Reservations failed to advise of wedding event which caused chaos during check-in with no parking and drunken wedding guests making noise in the late evening destroying peace and enjoyment of stay. Also, we were not able to use the garden area used by the wedding which was part of the allure of staying on the property

Elegantly renovated vintage motor court with ample backdrops for photo ops in outdoor spaces, bar lounge and thoughtfully designed rooms. Impeccable staff, jazz band, and the most impressive complimentary breakfast bar. Safe gated parking. Lovely two day stay in a great area close to everything. An elevated experience.

We had a great stay at The Mystic. It was our first time in Sante Fe, stopping through on a long road trip. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was a very short walk from the lobby, and we were able to get parking a door down. We did arrive during an event at the restaurant, and there was a security guard at the gate, which I appreciated. While the restaurant is open to all (and delicious, I highly recommend eating there), the hotel guests have separate parking behind the gate. The event, queer night, was pretty fun and we were able to sit outside to enjoy our dinner quietly. Music went until about 11pm I think. We could hear it slightly from the room but it didn't keep us awake. The rooms are decorated very nicely, the room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was incredible. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. We sat in the lounge area, a beautiful sunny room immaculately styled. It felt luxurious, which was special for such an affordable stay. We'd love to return to Sante Fe for a longer trip to explore the city, and would definitely stay at The Mystic again.

The parking is located behind a large secure gate. We arrived after 8:30pm and the main lobby was closed. Yet, they sent a text stating the key would be in a lockbox. Rooms are older, but nicely remodeled. Simple, clean and comfortable. We were sent a text stating complimentary breakfast had been cancelled, but fortunately someone filled in to prepare the food. Breakfast was amazing, with tons of fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, bread and drinks. The dining area (indoor and outdoor) is very beautiful in the southwest style. Would definitely return.

Super cute property, easy parking access to rooms. Breakfast was a great bonus. Wish the garden area would have been unlocked for us to enjoy even though they didn’t have live music that night we would’ve liked to sit outside.

This property is so gorgeous it's very easy to see why it's also a wedding venue. The staff was so pleasant to speak with and the adjoining cafe/restaurant was super convenient. The night we arrived we were able to walk over to the cafe for some live music and dining. The next day the complimentary breakfast was in the same spot. It wasn't bagels and coffee either.. this was a high quality spread that you'd expect to pay at least $30 a plate for. The overall design and layout is very classy too. We will definitely be returning during our next stay in Santa Fe.

Very nice property. Cute rooms with thoughtful design elements. Two minor issues: the free breakfast has a wonderful array of choices, both hot and cold however, it does not start until 8 AM. Also, be sure to check for the event at this location for booking. My room was close to the lobby area, and there was an event taking place one of the nights of my stay with loud music and parking issues.

Boutique motel- Gated and secure. Well planned and designed renovation, very clean and perfect for a couple of nights. While I only had breafast, it was top notch compared to any large chain hotel and way healthier. Coffee is excellent and not watered down. Side note- There is parking for a large truck and trailer, along fence line, but arrive earlier to secure space, will have to back out.

Pleasantly surprised with The Mystic! It was vibey, chic, clean, and super cute. The linens and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was great! More than the usual “continental breakfast” that you find at most places. Staff was friendly and warm. The back yard was super cute with fire pit, stage for live music, games, and plenty of seating, I’d definitely stay here again.

Disappointed in the condition of my room. There was still trash in the garbage can from a previous guest, shower looked like it had not been cleaned, the lampshade for the ceiling light was held together by 4 binder clips. For almost $140 for one night, I expected a bit more care for the room.

We are dring Rte 66 and this was a suggested nostalic stay place. Yoi did not disappoint. Every aspect was perfect and reflective of this memorable drive. The rooms are clean, quiet and modern enough. Location is on the route. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend.

Our family stayed in 2 rooms at The Mystic Santa Fe. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was a nice change from the typical hotel breakfast! The decor is lovely, and staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was fantastic! And my bed was super comfy. The aesthetic is on point, so many lovely small touches throughout, and the room was quite clean (although I'm not sure how they launder the animal-skin carpet?). Front-desk staff were very kind and attentive, despite not seeming to have much knowledge of the area (if you need an ATM, turns out there's a CVS down the street that has one and will do cash back; you don't need to walk for half an hour). The room (2-Totem) doesn't get much natural light, especially if the front blinds are closed for privacy—some frosted-glass window decals could easily fix that. Overall would stay again!

I'm going to be generous in my rating, because I actually like it when a hotel goes for a kitschy theme. However, I do feel like they sometimes sacrificed comfort here to maintain the kitschiness. For example, I'd like actual side tables, large enough to actually put things on, instead of small lacquered upright logs by the bed. I'd prefer not having to awkwardly reach behind me to access the toilet paper because someone opted to hang it on a strap on the wall rather than just putting it in a regular holder right by the toilet. I'd like to be able to reach my towel from the shower rather than having to step out to get to it because someone put the handle you can hang it from in a place they thought looked more artsy. As to other matters, the breakfast really was delicious and is worthy of the praise other reviewers have heaped on it. The floor of my room wasn't swept well, but the room was otherwise clean. The AC worked well. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The staff were friendly. I liked being able to park right outside of my particular room in the shade of some overhanging tree limbs. I was able to hear all the noises coming from my neighbor's room. I'm not sure if this was because the walls were thin or because my neighbor was unusually loud, but it was loud enough that I could clearly hear the audio of the movie he was watching (Last Crusade, my favorite Indiana Jones movie, if you were curious). Fortunately, he quieted down before it got too late in the evening.

