Loved it here. My wife did not want to leave. We had the dinner, and we couldn't eat anymore. We seemed happy and excited to help us. were beyond full, but it was delicious. It was also our first time having a full Japanese meal. The staff were lovely. They seemed happy and excited to help us. The onsen on site was delightful. Passes were also provided for the public ones along with a shuttle to get you to them. The yukata provided were comfortable. The futon was cozy. The view from the room, the view from the dining area, and the nature at the onsen were all delightful. Will likely go again if or when we get back to Japan.

This was the best hotel--of any style--I've ever stayed at in my life. It was also my first ryokan experience. Everything was top-notch. Service was exemplary--from the check-in staff, to my room attendant, to housekeeping, to the shuttle bus drivers, to the onsen staff--they were all so great! The hotel's onsen were wonderful. I wish I could've gone more often! The kaiseki dinners were outstanding. The western-cuisine restaurant (Ricca) was also outstanding. The rooms and facilities were well-maintained and extremely clean. The waterfall view from the lobby lounge felt so Zen! The shuttle bus was super convenient. Even if you don't make use of the shuttle bus, the property is only a 15-to-20-minute walk to town, and it's a very pleasant walk. The nearest public onsen, Kono-yu, is perhaps less than a 10-minute walk away. (It could've been even faster if I wasn't wearing geta). I can't say enough good things about Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei. Excellent ryokan in a super-nice onsen town. Highly recommended!

送迎バスが30分毎に運行があり、高齢者でも楽に外湯が楽しめました。 チェックアウトの時も、バスタオル類とバッグを貸して頂き、返却も駅の案内所に返却で、とても親切にしていただきました。 食事の方は前日予約の為、朝食のみでしたが、美味しくいただきました。

This property is a 5/5 for sure, this was a highlight of my trip. Spend a little extra and get the premium suite with the private bath. The staff are all amazing, they are super professional and always helpful. The hotel Onsen is amazing too, its baths + sauna were so relaxing. The danger about staying here is you never want to leave the hotel.

I had an amazing time at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei—every minute was a true pleasure. The stay includes free access to all 7 public onsens in Kinosaki, which made the experience even more special. This is a beautiful Ryokan, and even though the facilities are not brand new they are not lacking. Breakfast was very good and the Onsen were very spacious and felt the most new out of all the area.

This was a lovely hotel with onsen. We decided on a half-board which was breakfast and in room dinner which was wonderful. There were 6-7 course dinner. Beautiful grounds, afternoon drinks , nice gift shop with a great assortment of snack foods, gift items, etc.Staff were very helpful .

If I can give it six stars I will .It is elegant, staffs were courteous, hot spring area is outstanding! Dinner is like Michelin stars restaurant. Breakfast buffet is also outstanding. We’ll definitely come back again.

スタッフの方の対応がとても丁寧な申し分ないホテルでした。施設内は清潔で掃除も行き届いており、外湯巡りには送迎バスもあり、雨の日で、傘の貸し出しやタオルもあり、小さい子どもを抱っこし、バス停乗り場が遠くて困っていると帰りは、止まり乗車させていただけました。行き届いたサービスに大変感謝しております。また是非泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした。

This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!

The property was very clean, welcoming and fantastically located. The shuttle bus was fantastic, running every half hour for the majority of the day. The in room dining option was unreal with our host, Veyama being utterly exceptional and explaining each and every dish.

・部屋からの眺望があまり良くなかった。 ・お風呂が夜と朝で入れ替え制になると良かった。 ・夕食付のプランでなくても、気軽に単品の食事ができるレストランがあると良かった(町まで徒歩だとちょっとあるのでそう思いました)。または、20:30からのレストランの開始時をもっと早くしてもらえれば利用したかったです。

お部屋はゆったりと静かだし、大浴場は混雑も無く、客層も良くストレスを感じませんでした。お料理も美味しくてとても満足でした。外湯に行く必要も無いかと思いますが、街を散策したい場合はちょっと離れています。

This place is SO nice. I loved every aspect, from my room to the onsen to the breakfast buffet. The town is really nice too. Quiet though, so if you're looking for vibrant nightlife this isn't it 😀

