The room that I had was huge and had all of the amenities I needed including laundry. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall my stay was pleasant. The staff were helpful, courteous and professional. Just two pieces of information: * The hotel’s elevators are under construction and being upgraded to state of the art ones like on new cruise ships. I wasn’t told about the construction which began in early morning and the hotel understood this and made an appropriate adjustment. So if staying here consider asking for a high floor. * As a fitted apartment there’s a cleaning service every three days. Mine came at 5pm when I was back at the hotel and that was inconvenient. I later found it was also the end of the shift.

Super accomodating hotel close to transit. I arrived around 0930 to drop off my luggage. To my surprise they let me check in early! They were also willing to store my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. Well stocked bathroom and kitchen. Laundry detergent provided and the machine was efficient. The only downside was the elevator was rather slow. However, there was plently of signage indicating there is an upgrade in progress.

Lovely place to stay except we had a car and found the hotel very difficult to find with no pull in reception area at all. Car parking was in another street which was also difficult to find and cost more that the hire of the car, $60. Great place to stay if you don't self drive.

During out stay some of the lifts were out of action which made getting to and from the room slow. On the morning of our check out, it took about 15 minutes to get a lift down.

Elevators were an issue during our stay, especially on our day of check out. Only one elevator was operational while others stayed on 38 and 39 floor on the morning of a check during a Saturday. Elevator would skip the floor despite button being pressed, or would be full to capacity. We were 6 people were waiting for an elevator on our floor, for over 15 minutes all had to to walk down from the 17th floor and exit via the back lane and having to walk back around to the front of the building. No concierge at the front desk upon arrival, and both were slow when they finally made an appearance Made me miss my train to the airport, having to coordinate alternative transportation and a rushed airline process. Very unacceptable to have limited elevator service operating during peak checkout time especially having seniors and people with heavy luggage having to traverse stairways and exit in to alley ways.

Great location to move around the city. Close to central station! Tidy and very spacious suite. Super friendly and accommodating staff! There was lift maintenance ongoing during our stay, but the noise did not bother us and works were carried out in a professional manner. Nice gym and pool area, very quiet and nice to workout in.

I had a great stay. Loved everything about the property. If there is one thing I could ask for better is the temperature of the spar. If it could be hotter, that will be perfect!!! 👍👍👍👍

3rd day cleaning inconsistent std , floor is not vacuumed, coffee capsule not refilled, for example. Lifts under upgrading, needs to be more patience.

트램정거장 바로앞에 있어서 교통은 좋습니다. 주변에 걸어서 갈 수 있는 식당도 많고요. 원베드룸에서 지냈는데 넒고 깨끗했습니다. 그런데 배수구 냄새가 너무 심하게 났습니다. 처음에는 화장실에서만 나는 줄 알았는데, 방전체에서 나고 심지어 복도에서부터 나더라고요. 냄새때문에 다음에 다시 오고 싶지는 않네요.

I was at the hotel for one night - from 10pm to 8am: - Smart TV didn't have internet and wouldn't connect to the hotel's wifi. It wasn't a cheap room so there is a natural expectation the TV should work as intended. - Dishwasher turned on automatically when I had just got to sleep - Floor of the shower was really slimy, it was gross - Homeless guy smoking out the front when you're trying to wait for an uber when going to work in the morning was the cherry on top. Never staying here again.

Great location! The beds were very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was not of the standard I useually see at Merito properties. I had requested single beds in the reservation jut had to request again after check-in. The spa had brown sludge floating at the edge.

A bit of a mixed bag at this hotel. The room was very spacious, had its own controllable heat pump unit and a truly fantastic bed. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired and, for some very strange reason, the hotel only serviced the rooms every three days. This meant that the bin became full, and we ran out of the amenities (such as shower gel and coffee) pretty much every day. To add insult to injury, the service was pretty poor when it was conducted. On more than one occasion, our towels were taken and not replaced - meaning calls to reception and follow-ups being needed. For a five-star hotel, this is just not on. The shower room was a bit of a strange configuration - we couldn't leave the toilet roll in its holder as, when you sit on the toilet, it's literally digging into your side. The sink water pressure was very poor and the sink itself didn't hold much water, which made it difficult to shave in. I find the shower head to be too small for where it's positioned - it's like a fricking jet. Bigger heads would make the shower more enjoyable. I used the swimming pool a few times and it was very cold compared to pretty much every other indoor swimming pool I've ever used. It needs to be at least a couple of degrees warmer to be comfortable. The changing room only holds one person so, if you come at a busy time, you'll be waiting for a bit. Location of the hotel is great - there's a light-rail/tram station 2 minutes away. I'd probably stay here again.

The room had flies in the shower. We were never told it would only be cleaned once during our 5 day stay. The room wasn’t even cleaned they just dropped new towels and soaps. Poor communication and cleaning ruined much of the hotel experience though convenience to public transportation was good.

