked a room for one night as I was in transit. We didn't like the parking option, in a rented garage offered by the hotel, for which you have to pay 25 euros per night, which is quite expensive (I don't want to think how much it would cost if you stayed there for several days ). There is also the option of staying with a pet, but you have to pay 15 euros per night. Nothing is written about the payment of the dog fee on the hotel's website. Cleanliness was ok ish. There are no bin bags there. The TVs in the room are ridiculously small. Small double room with windows facing an inner courtyard. Strange. The positioning is very good, though. Close to the promenade by the Danube and with many restaurant opportunities close by. The receptionist who greeted us was not exactly hospitable. Next time I won't choose this hotel, for sure.

Great location great hotel but don’t fall for their claim that there’s parking. There isn’t - it’s really hard to find a parking spot at or near the hotel. We had problems parking there. Staff was not very helpful - first come first serve?

In terms of value for money, I can't think of a better place to stay when coming to visit Budapest. I stayed here five years ago when travelling to Budapest alone and this time stayed with my partner. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast varied and the staff are super friendly and helpful. (The freshly squeezed orange machine at breakfast is definitely a favourite for me) On our last day we were able to store our luggage securely after check-out and were even invited to help ourselves to the complimentary coffee and tea whilst waiting for the taxi to the airport (which they arranged for us). Those little touches are what help make this place special. Location is also excellent with a wide range of cafes restaurants and bars within a short distance. You can be in the city centre within a ten minute walk and can be walking alongside the River Danube within 2-3 minutes. The Great Market Hall is also less than 5 minutes walk away. I'm already looking forward to returning to Budapest as there is so much yet to see. I'll definitely be considering staying at the Bohem again.

Location very convenient for nearby market hall, riverside and tram stops. Rooms very clean. Reception staff proficient at checkin and had arranged airport taxi for us both ways. There is a luggage room where we left our bags after check out.

Great location, easy to walk to everything. Easy to get to tubes and tram if required. Nice hotel , good room facilities, very clean. Great allowed early check in and leave luggage securely on check out.

malgré une arrivée tardive , nous avons été tres bien accueillis. l hotel est tres bien situé pour visiter budapest . à 300 metres du great market hall , metro et tram .. parfait , le petit dejeuner est copieux et de tres bonne qualité et le personnel super . je conseille vraiment cet hebergement pour sejourner quelques jours à budapest .egalement consigne pour laisser ses bagages en cas de départ l apres midi .

Really gorgeous modern hotel in a great location for seeing the city. In a cold January the hotel was warm & cosy which was a welcome return when out sightseeing. Staff were courteous & friendly too. One small niggle was that there is no bar in the hotel, despite signage & it would have been lovely to have a drink there.

Die Unterkunft liegt ideal: In nicht einmal drei Minuten erreicht man die nächste U-Bahn (M4), die unter anderem direkt zum Hauptbahnhof fährt. Ebenso schnell ist man an den Tramlinien, etwa der Touristen-Tram 2 oder den Linien 47/49, die direkt ins Ruinenviertel führen. Das Zimmer ist zwar eher kompakt, aber funktional und modern eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht: Minibar, Safe, Bad, Schreibtisch – und vor allem eine leise, hervorragend funktionierende Klimaanlage. Der Zimmerservice war täglich vor Ort und hat absolut sauber gearbeitet – ohne jede Beanstandung. Praktisch ist auch der kostenlose Eiswürfelautomat im Keller, perfekt für gekühlte Getränke auf dem Zimmer. Die Frühstückszeiten von 7:00 bis 10:30 Uhr sind angenehm, das Frühstück selbst reichhaltig. Es gibt zwei Jura-Kaffeevollautomaten, frisch gepressten Orangensaft und diverse Optionen bei Milch und Cerealien. Sogar kostenloser Prosecco steht bereit. Auf das Hotel bin ich gestoßen, da Freunde in der Nähe übernachtet haben. Zur Donau sind es nur zwei Minuten, fußläufig erreichbar sind außerdem Aldi, DM, Rossmann, die Markthalle, 24-Stunden-Shops, Bars und Restaurants. Parken ist etwas schwierig, da in der Umgebung Anwohnerparkzonen streng kontrolliert werden. Es gibt jedoch ein kooperierendes Parkhaus in der Nähe. Alles in allem: Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch wieder hier einkehren. Großes Lob, alles richtig gemacht!

There was a bad odour coming from the shower drain!