Room was small and very basic. Would have liked to definitely have a coffee maker, and a microwave is nice, though not as important. There were no drawers and a rope with 2 hangars. We stayed 3 nights and had to live out of our suitcases. Excellent location and very nice staff. The grounds are lovely as well. They did have entertainment 2 of the nights we were there. Breakfast was pretty good, more than a simple continental breakfast, though they wanted $4 for a glass pod juice

Stay was good, close to town and cute room. Negatives - rooms were tiny, was given gate instructions before my arrival and once I was there was told the gate would open for any car that came up to it. Didn't feel unsafe, but wish this was more secure than just letting any car in. A large reason that we booked this hotel over other hotels in the area was because of the rave breakfast reviews. We stayed for 2 nights over New Years Eve and New Years Day and came down for breakfast on New Years Day and was told it was closed. The attendant at the front desk said we emailed you and I let her know I did not receive an email nor was not informed upon booking the hotel or when I was checked in. Was then told we emailed those reservations that were booked through AirBnB which mine was not. Very frustrating as we then had to spend an additional expense for breakfast that we werent expecting.

Pros: unique and cute room decor. Amazing outdoor area behind the hotel. Great breakfast that they made for hotel guests at no extra charge. Comfortable bed. Cons: noisy because of a thin exterior wall. I could hear people talking as they walked by the room, driving across the gravel parking lot, and the sound from the traffic was loud. (Hotel is off a main road) No coffee in the room. Our mini-split AC unit didn’t work and our room was hot.

We had a late check-in, there is no staff on hand, there is no one to call, the heater in our room did not work. It was near freezing all night. They didn't care, they didn't do anything to help the situation or to rectify.
We had a late check-in, there is no staff on hand, there is no one to call, the heater in our room did not work. It was near freezing all night. They didn't care, they didn't do anything to help the situation or to rectify.

The hotel had a cozy and relaxed vibe that made our stay very enjoyable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We loved everything about this hotel. The gentleman Michael at the front desk was attentive, honest, answered all of our questions, and asked us how our stay was the next morning at breakfast. OH the breakfast my goodness, I was not expecting what was served. You get oatmeal or yogurt with an assortment of toppings including fruits (blueberry, oranges, raspberries, and strawberries), bacon, potatoes, sourdough toast, waffles, blueberry muffins, plus coffee and quality tea. I wish I knew the name of the server in the breakfast area because he took care of us so well too. The atmosphere of the dining area and the outside seated is beautiful too, it was clearly designed with intention. Another thing, even though the parking lot was small they accommodated our 16-ft trailer which was so kind of them, parking lot is gated by the way. Thank you so much Mystic team.

We stayed here on thanksgiving day. So, they didn't provide expected breakfast but pastries. Staff is not ready to say sorry (or) courteous for that. But, they were ready to cancel my reservation when I asked them about breakfast on thanksgiving day. Customer Service personal is very rude and unprofessional. Otherwise, this hotel is good place to stay with spacious backyard, parking spaces and nice location.

The Mystic is such a cool boutique hotel - the service was excellent, the room was comfortable and the backyard area was really cool. They have Sunday parties with a band that we really enjoyed with the family. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked on Expedia at around 8 pm, got to the property at about 8:20. The office door was closed and locked. Sign said the office was staffed until 9 pm, and had a number to call after hours. I called the number and got no answer and a recording said the voice mailbox was full and I couldn’t leave a message. I wasn’t sure what to do at that point so I waited outside to see if someone would show up. After 5-7 minutes, they did. They had been in the adjoining cafe next door and expected me to go there to check in. Just useful info for any others who have a similar experience. I had booked the suite, and it was fabulous. So I had a good experience once checked in.

There was nobody to check us in, so we couldn’t get our room. Nobody answered the phone or text DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS. Finally, we went to the attached bar, and somebody from there checked us in….our reservation (though we’d received a confirmation email that day) had been deleted. #23 is the corner of the property where the water drains to. There was no mat inside the door to wipe our feet, so the floor was muddy. The tub didn’t drain properly, so we were ankle deep in water while bathing. The high point was the continental breakfast with very decent coffee. Could’ve had that in town for $30, without the crappy hotel experience.

Great staff that accommodated us with our camper and dog. We were looking for a hotel room close to downtown Santa Fe so we could run in and see the sights in a very limited time frame. This is an old Motel that has been renovated. They include an excellent breakfast bar, have a nice garden/outside seating area to hang out in, gated parking and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The motel itself is an oasis but the area around is not somewhere you’d want to walk around. It’s a commercial area with businesses along a busy road.

