Kiwi airport motel Room was very dated and worn and needed a thorough clean. Kitchen light not working. Made it very hard to see especially in morning getting ready for early shuttle. Carpet needs a good clean. Dust around head of bed. Unknown drug tablet discovered on shelf. This was taken to reception along telling of with other issues. The response was I am sorry I will tell my staff. Instructions on motel phobe message regarding Yellow bus shuttle pick up from airport not clear. ( did not state bus stop D) therefore we were abused by the driver when we flagged him down to stop. He made us and 1 other passenger get off the bus at the international airport and show us sign for bus stop D and told us to wait for next bus. He didn’t want to listen when we explained we had followed motel instructions and had walked out of door 4 at Domestic terminal and that the bus stop was right there. ( stop D was further down the road closer to earlier door.

Room was clean but had a funny smell since the 1st day, shower head needs stronger pressure is needs to be deep cleaned. Speed bump to cross from the hotel to the motel needs to be fixed. Everything else was great, especially the staff and cleaning team

The room was unvacumed, the air thing was hard to work very well and the tv was hard to work, the phone did not work.The bathroom, the toilet seat was not secure properly, the shower glass was dirty and you could see the smears along with the brown built up dirt around the seals, the shower spout itself had calcium build up, the shower did not drain well and the floor of the shower was gooey, the walls were not clean either. the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. outside area was a grotty old table that should be thrown out and replaced. regardless of the price i paid this property was not up to scratch at all and i will not stay there ever again. parking however was good.