Review of Boehm Art Hotel Budapest. Firstly, only one of the two elevators in the hotel is functioning. This resulted in long wait times. Upon check in to our suite, my fiancé said the entire room, and especially the bathroom had a foul odor. I should have immediately notified management to change rooms, but we were anxious to start our vacation, so ignored my fiancé’s complaint. The next morning the foul odor was much stronger. I went to the front desk and made the attendant aware of the problem. She indicated that the problem would be resolved if we allowed the water to run in the sink & shower for 5 minutes. We did so, and left the room for the day. Upon return, the odor was even more repulsive, but it was late and my fiancé was ill and did not want to repack and switch rooms at 11pm. At 8am the following day, I requested room change and conference with the hotel manager. We needed to wait an hour to change rooms and were consequently late for a booked excursion. I explained the dissatisfaction and inconvenience to the manager. I proposed that he waived the $30 Euro late check out fee and “comp” us 2 standard breakfast meals. He indicated that my request was excessive, and offered to waive a $30 Euro 3 hour late fee, but not the breakfasts, which I’m sure would have cost the hotel not more than $5 Euro. I should not have accepted the room with the foul odor at check in, but was later informed that the staff knew this was a perpetual problem in part of the

Average hotel in need of refurbishment. Rooms are not well insulated while the beds and pillows make sleeping difficult. Rooms need a proper cleaning. See pictures of the light fittings attached.

Great location. Lots of shops and dining options close by. Easy to get to everything I wanted to see. The cleaning crew was great. Even when I was still sleeping when they made their first round by my room, they returned later without me having to ask them to come back and cleaned my room! Highly recommend

Very clean , professional and helpful front desk staff. Location is 3 mins walk to subways and trams . Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Sound proofing room is my favourite. I think it is a good value for the money .

Bed and bedding excellent. Air conditioning did not work. Breakfast excellent. Wished they had conditioner for my hair.

Great hotel in an area where it is easy to get everywhere but is also quiet. We had a junior suite and it was excellent.

The hotel is in a excellent location. You can walk to everything. The bed was awful. The mattress was old and saggy. I actually moved to sleep on the couch for the last 2 nights. Woke up sore. Asked the staff for a fan on the first night as the room was really hot. She said no fan. Did nothing to help, just no. I would not recommend this hotel as staff does nothing to help and the mattresses are old and saggy.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. AC managed to cool the room quite nicely but room remained extremely humid, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Everything in our luggage was also borderline damp.

Helpful staff, perfect place. Jurist the bed is not good, you can feel each movement of your wife.

It was full of modern artwork. The room was smallish but well designed for maximum usage. Really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a very convenient location with plenty of dining and shopping areas close by. The staff was helpful. Luggage storage for pre/post stay was very helpful. We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that. The rooms are tiny and beds seemed old and were not very comfortable, which is why we gave it the score we did.

Great place to stay - right off Danube- close to marketplace , restaurants and very quite. Front desk not too helpful, but you can easily find info out on your own. Room was clean - typical European room - not very spacious but adequate.

On the negative side: Rooms are the size of a double bed. No space for luggage at all. Front desk helpful but not friendly. Breakfast expensive. Furniture in the lobby uncomfortable. Bed also uncomfortable (mattress). On the positive side: great location, quiet, walkable. They offer free coffee between 2-4PM.

Brilliant stay at Bohem Art Hotel. It’s in a brilliant location near several public transport stops which make getting around the city easy. We especially liked being less than an10 minute walk from Gellert Baths so we could pop back to shower etc and the Aldi in Central Market Hall was perfect for picking up snacks and essentials. The room was very comfortable and spacious with AC which was much appreciated. They even put some balloons in the room as it was my birthday whilst we stayed. If you’re a fan of Mexican food then trying ‘Hugo’s’ opposite is a must, although the cocktails are fab too!

This is a great find, very central and lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Thank you Gigi who always had a smile and very helpful with choices of what to do. Rooms clean and enough for a city break! Would recommend and return.

The hotel is very modern placed in the city centre with close proximity to public transport.Very clean hotel with good breakfast very quiet and comfortable and the staff was absolutely fantastic especially the two receptionists Eva and Gigi who helped us with everything we needed and made our stay so pleasant.I really recommend this hotel

Great location right by the Great Market.

Clean rooms friendly staff perfect location. It is very close to the River Cruise Docks maybe a 5 minute walk. Great restaurants, a mall close by that includes and Aldi grocery store and only 25 minutes from the eye of Budapest and Christmas market.

This hotel is located in the most beautiful and convenient part of the Budapest. 4 min walk to the market, 2-3 min walk to the street with a lots of restaurants and shopping. Very close to the beautiful bridge to the Buda side of the city. Very friendly stuff, clean rooms. Best value for this level of the hotel. Will stay again for sure

The breakfast was good but not free. They do not have air conditioning any longer so you have to open the window to cool room, which is fine, but then curtains are open which brings in light. I had my eye mask but it might be a problem for others. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location

Great location for exploring Budapest. Breakfast was plentiful and had great service. Room was small but efficient and quiet. Daily cleaning was appreciated.

Rent og pænt. Næsten ingen larm fra gaden. Morgenmadsbuffeten var rigtig god og varieret. Til prisen kan hotellet virkelig anbefales. Ligger tæt på det meste. Metro og sporvogn lige i nærheden- 100 meter.
