The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. We stayed off season so it was a bit quiet, but the pool and hot tub were great and a quick (under 10 mins) walk to the lower village was perfect.

Great stay at the Tantalus Lodge. Walking distance to the village. Our 2 bedroom room was spacious, well-appointed, stocked and clean and very comfortable. The pool, sauna and hot tubs were exceptional.

Hallways had a musty smell and beds weren’t very comfortable. Parking was limited due to construction so had to shuttle to and from parking that was an 8 minute drive. Not terrible, but not overly convenient. Nice surrounding area though away from the bustle of the village. With some updating to the facilities would rate it higher

Always stay at the Tantalus when there’s a group of 3 to 6 of us snowboarding up at Whistler. Good value hot tub is normally working well and a walk to the village is short though there is a shuttle. Should you require it?

There was a broken hottub panel needs to be fixed as it was hanging loose where u press the button to turn on jets. Other one worked fine though

Great location! The lodge offers complimentary shuttle to get closer to gondola or to stroll around the village. Also, if shuttle is not available, the lodge is located within a ten minute walk to whistler village, which makes it close enough for those evening walks. We had a great and enjoyable stay, and we'll definitely stay here again!

Its an old building. The room was not that clean. The sofa had a pet hair sticking to my shirt every time I sat on it. The rooms don’t have much view. It could be a bit cheaper based on its conditions which is fine but not wow.

It needs help with overall cleanliness. It had dry blood on the comforter in the master bedroom, hair on the pull out sofa, grease on cupboard doors and no bowls in kitchen, dusty chunks hanging from kitchen popcorn ceiling and a few stains on bed comforters in room with twin beds. Light fixtures were falling apart. It needs updating too. Most importantly, attention to details when it comes to cleanliness.

Everything was perfect but hotel rooms had very bad and stingy smell , once we entered but we opened the windows and were fine, hotel should put some frangnace in the coridours lift and rooms.

We got a 2 bedroom unit. It is spacious, old but everything was great. Heater was quiet, the location was quiet, kitchen was well equiped, lots of power outlet. And the bed was comfy. Overall we were satisfied.

Good location close to the village, having a full kitchen was great, and the suite was large and comfortable. I only wish there was air conditioning as we had to leave the windows open and it was quite loud outside at night. Overall though, I'd stay again.

Very pet friendly, great staff, clean comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Recently renovated. We enjoyed the fireplace and balcony. The room and hotel was nice and quiet and the beds were comfortable. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms and lots of space.

This property is situated close enough to the village. It is a bit dated but has been kept up with pride. The rooms are spacious but be advised there is no Air Conditioning if you desire to travel in the hot summer months.

We loved our stay at Tantalus. Reception staff were super helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. A quick walk and you’re in Whistler Village, which has a small grocery store, pharmacies, and loads of shops and restaurants. They accept pets. I would definitely stay here again.

The ladies at the front desk were so great! What you pay for and what you get is amazing, it’s a great place to stay, affordable and very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again, it’s really appreciative that they are trying to break the bank to stay in Whistler! Great place!

Loved the shuttle to the lifts. Reception didn't pick up the phone when called from the room, but they were always great when you met them face to face

Overall the room was okay, very dated. We were not happy when checking out as there was a surprise parking fee that we were not told about when checking in. Extremely limited parking forced us to park on the road way in a fire lane up against bushes that scratched my vehicle and made it very difficult to unload anything from the vehicle. When asked if they would waive the fee as we where told to park in a no parking zone where we couldn’t get in and out of the car we were told they cannot and only a manager can. So we asked to speak to a manager but there were none working that day and would not give us their phone number or email. I will never stay here again and recommend to everyone else not too as their customer service was non-existent.

Pros: Nice lobby area, pretty good price for a 2 bedroom suite, great pool area that was never too busy, great location. Cons: Old and tired rooms that need a refresh, rooms were a bit dusty, staff didnt seem very professional during my interactions. For the price it's still decent,

If you're bringing your dog, ask for a lower level with an external balcony so you can let them out easily. The suites were very large, equipped with a full sized kitchen and fridge. The bed was very comfortable and carpets were fresh and clean. It was quite warm in the suite for the summer. The hotel was set a bit back from tip of the village in the trees making it pleasantly quiet.

The Tantalus Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Our apartment was cosy, super comfortable, no thrills but great value for money. You are a short walk to the center of the village. You can't get better value for money in Whistler.

Very nice appart-hotel. We stayed in a two bedrooms / two baths unit, with a full kitchen and living room. The rooms were large and clean. The sauna / hot tub / pool area is great for relaxing after a busy day. Location is a short walking distance from the center of Whistler village.

Check in was efficient and friendly. Hotel is very clean and rooms are large. Good location. Great place to stay for family get away.

The building is old and creaky and in need of some maintenance and updating. Floors creaked above our bedrooms when people upstairs walked around waking us up. Bath fan didn't work effectively and the bathrooms fogged up immediately when the shower was turned on and took forever to dry out. Ceilings were WET when shower was on. Toilet was rocking when sitting on it, The caulking at the base looked like it was applied many times as it was built up and cracked all around. Bed sheets are old and need replacing. Our bed sheets we pilling making them rough to the touch. Dinner table was sticky and no amount of cleaning or soap could get change that. The cost was on the cheaper side, but I think for a few dollars more there are much better options in Whistler.
