M1 Yau Ma Tei Hotel

Overall the stay was within my expectation for the price range. I've stayed at a few other hotel around the area and the room size with 2 twin bed is definitely on the smaller size but acceptable. Washroom is cleaner than some that I've been to. The exhaust fan was not working in the washroom and the ac unit is a tad bit dusty and noisy. Cleanliness is decent. Sheets and bed were good, I observed the cleaner scrubbing the washroom floor. The only area they missed cleaning is underneath the bed, I found an empty water bottle and a tissue. Even 4 star hotel cleaners easily miss areas like this so I'm not super disappointed. The only main complaint I have is the hint of smoke for a non-smoking room. The previous guest must've smoke near the curtain/window. ppl that complain about size need to set their expectations to HK standards. If you want a 250sf room pay triple the price. If you just need a small room to sleep on a budget this is more than enough. The same goes for customer service, this isn't japan for 4 star hotel, set your standards to HK average level of customer service and you will be good. Location is probably the best attribute about this hotel. Extremely close to mtr and within walking distance to temple street/lady street. I honestly did not mind the coffin stores next door, quite unique, rarely do I get to see those old style coffin shops. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Only one key card for 2 visitors. Shower tap is leaking. The toilet flush is insufficient water power. Staff never greeted to the visitors.

Mould infestation, old facilities.

The location is good and convenient but the facility of the Hotel is old and out of dated , WiFi is spontaneous and TV is broken …bathroom is a challenge with no way to move around …. Disappointed overall !

Dirty old place

房间細，有臭味。没有人清潔，床单、被单、枕头套要客人自己換。日用品、床单、被单、枕头套要落去接代處講才有。

The room is tiny and filthy, peeled paint on every wall, bathroom tile cracked and no room services at all during my seven night stay. Tv remote not working properly as well, have to use the buttons on the TV set to operate.

I recently stayed at the M1 Hotel in Yau Ma Tei and unfortunately, I have nothing good to say about my experience. Everything about the so-called "hotel" was not up to standard. Firstly, the environment around the hotel was not good except for its proximity to the MTR station. The area around the hotel was rather dirty, and to make matters worse, there were two coffin shops just meters away from the entrance. As soon as you walk near the hotel, you can't help but notice the unkempt appearance, with piles of unorganized stuff cluttering the entrance and hallways. The dirty and unkempt corridors of the hotel only added to the overall unpleasant experience. Some staff at the hotel were not very friendly either. Instead of politely asking customers to sign necessary documents, some staff members would almost order customers to do so. Additionally, I was required to pay a deposit of HKD 1500 for my 5-day stay, which seemed excessive. The most disappointing aspect of my stay at M1 Hotel was the fact that it was listed on Expedia that the room would be CLEANED DAILY. However, the reality was far from it. Due to the so-called Covid reasons, the room was only cleaned ONCE for my 7-night stay. If you stay for six nights, don't expect any cleaning or replacement of towels. I reported this to Expedia for the clear misrepresentation of the hotel's services. Overall, M1 Hotel is definitely a poorly managed establishment, and I would go as far as to say that it is more of a guesthouse t

沒有牙膏牙刷沐浴液洗頭水提供，需要去大堂購買，這些基本物件都唔提供，另外電水壺好多塵垢，衛生程度很差！除咗價錢比較平之外，我諗唔到有咩吸引人再去幫襯嘅地方

Pros: Good locale to sights and attractions. Close to MTR exits. Negatives: Room was dirty on arrival. Sink had leftover strawberrie stalks and corner table looked like someone had left nose buggers on it. Staff also unhelpful with sim card install as all i required was a pin to eject tray

Hotel is awful. Walls crumbling, terrible beds, so small inside, no wardrobe. What not recommend this hotel to anyone

The front desk staffs were rude, the room was small, and the ceiling was rusty. I requested higher floor but only arrange 8/F to me.

Quite good space.

It is definately the worst hotel experience in my life. No soap, no shampoo, no tooth brush set were provided. Towel would be changed every 4 nights. Noisy environment, I could hear the flush, opening door, bath and piss from the room beside me. I could also hear the opening and closing of the lift. They also arranged maintanance, drilling the wall, on 10am in the morning. I can understand I could not demand to much on basis of price. But itbwas terrible.

The pictures I received for my room was completely different to the one I got. There was hardly any room for my belongings, very small areas for manoeuvring.

櫃檯服務不錯。 隔音不太好，早上隔壁房間出門會聽的到聲音。 牆壁有些壁癌 ，尚能接受。 水溫正常，水量夠大。

お湯の調節が少し不便。チェックイン手続きが時間掛かりすぎ。受付の人、皆愛想ない。

The staff was super bad, asking for 1000 deposit when Orbitz says only 500. They even said that they won't lend plug adapter even when they have it. Dirty everywhere as well.

Staff was horrible they were sleeping on the job. They give us one key 2 people staying in room. Ask them for another key $70 per key wow. Very rude will never stay there again. Over $230 dollars a night go to the Hilton they have class.

Convenient location. 5 min walk for metro stn to visit nearby places like temple street market , mongkok etc and 5 min walk to A21 flyer bus stop for airport. Rooms are very small though and because of small size some inconvenience. Its a no frills so donot expect service. They will charge you for every thing.. even plain drinking water.

The hotel is located in between 2 coffin shops which I felt pretty uncomfortable staying in such loxation. Also, the room condition is poorly maintained (eg, the aircond ventilation is full of dust and cigarette smell despite non-smoking room was requested).

Overall, didn't feel unsafe, it's always vibing HK and if you're always out and about and just need a place to shower and sleep this is the place for you. The rooms we opted for had a double bed and a washroom and a bay area by the window that you can sort out your luggage. Great for 1-2 person stays, don't think it was very kid or family friendly. Also, note if you stay there for a long haul, they do not switch out your sheets/towels until the 4th day. Didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant on the 1st level, but the food looks pretty good.

駅からも近くテンプルストリートも徒歩圏内。ネイザンロードの１本裏という立地。この条件でこの価格なら良いと思う。

The hotel is near/Next to a MTR so going with public transport is great. Also there is within a few min walking distance a bus A21 to go to the airport by bus. Location wise it was perfect, shower was good. The reception lady/check in was a bit moody it seems can happen.