Spacious studio room. Nice to have the additional facilities. Washing machine for a longer stay is handy. Couldn’t get the clothes dryer to work. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days which is fine but just something to know. I did think it was odd that coffee/tea was not replaced. You just get the initial pods, even after housekeeping which i thought was a little stingy. Great location. Handy to the light rail/tram. Would stay there again or a sister property.

First time staying here in a king deluxe studio suite. Modern furnishings, clean & quiet on level 14. Very comfortable bed & wonderful king size pillows. Highly recommend staying here. Check-in/out was quick & efficient.

The property is aged. The room I have got was on level 12 which is also where the pool is. May be for this reason, the room is very humid. The AC is actually inside the room making it at times pretty noisy.

Great room, great layout. Sitting area, king bed which was very comfortable, fully stocked kitchen with nespresso type coffee maker & milk in the fridge, washer dryer, nice bathroom with shower hose & shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Would highly recommend this room as it was also reasonable for the location!

Comfortable beds but room configuration means bedroom is cramped and hard to move around the bed. Hotel facilities are ok. Location was the most positive part of our stay.

Staff was rude and unprofessional upon checkin. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. The room was spacious and clean but had a weird smell. Currently construction going on during the day. Great location in Haymarket and close to the tram, but would not stay again after being treated so poorly as a customer.

From the friendly staff at Reception on our arrival, through to the support e.g.' in ordering taxis and concluding with the friendly farewell, our stay at the Meriton Suites Campbell Street could not be bettered. This was our second visit and will be our go-to stopover whenever we need to stay in the city.

Super accomodating hotel close to transit. I arrived around 0930 to drop off my luggage. To my surprise they let me check in early! They were also willing to store my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. Well stocked bathroom and kitchen. Laundry detergent provided and the machine was efficient. The only downside was the elevator was rather slow. However, there was plently of signage indicating there is an upgrade in progress.

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Quick service at check in and out. Our room was ready even though we arrived a few hours early. Studio room was a good size. Room was very clean and had everything we needed and was quiet even though it was on a lower floor. Very close to light rail, super easy to get around the city. Heaps of food options close by and also a Coles supermarket on the next corner. Overall great stay. Thank you Meriton Campbell St team.

This was my second time staying at Meriton Suites Campbell St , and it’s fantastic . Highly recommend it . After a mix up with twin bed request , all was corrected and we were offered a late checkout and a bottle of bubbles for the inconvenience of having to wait for the room to be ready . Staff are friendly and efficient.

My recent stay at Meriton Suites was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in triggered severe allergies, causing continuous sneezing and sniffling throughout the night. Another issue I encountered was with the window, which did not close properly. This was extremely loud and disruptive. However, the most significant problem arose during check-out when I wanted to provide feedback about my stay. The manager on duty handled my check-out process, but due to a line of people waiting behind me, I let them go ahead. After just two minutes, I returned to express my desire to leave feedback. Surprisingly, the same manager asked if I had checked out and when I replied affirmatively, she seemed unaware, even though she had already completed the process. It was an unprofessional and confusing encounter. When I voiced my concerns about the room triggering allergies, the manager responded with a series of excuses, attributing it to recent pesticide treatment. Furthermore, she went on to suggest that my sensitivity must be the reason for the allergic reaction. This lack of empathy and dismissive attitude was disappointing, especially when all I wanted was to provide some feedback. Overall, my experience at Meriton Suites fell short of expectations. Improvements in professionalism and customer service are necessary. Due to these issues, I will not consider staying at this hotel in the future.

Awesome hotel and convenient place to stay. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and the staff are always friendly and helpful, even offering on our most recent stay an early check in when our plane landed early. Only stay here when in Sydney.

great location on the heart of Chinatown on George street, close to public transport and lots of late night restaurants. the property is also fantastic, with lots of amenities inside the room including laundry machine, dishwasher, pots and pans, and a full kitchen. The room itself is large, comfortable and clean. Only downside is the relatively early check out time, at 10am, which is earlier than other places which offer 11am or 12 pm check out.

Super easy access to the light rail, across the road from Capitol Theatre, which I was in town for and plenty of food options in Chinatown making this hotel the perfect place to stay. Staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean. Loved my stay. Would definitely stay again.

This apartment/hotel is in excellent condition. The apartment (one bedroom) is spacious and has everything one would need. If you like to be in the middle of everything you'll love this place. You can't get more central. You can't get more convenient. The reception is extremely helpful.

its all about location with this place, you are very well placed to get everywhere. the light rail is v convenient and so close to central. the hotel apartments are nice and smart not luxury but good. only issues were mainly around Towels and having my towels taken away but not replaced, was really annoying. TV and bluetooth Hi fi was buggy and didn't work sometimes too. internet was good.they need to change the bedding they use. it comes off easy and you can find yourself having to remake the bed every time. overall smart property with good facilities.. again this is about location!