We lucked out that there was not an event happening the night we stayed here as it’s big thing is to host events in the beautiful garden right behind our room. The hotel did a good job warning us that events often take place there & close all out at 10 PM. It was a very quiet Friday night. The market right next door has amazing shopping. Called Jackaloop. The Plaza is only a 15 or so minute drive.

Cute motel that's recently been remodeled for millennial tastes. Lots of little spots to relax on the property including a nice garden. Rooms were very clean and everyone was very nice. Complimentary breakfast was good. There is a restaurant on site but it was closed during my visit. It sits right off a busy road. It's about 15 minutes from the touristy stuff. There's a gate to the parking lot but it's motion activated -- I made sure to bring my stuff into my room but I walked about a mile around the motel and never felt unsafe. Mattress was hard for my tastes and the shower needed a shelf but otherwise great motel, especially for the price. Would stay again.

Very well done and well maintained motel. Fun bar and restaurant. Great staff. The surrounding area is rough, but the entire motel and parking is gated.I highly recommend the Mystic and we would definately stay here again.

The motel property was amazing! Everything is very trendy and looks new and clean. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor space out back was beautiful and we liked that the parking was gated. The breakfast provided was better than we expected - a nice variety of hot and cold food that was all fresh. We also got dessert from the on-site restaurant one night and it was delicious. The only drawback is the location. The area around the motel is sketchy and it's a bit of a drive to reach the musuems/shops/restaurants in central Santa Fe.

Great stay experience, overall. We loved the decor, food, and proximity to downtown. The only slight negative was the mattress was so uncomfortable, it left us feeling quite sore the entire next day while we tried to walk.

This hotel was the perfect location for my plans, which included visiting friends and going to Meow Wolf. I was also happy to spend time in the bar/restaurant and go to Jackalope. I would definitely return.

This place is truly spectacular! I've stayed in much more expensive hotels and chains that could learn a thing or two from The Mystic. The staff were all friendly. The craft cocktails were amazing! And that Caesar salad is literally the best I've ever had. Breakfast had plenty of options. Tons of fresh fruit, tea choices as well as the traditional offerings, eggs, potatoes, sausage and waffles. Casey was absolutely fantastic and truly made our stay special! This hotel should be at least a 3-star hotel based on the amenities offered. The room was impeccably clean, updated and cozy. Linens were fresh and soft.

This is a motor inn type property. The rooms were very nice and clean. Service was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. There is a restaurant and bar with live music on the premises. Good was very good. This is a unique/quirky establishment that offers a very nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

This property is so gorgeous it's very easy to see why it's also a wedding venue. The staff was so pleasant to speak with and the adjoining cafe/restaurant was super convenient. The night we arrived we were able to walk over to the cafe for some live music and dining. The next day the complimentary breakfast was in the same spot. It wasn't bagels and coffee either.. this was a high quality spread that you'd expect to pay at least $30 a plate for. The overall design and layout is very classy too. We will definitely be returning during our next stay in Santa Fe.

The breakfast was beyond fabulous! The best we experienced on our road trip thru Arizona and New Mexico. We dined both nights at their restaurant, food was flavorful and presentation was top notch. Highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in Sant Fe.

Stay was good, close to town and cute room. Negatives - rooms were tiny, was given gate instructions before my arrival and once I was there was told the gate would open for any car that came up to it. Didn't feel unsafe, but wish this was more secure than just letting any car in. A large reason that we booked this hotel over other hotels in the area was because of the rave breakfast reviews. We stayed for 2 nights over New Years Eve and New Years Day and came down for breakfast on New Years Day and was told it was closed. The attendant at the front desk said we emailed you and I let her know I did not receive an email nor was not informed upon booking the hotel or when I was checked in. Was then told we emailed those reservations that were booked through AirBnB which mine was not. Very frustrating as we then had to spend an additional expense for breakfast that we werent expecting.

Everything was great, I love the new theme with Mystic! Only issue with the room with 2 double beds, was that the bed closest to the bathroom was a little too close and it caused me to stub my toe, ouch!

The split unit was not working and suddenly it started working in the morning. Was sent a how to video at 11:30 pm. I was trying to fix while my family slept. Had to sleep with the window open. Car alarms and highway noise kept us up all night. Would not recommend this place at least while under construction and remodel. We did not know it was in midst of renovation.

BEWARE!! We just drove to Santa Fe for the night. Checked out and were called by the staff to ask if we had brought a pet with us. We had not. Our pet was at home. They insisted we brought a pet because they found hairs all over one of the pillow shams. We were sent a photo of the hair. It was not even close to our pet\'s hair, probably not even the same species. No footage of any pet and our pet is too large to have snuck him in anyways. Passed the housekeeper on our way out to the car. No pet with us. However, they charged us an extra fee— stating they had "proof" of us having a pet in the room. Spoke with the owner and he states this is proof enough for the extra charges. Have disputed this CC charge and called Expedia to file a formal complaint. Scam.
