The beds and pillows were not the best, but I have experienced worse. It was quiet over the offices below. The bar opened under their pavilion instead of inside, which was nice to be outside. They do have a fire pit closer to the front of which we asked to use, no wood provided so we got some, we know people there. 5 minute walk to town center, convienient for wedding reception. Had a good time in Buckhannon!!

What a great surprise to find this inn. We will be back next year. Great location. Excellent staff. Rooms were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of water pressure for your hot shower. They even have a place to eat and have a nice drink at the end of the day. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks! See you next year!!

Wonderful stay! The beds were so comfortable! The 88 Lounge located at the property was a great place to grab a cocktail that evening. Very close to Wesleyan College.

It's far from what it used to be, but it is a very good option for Buckhannon. It was a community all-purpose option, but the restaurant has closed, and it is a little more minimalist than before. They made good use of an outdoor pavilion when I was there, though.

Needed a place to stay after a college football game in town. Perfect location. Friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean. Stopped in the bar after the football game for a few cold ones and everyone was nice and fun to chat with. This place is a great bang for your buck spot!

It was OK - nothing to write home about, but nothing to make me run screaming :) Bed was comfortable, new carpet, and good food in the area (Fish Hawk Cafe). Bathroom had what looked like construction glue on the floors and the shower had some mold in the corners. They use a cotton shower curtain which seems unhygienic and should use a curved shower curtain rod to keep the curtain from brushing up against you while showering.

The staff were very helpful and kind. Very professional overall excellent rating for staff. The outside of the property was excellent as well. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The mini fridge was dirty. Bath tub was dirty and behind the beds and dressser (had to find an outlet for my charger) was trash.

This is an older property, and it is family run. It was terrific. I have never seen a hotel so clean. And the staff bent over backwards to be accommodating. The beds were excellent, the shower was excellent and once again everything was so clean, lovely place to stay.

I stayed two nights on business, and Nikita was very accomodating. Hotel is nice, clean, bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable. I have stayed before and will stay again. Highly recommend!

The bathroom was not cleaned properly- lots of hair on the floor. The toilet is not attached properly. Bathtub is clogged and bath curtains are not waterproof which creates a pool of water on the floor, as shower head is old and sprays in all directions. The sheets and towels looked clean. Breakfast consists of fake orange juice, the worst coffee possible, fruit and packaged muffins and cookies.

The memory foam bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy and warm when I arrived. I appreciated the heat being on when I arrived, since some hotel rooms I have walked into do not have the heat on to conserve energy, so you walk into a cold room.

Our stay was great the staff that we had dealings with were wonderful. The rooms were in great condition. The only downfall was that in the morning you could hear every door open and close. We did the overnight tour at the Asylum so we came back to take a nap before leaving, but it was short-lived due to hearing all the doors.

I missed the cancellation window by 5 hours and it was due to an emergency at my workshop completely out of my control that prevented the trip from happening and the manager at hotel refused to waive fees (one nights stay), despite the many attempts of Hotels.com. I will never book with them again. My family and I supported this private owned hotel for many years and never will again.

I tried to cancel my reservation, and they would not refund any of my money that I prepaid, nor did they ever respond to me in any capacity after I explained I could not travel. I could see penalizing me for 1 night or maybe half the cost, but none at all? No response at all after 3 attempts on my end? I am dissapointed a hotel would conduct business this way after I had an unfortunate emergency. Bad business practice Bicentennial!

Walking distance from the venue of my meeting. Reasonable price. Clean and newly upgraded rooms. The only thing that I would recommend for improvement would be the breakfast. Make some form of protein available for those of us who are diabetic.

Very comfortable room and bed, and fairly clean. I wish there had been a better breakfast selection but I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was mainly rude with a few exceptions. The room was clean. The hotel was very hot except for the actual rooms. They were running big dehumidifiers in the main areas. Vending machines were cash only. Washer and dryer was quarters only. It was convenient to where we needed to be, but nothing to brag about.

The evening front desk clerk, while not nasty, was less than welcoming. Fortunately the gentleman at the desk in the morning more than made up for it. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels. The hallway could use some refreshing. Would stay there again if the need arose.

For a small hotel it’s very nice. Been privatey owned for 50 years. Tons of old pictures of the hotel from day one. Very friendly staff. I’d stay again.
