Clean rooms. Plenty of parking. No issues. Great stay for my quick business trip!

Very friendly and very clean! Super easy parking. Low price and definitely very nice! I will stay again. Good almost halfway stop when going from norcal to socal and you just want to stop and sleep prior to entering into Los Angeles. My final destination was Corona. Ventura was the perfect place to sleep. Namaste

The windows had no screens so large mosquitoes were getting in. We had to keep the windows closed making it stuffy in the room. The bathroom had a lot of rust stains and dirty walls. The beds were comfortable. Some furniture was broken. Not top notch but okay for a one night stay.

Dirty. Stove only had one burner working. Cabinets were broken, drawers didn’t work. Fridge was dirty. Mold in the shower. Broken window screen, missing window screen. Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. Decor was extremely tacky. Room smelled weird. Kitchen outlet was broken. Neighborhood seemed sketchy.

The noise at night was not allowing us to sleep. Bad staff that never picked up trash nor did beds. Area didn’t feel safe nor the upkeep was acceptable

Property was clean and quiet. The manager was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was nice and bathroom had plenty of soaps and towels. The building is old and could use some upgrades. Other then that I recommend this property for a nice stay.

The building was clean, but there were a few roaches in our first night. Manager was very kind and helpful! We received a free upgrade!

Room 105 is a handicap room. The toilet tank kept leaking then running about every 3 minutes. I turned the water valve off, and it turned really easily indicating this had been done before. Walls are SUPER thin, and we heard neighbors well into the night. Sheets were stained. Room didn’t feel clean. Needed paint. Toilet paper holder was broken. I wondered if anybody does basic maintenance on this facility. Bed springs were noisy and not comfortable. In wall heater/ac unit had to be run by remote as the control panel was busted. We won’t be going back.

There’s no phone in the room. You can hear every step in the rooms around and the bed was very uncomfortable. The pipes from other guest’s showers were so loud I had to turn up tv to hear. The employees were very nice though.

the owner is the nicest guy ever, we talked for a bit at check in, the next morning I discovered I had left my cell phone in the room, he texted it when he found it. Very friendly and nice man. the room was basic, furniture a bit worn. very powerful but somewhat noisy a/c unit. On a busy street so try to get a downstairs room with building blockage to buffer the noise. good value for the location

Fantastic quality for price, kitchenette made it easy to save on dining. Had a great time with my wife, will likely stay again.

Room / furnishings were old / worn - needs up grades and possibly fresh coat of paint wouldn’t hurt. A/C unit extremely loud. No cable - dish tv - couldn’t watch live tv or get news. Kitchenette had limited supplies and no paper towels or Kleenex available in the room.

Service for the motel was great. The rest of it was not. Parking was terrible, the area is not great, there were some homeless individuals standing in front of my room door when I first arrived. Once I got into the room it only got worse. All the baseboard and trim around the room looked terrible. Dirty and beat up. There was a missing light in the ceiling, one of the bulbs was burnt out and only one worked. The bathroom sink had a crack in the enamel, the light switch cover was corroded, and the toilet wobbled. The handle on the one night stand in the room was broken, the quilt had multiple cigarette burns on it and miscellaneous stains. The view out the back window looked.like a junkyard. I've honestly never been in a worse hotel room. Cannot recommend anyone stay here unless you have no other choice.

It was an older, run down kind of place. But it was clean, comfortable, and had excellent excellent service.

My mom and I stayed here one night on our trip down the coast. It was a last minute decision to stay, and the area itself was a bit worrisome upon booking. So many other places in the surrounding area had frightening reviews! Upon arrival, we felt a bit nervous, but were quickly put at ease by the owner/gentleman at the front desk. He was very plesant, reassuring, and considerate. Upon entering the room, its what you would expect from a motel. Nothing more, nothing less. It was dated in its appearance but still very clean and had basic amenities such as soap and shampoos and a refrigerator. We didnt need much. But for others traveling, there is no microwave or coffee maker. The chair in the room was a bit stained, but we didnt use it. You could definitely feel the springs through the bed, but we still slept just fine. My only complaints would be that the TV only offered 1 channel, and the walls are VERY thin. We happened to have a couple arguing the entire night next door to us, but with only 1 channel on the tv, it just added entertianment lol. For anyone on a budget, just looking for a quick clean stay, I would definitely recommend.

Front desk staffs were very courteous and helpful during our check. Manager even greeted us with friendliness. Thank you for a very restful night!

I can only hope other business owners would follow the same practices. I came in with a reservation that didn't start until the next day and they were booked solid, the owner extended himself so much as to give up the room he had for himself, I had just drove 4 hours after working a 12 hour day and he noticed, I was too exhausted to decline such a giving gesture......so I say thank you again for such generosity and will insist to hat anyone who finds themselves in need of lodging to stay at The Bayshore!!

The manager Mayur was friendly until there was a problem. I had two problems, with no resolution. 1) There was no hot water in the morning. I ran the shower for 20 minutes. No hot water, no shower. I told Mayur this in a call about five hours after I left, as the office was empty when I left. He said in a later call that he tested the water and it was hot, and that my room was one of five rooms that used the same water heater, so another room may have used up the hot water. That doesn’t help. There was no offer of a partial refund or an apology. The room was mediocre at best, but I only needed a bed and a shower for a night. 2) I had to take an urgent trip and booked the room the night before I needed it. I saw at 5 am the next morning that I mistakenly booked for the day after I needed the room. I contacted Hotels.com to change the reservation, but there was no one at the motel, so the rep suggested I cancel the first reservation and rebook for that day. He canceled my reservation and processed a refund request while I rebooked. Note: My initial booking was $145 and my rebooking was $254 -- $399 total. After multiple tries, Hotels.com informed me that my refund request was denied. I subsequently spoke with Mayur 4 times about refunding my initial booking, and each time, he promised to look into it and get back to me. He never did. I have had to follow up, but no resolution. I judge a business by its integrity, and at this establishment there is none. Booker beware.

Mr. Petel and staff were inviting and kind, they even upgraded our room, we felt safe and comfortable to just breathe and vacation in peace

Hotel wasn good nothing fancy but solid room and it was clean. Staff was great and informative. 5 minute drive to the beach. Lots of places to eat all around great location.

Perfect stay for what we needed! Way more affordable than all other places in the area. Easy drive to downtown and the beach.
