知本温泉発祥の地らしく、施設は古かった。 ドアの立て付けもなかなかだったが、それはそれでOK。 部屋で温泉が出るのはいいけど、髪の毛を洗うのには真水のお湯が出てほしかったかも。 宿泊費も安く、地元の人も長期滞在とか湯治？に来ている人も多いようだった。 卵や野菜を温泉で茹でることができるのは良いと思う。

We really enjoyed our stay, but I have to say it probably won't appeal to the vast majority of Western tourists. We really enjoyed the hot springs, the rooms are clean but basic. The whole hotel honestly is showing its age but still give our stay a five-star and it wasn't a problem for us. But if you are expecting Holiday inn or a Hilton it might be a bit of surprise. The location is quite remote which we enjoyed. We did find some heat waterfalls and some hiking within about a 15 to 20 minute drive but there's not much else around.

4月後半に1泊しました。　バス停「泓泉渡假村」下車、ここがレインボーリゾートです。 施設は古く周辺に娯楽はないが、静かで清潔であり快適にすごせました。　 温泉は部屋の浴室、屋外の温水プール、露天風呂で楽しめます。　屋外の入浴時間は8:00～12:00と15:00～22:00です。 屋外の温泉は水着着用で、万が一水着を忘れても売店がありますが、営業時間が17:00～ですのでお忘れなく(水泳帽はフロントで販売)。 部屋の洗面台は真水も出るが、温水側に栓をひねると温泉が出ます。部屋でお茶等入れる際は各階にある給湯器を使うといいでしょう。 日本語は通じませんが漢字筆談と英語で要望を理解してもらえました。
