住宿的一切都很好，晚餐也十分美味。但有2點我希望改善，第一點是二樓的浴場，戶外湯上方就是空調的機器，噪音讓人無法好好享受溫泉。第二點是當我在換衣服時，有女性工作人員直接進來打掃，這讓我感到不舒服。

駅から坂を上がる形ですので、体力がない高齢者には少し難儀かもとれません。ただ、車いすも用意されているので、街中の移動は快適でした。お風呂場が変わった場所にあり、すぐに入りに行きたいという感じではないのが残念でしたし、足が悪い人でも階段を使用するかわざわざリフトを稼働して頂くしかないので面倒でした。夕食・朝食とも料が多すぎるので、量より質を求める人にはダメかな。

落ち着いた施設であり、温泉の湯質とても良くのんびり浸かる事ができました。朝食と夕食をつけましたが、値段の割にとても手の込んだもので満足できました。遠いですが1年に1度は訪れたい施設です。

Quiet. parking avaliable but very limited, good services, no choices of food. We expected there would be several choices but by the end we only knew almost all the dishes were fish when the waiter delivered the dishes to us while my wife is fish allergy.

도고 온천 지역에 있는 역사와 전통을 자랑하는 호텔인 도고온센 후나야! 직원분들 친절하시고, 주변 관광지를 걸어서 돌아다닐 수 있도록 목욕가방이나 우산도 빌려주시는 등 서비스 훌륭합니다. 예쁘게 꾸며진 정원이나 대욕장 등 다시 한번 가보고 싶네요.

這個房間的設備都很好，唯一的一個小小缺點，有一天在下午一點多發現一隻蟑螂，自己抓了半天沒有成功，打電話給櫃檯，他們算是很迅速的趕來，而且成功打死蟑螂。房間整體很乾淨，只是塌塌米這樣子的房間，可能也免不了會發生這種事吧！

Our 5-night stay at Dogo Onsen Funaya was nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. Our suite was nice, clean and comfortable. The public bath was well maintained, clean and enjoyable. The Japanese and Western style breakfasts were delicious; however, the service was sometimes slow and lacked server attention to details ( i.e. drink refills and removal of empty dishes). Otherwise, the overall experience at Dogo Onsen Funaya is excellent. I would recommend Dogo Onsen Funaya to my friends and look forward to staying here in the future.

客室は清潔で、何よりスタッフの対応は、最高でした。食事は、非常に美味しくて、特に朝食は素晴らしかったです。部屋の洗面所にある、拡大鏡が便利で、重宝しました。お庭もよく手入れされていて、足湯があったのには感激しました。旅のいい思い出になりました。

The Japanese style room is as close to a ryokan stay as you can get. Try the Japanese breakfast - both the Japanese and western breakfast was plentiful, nutritious and tasty. Staff service, friendliness and attentiveness was impeccable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Around the corner to the Dogo Onsen (historic onsen that recently reopened) although we didn’t visit, seeing the building (at night) is impressive. We can to visit the shrines and do a tiny Henro - this is walkable to the Ishitige Shrine and others close by. Wonderful stay - and getting a room with the in room onsen was very a nice indulgence.

ホテルは　落ち着いた雰囲気で　ゆっくり出来ました　今回は　俳句スィートに　宿泊しましたが　部屋は　値段の割に　狭く感じました　でも　部屋のお風呂は　温泉が　出て最高でした　　食事は　朝も夜も　大変美味しく　お腹いっぱいになり満足です

I picked this hotel for "Private Onsen (hot spring) with the room". I thought it would be wonderful because we are shy Americans to share the bath with strangers... but it was a regular size bath tab (made with Hinoki wood which was nice but there were some dark stains). The time we can fill hot spring was limited and the water flow was so slow that the temperature of the water became too low when the tab was filled and there was no way to heat water. We are very disappointed and nobody actually enjoyed "Private Onsen". It might be OK if it was a summer time. Room was spacious but unnecessary for guests of two. I reserved two rooms for 5 adults but we all could fitted in one room. I felt that I paid too much for the rooms.

The Japanese and Western style breakfasts were delicious; however, the service was sometimes slow and lacked server attention to details ( i.e. drink refills and removal of empty dishes). Otherwise, the overall experience at Dogo Onsen Funaya is excellent. I would recommend Dogo Onsen Funaya to my friends and look forward to staying here in the future.

Our 5-night stay at Dogo Onsen Funaya was nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. Our suite was nice, clean and comfortable. The public bath was well maintained, clean and enjoyable. フロント、お部屋係、配車係、スタッフのみなさんの対応が素晴らしいお宿でした。料理も素晴らしく、愛媛を味わうことができました。朝食を和食か洋食か選べるのも良いですね。こどもがパンがとても美味しいと食べていました。

駅から坂を上がる形ですので、体力がない高齢者には少し難儀かもとれません。ただ、車いすも用意されているので、街中の移動は快適でした。お風呂場が変わった場所にあり、すぐに入りに行きたいという感じではないのが残念でしたし、足が悪い人でも階段を使用するかわざわざリフトを稼働して頂くしかないので面倒でした。夕食・朝食とも料が多すぎるので、量より質を求める人にはダメかな。

Dogo Onsen Funaya Was a wonderful place to stay. Great staff at the hotel to assist you in any way. Excellent onsen on the grounds, which includes a sauna. Close to shopping, restaurants, and a public onsen. Our family had a great time!

It was just like I imagined as the room, Kaiseki dinner & breakfast, and most importantly Onsen itself were just awesome. 4 of us, my mom, wife and daughter just simply amazed and enjoyed light walk to original Dogo Onsen which known to be the inspiration for animation Sen to Chihiro and cute Clock tower show.

観光バスも来ていたので団体客もいたと思うのですが、2食ともバイキングではなかったのでゆっくり落ち着いて食べれました。夕食は食べきれない程の懐石料理でした。朝食も和洋選べますが、私の家族全員、和を選択。地元食材を沢山使った美味しいお料理とスタッフの皆さまがお優しく、ゆったり過ごせました。

2連泊しました。２日目は、日本料理（１日目とは違うメニュー）、和洋折衷、フレンチから選べました。全体的に、接客が素晴らしいです。特にフロントと食事の際の接客が素晴らしいです。１日目に薬を飲むための水をお願いしたら、２日目は頼まなくても用意されていました。 2度目の宿泊ですが、次もまたふなやさんにします。

Quiet. parking avaliable but very limited, good services, no choices of food. We expected there would be several choices but by the end we only knew almost all the dishes were fish when the waiter delivered the dishes to us while my wife is fish allergy.

客室は清潔で、何よりスタッフの対応は、最高でした。食事は、非常に美味しくて、特に朝食は素晴らしかったです。部屋の洗面所にある、拡大鏡が便利で、重宝しました。お庭もよく手入れされていて、足湯があったのには感激しました。旅のいい思い出になりました。

This was the highlight of our entire trip to Japan. The baths were wonderful and the hot spring bath in our room was also great. This was a wonderful hotel. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic.

The Funaya is amazing! The staff were very helpful, they welcome you outside if hotel door take you to checking lobby, everyone we encountered were all great. The lobby is beautiful , the room is huge and super clean, the big onsen , the breakfast, we are happy with everything in the hotel! Oh, the location is excellent, 3 minutes to Dogo onsen station and the shopping street, 5 minutes to the legendary Onsen , can’t be better!
