Their water heater went out, but the tenant did not tell me until I paid for the room I am not staying there with no hot water. I said, you should’ve told me before I paid, and I asked for a refund.

Horrible! I rely on Hotels.com to provide honest details about places but this one was the worst. It was late, I was tired, but I felt unsafe and had to move furniture in front of the door for security. Old metal framed bed, filthy walls and carpet. And the smell! Meth heads in the parking lot. Horrible! Even they think they’re horrible! They have a sign that says “No refunds after 15 minutes “ posted!!!

No one was in the office when i arrived. I had to call a number to get someone. The place was dirty and run down inside and out. Did not feel safe there, felt like i was being watched by people hanging around outside of rooms and riding bikes around the building. I pushed the chair against the door for safety. Bathtub did not drain during shower. Literal dirty handprints on the wall, yet i was told they would keep my deposit if they found any dog hair in the room from my dog… first and last time!!

For the amount of money I paid, what a rip off. The lamp shade was busted & there was no lightbulb. The one working light was dim at best. The shower was absolutely disgusting. There was no Wi-Fi, so the description is a lie. The staff member who checked me in called earlier, threatening to cancel my reservation because I was going to check in, as I intended, around 11 p.m. No breakfast as the description said. The shades didn't really work. Would NEVER recommend this dump.

This was the most disgusting motel I have ever seen or stayed at. The sheets were stained, the TV didn’t work, the entire ceiling was water stained, the toilet didn’t work and the front desk employee stared out the window at me whenever I stepped outside of the place. The carpet was soooo disgustingly dirty.

There was nothing unique about this property. The presentation by the clerk was that me was bored with his job, the exterior was dirty and needed paint, there was no internet, no coffee or breakfast, the bathroom floor was moldy, furniture as dirty and in bad repair.

Don’t stay here. There is a $50 deposit that wasn’t disclosed until arrival, the toilet had to be flushed multiple times to fully flush each time, no breakfast, bed was hard as a rock with tiny flimsy pillows, the tv didn’t have a channel guide and the tv quality transported me back 20 years. Two of the lamps didn’t work and there was no where close to the bed to plug our phones in unless we unplugged the lamp and sacrificed being able to see. They also seem to book the rooms clumped together so it seemed like everyone staying there was next to each other so there was little quiet time. over all i paid too much just to sleep in scottsburg for the evening. save your money and go elsewhere

I arrived at the property at 11:30 pm and the office was closed. There was a note on the office door with a phone number to call for late arrivals. I called and received a recorded message that the person doesn’t have voicemail set up. I had to find another lodging. Very unprofessional and frustrating!

The complete place was a dump. More of a place to take hookers to smoke some crack. The cleanist part of the room was the toilet. Put towels in the bathtub to stand on for the shower. Would not recommend to anybody.

Two of the lamps didn’t work and there was no where close to the bed to plug our phones in unless we unplugged the lamp and sacrificed being able to see. They also seem to book the rooms clumped together so it seemed like everyone staying there was next to each other so there was little quiet time. over all i paid too much just to sleep in scottsburg for the evening. save your money and go elsewhere

Don’t stay here. There is a $50 deposit that wasn’t disclosed until arrival, the toilet had to be flushed multiple times to fully flush each time, no breakfast, bed was hard as a rock with tiny flimsy pillows, the tv didn’t have a channel guide and the tv quality transported me back 20 years. For the amount of money I paid, what a rip off. The lamp shade was busted & there was no lightbulb. The one working light was dim at best. The shower was absolutely disgusting. There was no Wi-Fi, so the description is a lie. The staff member who checked me in called earlier, threatening to cancel my reservation because I was going to check in, as I intended, around 11 p.m. No breakfast as the description said. The shades didn't really work. Would NEVER recommend this dump.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, so it’s not really that bad, the pool is never usable, the breakfast is a joke, the rooms are worn and the bathroom is especially worn out. Why do I stay there? Price, convenience and the staff. The place is right off the highway, quiet and safe feeling, the price is the best I could find for Kentucky Derby week, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels that were far worse, it isn’t the Hilton, but the television works, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the place is clean and bug-free.

Horrible! I rely on Hotels.com to provide honest details about places but this one was the worst. It was late, I was tired, but I felt unsafe and had to move furniture in front of the door for security. Old metal framed bed, filthy walls and carpet. And the smell! Meth heads in the parking lot. Horrible! Even they think they’re horrible! They have a sign that says “No refunds after 15 minutes “ posted!!!
