Liked the price and rooms where good and clean. Hot tub and pool were great

The pool and hot tub is quite old and not kept. The hot tub barely worked, cleanliness around that area is questionable

Okay, look, I paid $80 so I can't really complain, nothing bit me in the night so I got what I paid for. But, on the off chance that you're going to pay more than $80, don't get fooled by the thing that looks like a pool and hot tub in the pictures here. The 'hot' tub (and its 2-3 functioning jets) was, I'm guessing, 70-80 degrees. The water was too cold to stay in the hot tub for more than a few minutes, since I couldn't move around to warm up. The pool temp was somewhere well south of that. That is all

Chose this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities and when we got here they were out of service. Other than that the stay was not too bad. Shower could use an upgrade.

The things we didnt like was The hot tub grate at the bottem is broken also couldnt get the lift chair for the pool to work and really hurt my foot on the broken bottem of the hot tub... also the bed was very uncomfortable i had to sleep at the foot of the bed the coffee pot was in the bathroom i think 🤔 is gross cuz the poop particles from flushing the potty...the room was clean and the staff was very nice i would stay there again they offer juice and coffee and have good priced vending machines we tired the Barbecue Restaurant that was in the parking lot.As the motel we would not recommend eating there.It was pretty gross.They microwaved all of our food and our brisket taste like fish

The pool didn't look clean, the accessible lift wasn't working, so we couldn't swim while there. Hopefully that will be fixed soon so others can use it if needed. The guy at the desk was nice & helpful.

Nice older motel. Good bed. Pool was small, but warm. No breakfast room, but sometimes had baked cookies. Terrible guest laundry, should just shut it down. Took two hours to dry a small load of clothes.

Clean but dated room. Ceiling paint peeling in bathroom. The bathroom door needs to be replaced. Good sized room. Hot tub very small with weak jets.

There was trash left in our room and bugs in our room. Was getting bit constantly.

We only stay overnight and have continued to book into Motel West for 9 years. Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff are wonderful.

The room was spotless. Everything was clean. Very basic facilities, but just what I needed.

The floor was not vacuumed very well, restroom toilet seat was dirty, hair in bathroom sink, one pillow case looked like it had been used. Bed was comfortable.

We arrived at the motel kind of late (after 11:00 pm), so I wasn't expecting much of an interaction from the front desk, but the gentleman working that night (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and attentive. He could probably tell I was tired and got us in our room as quick as possible. For a 50 year old budget motel, the lobby was up to date and welcoming. The building our room was in was quiet, and the room was clean. We were on the 1st floor and couldn't hear anyone in the room above us, and could faintly hear the people in the room next to us. The beds were older spring mattresses, so they were a little bouncy for my liking, but still supportive and comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The lady who turned down our room was really nice too. The only negative I comment I have about the room was that there was some mildew built up on the ceiling over the shower, probably from people not using the exhaust fan during/after using the shower. But that's nothing that would keep me from staying here again.

Such a clean well taken care of little gem!

The motel was centrally located and appropriately priced. Some issues included a sink that wouldn’t drain, toilet that ran all night, and used towels leftover from the previous guest.

Fast internet, very welcoming staff and spacious clean rooms. Great location for a couple of tired travelers heading south

I have stayed here whenever I’m in idaho falls since 2007. Always a good experience. The more recently remodeled rooms are quite nice.

Super comfortable beds and great water pressure/hot water. A little outdated, but a bargain for the price. Would stay again

Super noisy with loud ppl coming and going at all hours of the night. The room itself was very decent, but I would recommend it only for ppl who are very heavy sleepers. Zero soundproofing.

Check in was a little difficult. Wi-Fi was terrible. We have stayed before and they used to have a nice breakfast but have discontinued that. So overall, we will shop around a little more next time we are in Idaho Falls.

Room was nice, we stayed on the second floor which was kind of inconvenient with a baby but, not a huge deal. Beds were nice and comfy. AC worked VERY well. Property was clean and well maintained.

Room was basic but huge, comfortable, and pristine. Outdoor areas, walkways, balconies, stairwells were a bit rougher.

This one is good enough for the price. The room was clean. It's supposed to be a non-smoking room but it still smelled like ciggarettes. I'm not sure if the smell was from the linen or the carpet. I suppose you can't control what other guests do.

Desk manager was so nice and friendly. Delicious cookies at check on. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Convient drive to the airport. Many fast food options within walking distance.

The people at front desk are not the friendliest, the hotel is old and not too clean, rooms are ok, we only spent one night but didn’t like it much. It did have a big ice machine we use, parking is easy.

So, we had a mixed experience here. The night desk lady was maybe the rudest person I've dealt with at a front desk. She would not look at me when we checked in, mumbled responses to questions, and seemed genuinely annoyed that someone would dare check in to the motel that pays her. Disappointing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hot tub had a broken drain cover, so if you weren't careful, you could cut your foot on the broken plastic. Or, like me, you'll fall over when you step foot on it. Dangerous and ridiculous they haven't fixed it. Well, the next day we found out that my 17-year-old daughter had left her pillow and baby blanket in the room. My wife called at about 4pm to see if it had been found. Wouldn't you know, she got the rude lady from the night before, at least I assume it was her because my wife got the same treatment I had gotten. She was basically told that nothing could be done until the next day when the cleaning crew came back in. The lady was blunt, dismissive, and unhelpful. Well, I called back the next morning because the morning lady had been very helpful and kind when I had interacted with her the morning before. I got, I assume the same lady, because she was very helpful and understanding of the situation. She took a description of what was lost, checked the maid's closet, and let me know of the standing policy of mailing lost items. She called me the next day to let me know that they found it. She is why my rating is as high as it is.

Front desk lady wasn’t friendly, didn’t smile, didn’t feel welcoming. Sounds like she’s annoyed of her job. Very short.

Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom a little dated but the shower worked just fine. Spent two nights while visiting Idaho Falls and it was good. And for the price, a good deal. Just know there’s really no breakfast here only coffee/juice. For what you save, find one of the many local spots for breakfast.

This property is older, but remodeled, clean, & staff are awesome. No breakfast included, but plenty of options close by. Beds comfortable, coffee in room, & great choice of tv channels.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk offers ice cold water and fresh baked cookies which is a welcoming touch. I stayed two nights, separate trips, while traveling to and from my destination. The first stay I had a two queen size bed room which was located in the center building. The room was big. The TV was tiny and I couldn't see it very well from the bed it was in front of. The bed was fine, I slept well. The second visit, again friendly staff. This smaller room has a single queen bed and it looked to be newly refurbished. The carpet was newish and stain free. The furniture was new and the TV was larger and easy to see from the bed. The shower water pressure was good. If you're taller than 5'9" though, you will have to duck to wash your hair. The AC units worked well in both rooms. Overall this was a good value. The price was great and the staff was friendly and efficient.
