The hotel itself was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely pool area with a rain water pool. The only issue we had was in the restaurant, myself and my husband ordered garlic mushrooms as a starter while our son ordered a chowder. Chowder came looked great and tasted good. Garlic muahrooms arrived and there were 2 mushrooms on each plate with a small side salad. This was priced at €7.90. When i questioned this the watress called the manager. Who told me it was because of covid and that they struggled!! This is rip off ireland at its best. We decided not to be ripped off paid for my sons food and left. Lovely little thai restaurant nextdoor with reasonable portions and great service.

Wonderful hotel with an incredible leisure ctr with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym; daily breakfast was fantastic and substantial. Mallow is a great, relaxing small town, but large enough to have plenty of groceries, shopping, a movie theater, restaurants and bars. Also has a neat series of walking trails around the city- all paved and flat. Train station is a 10-15 minute walk to hotel on paved sidewalks. Intercity bus stop is about 5 mins from hotel. Although i really liked Cork city, i am glad i stayed in mallow- train ride to Cork was only 15 mins and inexpensive. Had no problems in hotel- water was hot, wi fi was great, etc. Highly recommend this hotel and town!

Parking is OFF SIGHT. When we got there, it was a busy evening and there was zero parking in front of the hotel for unloading luggage. We had to park in the offsite parking and lug all of our luggage about two blocks of a walk to the front of the hotel to check in. Considering I have an injured Knee it was very frustrating to me. The Internet and Wi-Fi stunk.

La relacion-calidad precio es buena pero la limpieza de la habitacion era un poco deficiente, la tetera estaba llena de cal y parecia que nunca se habia lavado. Por otro lado, la insonorizacion era un poco deficiente tambien.

Had a room with a particularly noisy extraction unit outside the window, git moved ti another room but it was worse. Music in the bar kept me awake until late. Also the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable

The hotel room was nice enough. But the room was hot and we could not control the temperature even though we opened up the window. The toilet did not work very well and the service in the pub took over an hour for our food. I think the waiter forgot to put our order in, but didn’t even Acknowledge that or offer us a free dessert or anything for his mistake. I think we only got our food because I asked how much longer it would be.. The food was delicious however. Overall, it was OK stay but probably not worth the price.

So far all our stays have been great but we figured we’d get a stinker in the bunch and this was it. Check in was easy but we got up to our teeny tiny room and it was an oven. No air conditioning and the window opened about 2 inches. Went to the restroom and it took 3 flushes to complete what needed to be done. We asked for someone to look at it. They came up flushed it and said it was working fine. There was toilet paper still in it. Went to take a shower in the coffin like shower and the buttons for the faucets were missing. It took me ten minutes and help from hubby to finally get it turned on. The water pressure was so poor I probably could have washed in the sink faster. As we were preparing for bed the upstairs guests were obviously practicing for Lord of the Dance. This was off and on all night as well as someone running up and down the hallway past midnight. You could hear full conversations outside of our window and we were on the second floor. The staff did bring us a fan which did cut down on the hot air in the room. We got up the next morning and hi tailed it out of there! On to the next adventure

On booking a week before my prepaid stay I requested a room away from the street, but this wasn’t actioned. The guy at reception was on the ball though and said there was one room available that didn’t face the street. The heating there wasn’t working however, so he moved me to a nice room that was on the street, but triple glazed. It turned out the heating wasn’t on there either, but I didn’t have the heart to ask him to move me again. The bathroom was cold, but the bedroom was fine. Fast forward to the next morning and the phone rings about 9am. It’s a new receptionist who tells me that I shouldn’t be in that room and why was I? I hadn’t gathered my wits quickly enough to give her the response she deserved so I told her about the heating in the other room and being moved. “What room were you in and what’s your name anyway?”. I resolved to express my dissatisfaction on checkout, but the receptionist was too busy instructing a tradesman to even look at me as I returned my key. Probably for the best.

On booking a week before my prepaid stay I requested a room away from the street, but this wasn’t actioned. The guy at reception was on the ball though and said there was one room available that didn’t face the street. The heating there wasn’t working however, so he moved me to a nice room that was on the street, but triple glazed. It turned out the heating wasn’t on there either, but I didn’t have the heart to ask him to move me again. The bathroom was cold, but the bedroom was fine. Fast forward to the next morning and the phone rings about 9am. It’s a new receptionist who tells me that I shouldn’t be in that room and why was I? I hadn’t gathered my wits quickly enough to give her the response she deserved so I told her about the heating in the other room and being moved. “What room were you in and what’s your name anyway?”. The hotel itself was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely pool area with a rain water pool. The only issue we had was in the restaurant, myself and my husband ordered garlic mushrooms as a starter while our son ordered a chowder. Chowder came looked great and tasted good. Garlic muahrooms arrived and there were 2 mushrooms on each plate with a small side salad. This was priced at €7.90. When i questioned this the watress called the manager. Who told me it was because of covid and that they struggled!! This is rip off ireland at its best. We decided not to be ripped off paid for my sons food and left. Lovely little thai restaurant nextdoor with reasonable portions and great service.

The hotel room was nice enough. But the room was hot and we could not control the temperature even though we opened up the window. The toilet did not work very well and the service in the pub took over an hour for our food. I think the waiter forgot to put our order in, but didn’t even Acknowledge that or offer us a free dessert or anything for his mistake. I think we only got our food because I asked how much longer it would be.. The food was delicious however. Overall, it was OK stay but probably not worth the price.

Wonderful hotel with an incredible leisure ctr with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym; daily breakfast was fantastic and substantial. Mallow is a great, relaxing small town, but large enough to have plenty of groceries, shopping, a movie theater, restaurants and bars. Also has a neat series of walking trails around the city- all paved and flat. Train station is a 10-15 minute walk to hotel on paved sidewalks. Intercity bus stop is about 5 mins from hotel. Although i really liked Cork city, i am glad i stayed in mallow- train ride to Cork was only 15 mins and inexpensive. Had no problems in hotel- water was hot, wi fi was great, etc. Highly recommend this hotel and town!

Hotel was OK. Parking was a bit confusing but once we figured it out it was ok. No restaurants around the area except for McDonald's across the street. We ate at the hotel, and it was quite good. Biggest downside is the room was incredibly hot so sleep was not good. Overall good value / option for a night passing through!

The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional talking about letters of resignation . We were given a room next to the elevator that looked out onto the roof with a stink pipe to make the window useless during a warm spell. Thankfully we were not in the room often. Stay away from room 40 as we fondly called it the utility closet. It was so bad it gave us something to laugh about on how crazy this place is managed. We think we were targeted because we arrived earlier than planned and asked to store our luggage while we explored the town . Not to check in mind you , we were just looking to not haul luggage. This set off a snippy attitude that clearly staff was all having a bad day after the conversation that continued while we were waiting for our 315 check in . Staff is everything and this hotel is never on our list again .
