Overall enjoyed my stay. Although the hallway does smell of cigarette smoke, the rooms could use a bit of updating! Overall I’d still go back to them the staff is pretty damn good!!

I was only inside the property for 20 minutes, and that was enough for me to leave. First of all, the treatment at the reception was not good, but I had to give my room a chance. Big mistake! In the room, the sheets were dirty, the toilet didn't work, the cabinets were broken, they had never cleaned that, not to mention the bad smell, I could only bear it for 20 minutes until I left!

We booked 2 rooms in this hotel without seeing it. When we arrived we realized this hotel is really more appropriate for those who need short term housing - people experiencing homelessness, transient people etc. not at all appropriate for our vacationing family. It reeked of tobacco and marijjuana. It was barebones. No reception area. Really rough. We left within minutes and did not get our money refunded. We lost nearly $300 but we could not spend the night in that place. I am sure this location is great for some, but be aware of what you are booking.

Smell is AWFUL when you walk in, very out dated on the inside,beds are not comfortable, only one pillow per bed.People just stand around outside.Will never return. I hate I spent my money there even though it was just for a quick get away.

No one was at the desk. I had to call the hotel to get someone to come. When we got there he said he called to tell me they were overbooked. If you reserve a room, doesn't that mean your guaranteed a room? He somehow finds us a room then talks us the hotel is a long term tenancy hotel. The room stunk. Too much to list what was wrong with this overpriced $50 a night hotel. We paid $260 for 2 nights. Seems like nobody cared about customer service. The young man and the happy groundskeeper or maintainence man was nice.

This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in upon entering the building a you are treated by a mold and musky smell dirty carpets and dirty mats in the elevator. That smell continues into the room and lengers for my entire stay. The bed and bathroom linens were stained.

I booked a three night stay at this property. I got there at night very tired from the day and was shocked at the filthy room with broken cabinets dirty floors and a constantly running toilet. I stayed until then morning and checked out. The General manager promised me she would issue a refund for the remaining two night and I took her at her word. This however did not happen and in my mind this speaks to a lack of integrity. Now I am forced to go through my credit card company to recoup my remaining days. If you are thinking of staying here I would not recommend it. The place is not maintained and the staff is confrontational.

We booked 2 rooms in this hotel without seeing it. When we arrived we realized this hotel is really more appropriate for those who need short term housing - people experiencing homelessness, transient people etc. not at all appropriate for our vacationing family. It reeked of tobacco and marijjuana. It was barebones. No reception area. Really rough. We left within minutes and did not get our money refunded. We lost nearly $300 but we could not spend the night in that place. I am sure this location is great for some, but be aware of what you are booking.

This hotel looked nothing like the pictures online. Very dirty hallways, illegal drug smell through out the hotel. Sketchy people standing outside and in lobby. Lobby closed down at 10:00pm for the day.

Smell is AWFUL when you walk in, very out dated on the inside,beds are not comfortable, only one pillow per bed.People just stand around outside.Will never return. I hate I spent my money there even though it was just for a quick get away.

The staff was great but the room was kind of run down. The microwave was cracked and part of the countertop was missing. It was clean, though. I was fine inside my room but outside the smell of marijuana was overwhelming.

I definitely will not stay here again or recommend this property to anyone else. The hotel is run down offering nothing that you are accustomed to in a hotel room i.e. pens, clothes iron etc. The shower leaked and sprayed water all over, the bed mattress was old. There appear to be a lot of suspicious activities happening in an around the property but it lacks security.

Please stay away from this hotel/extended stay. My experience at WoodSpring Suites Savannah Garden City was terrible. After checking into my first room, I noticed missing items and the room smelled very bad. I went back to the front desk to report the issue. The front desk agent came to the room, acknowledged the smell, switched my room, and apologized, but stated they do not give refunds. The following day, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and was met by a very rude front desk agent. She had a nasty attitude for absolutely no reason. While I was speaking to her, she ignored me and carried on a personal phone call as if I wasn’t standing there. To make matters worse, she was involved in a loud argument/fight with a family member staying in room 108. The overall environment felt unsafe and unprofessional, with a lot of drug activity around the property. I would not recommend staying here.

The hallways smelled horrible and the rooms were even worse. The windows couldn’t be opened more than a few inches so we couldn’t even air it out. The floors were not carpeted but were filthy. We stayed here on a last minute decision on a family roadtrip and it was the worst part of our 3 day ride down the east coast.

The room was filthy. We were literally sticking to the floors. There were stains everywhere and missing items in the room. The room and entire hotel for that matter, STUNK.
