Stayed here to run half-marathon in nearby town. This is my third time staying here and it was a mixed experience from start to finish. When checking in, clerk ignored my minor son and me to finish vacuuming. When my husband went to get keycard after parking the car, clerk let another customer budge in front of him. Room was spotless. The indigenous art and decor is beautiful. Restaurant service for breakfast both days was spectacular- do wish they had gluten-free bread for celiac customers, however, but they do have allergy cards and take care of customers with food allergies/intolerances. The food was good except the fruit bowl had fruit that was starting to go bad. The arcade had issues- both the Skiball machine and the massage chairs malfunctioned. During dinner at the Western Door (steakhouse), it took over an hour to 90 minutes to get our entrees despite having a reservation at 6 and the restaurant being quiet. Our server was good. The bathrooms went out so the only place to go to the bathroom during dinner was at the pool and the bathrooms were leaking into the gift shop. The bar on the second floor won’t let you get a drink for your companion which is really annoying when staying in the hotel with a kid. Pool is great but should offer family hours to use the hot tub.