I wish I could've gone more often! The kaiseki dinners were outstanding. The western-cuisine restaurant (Ricca) was also outstanding. The rooms and facilities were well-maintained and extremely clean. The waterfall view from the lobby lounge felt so Zen! The shuttle bus was super convenient. Even if you don't make use of the shuttle bus, the property is only a 15-to-20-minute walk to town, and it's a very pleasant walk. Everything about Kinosaki Onsen is a dream! The view from our hotel room looked like a painting. The rooms were very spacious. More like an entire condo than a room. The staff were very prifessional and friendly. We felt like royalty. My son lived the pool. It was great to have a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Loved everuthing about it and would love to reurn!

スタッフの方の対応がとても丁寧な申し分ないホテルでした。施設内は清潔で掃除も行き届いており、外湯巡りには送迎バスもあり、雨の日で、傘の貸し出しやタオルもあり、小さい子どもを抱っこし、バス停乗り場が遠くて困っていると帰りは、止まり乗車させていただけました。行き届いたサービスに大変感謝しております。また是非泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした。

Our stay at Nishimuraya was absolutely amazing. From the second we stepped in all the way u til check out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They take youd luggage to your room and give you an explanation of the room set up and customs. They provide yukatas to wear to the onsens and shoes. The foodbwas out of this world and a grwat opportunity to try a traditional Japanese meal. I cant say enough good things. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

This property is a 5/5 for sure, this was a highlight of my trip. Spend a little extra and get the premium suite with the private bath. The staff are all amazing, they are super professional and always helpful. The hotel Onsen is amazing too, its baths + sauna were so relaxing. The danger about staying here is you never want to leave the hotel.

If I can give it six stars I will .It is elegant, staffs were courteous, hot spring area is outstanding! Dinner is like Michelin stars restaurant. Breakfast buffet is also outstanding. We’ll definitely come back again.

Loved it here. My wife did not want to leave. We had the dinner, and we couldn't eat anymore. We seemed happy and excited to help us. were beyond full, but it was delicious. It was also our first time having a full Japanese meal. The staff were lovely. They seemed happy and excited to help us. The onsen on site was delightful. Passes were also provided for the public ones along with a shuttle to get you to them. The yukata provided were comfortable. The futon was cozy. The view from the room, the view from the dining area, and the nature at the onsen were all delightful. Will likely go again if or when we get back to Japan.

This place is SO nice. I loved every aspect, from my room to the onsen to the breakfast buffet. The town is really nice too. Quiet though, so if you're looking for vibrant nightlife this isn't it 😀

The property was very clean, welcoming and fantastically located. The shuttle bus was fantastic, running every half hour for the majority of the day. The in room dining option was unreal with our host, Veyama being utterly exceptional and explaining each and every dish.

Excellent choice for Kinosake-Onsen. Staff was above and beyond amazing. Incredible location. We were a bit worried that this might be too far from the center of town but on the contrary, it was an easy walk and we enjoyed being in a quieter location. Walk into town was beautiful. Can not recommend this place enough!

・部屋からの眺望があまり良くなかった。 ・お風呂が夜と朝で入れ替え制になると良かった。 ・夕食付のプランでなくても、気軽に単品の食事ができるレストランがあると良かった(町まで徒歩だとちょっとあるのでそう思いました)。または、20:30からのレストランの開始時をもっと早くしてもらえれば利用したかったです。

This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!

This was a lovely hotel with onsen. We decided on a half-board which was breakfast and in room dinner which was wonderful. There were 6-7 course dinner. Beautiful grounds, afternoon drinks , nice gift shop with a great assortment of snack foods, gift items, etc.Staff were very helpful .

The hotel experience was awesome and the staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful lobby with garden view and appreciated the welcome drink from the bar. The room provided appropriate clothing for the onsens…yukata, obi, sandals etc. The onsen was modern, spotless and spacious, with both inside and outdoors areas, the later made of large rocks. The shuttle service to other onsen areas and to and from the train station was an added plus.
The hotel experience was awesome and the staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful lobby with garden view and appreciated the welcome drink from the bar. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Decoration was truly Japanese, with tatami mats and sliding doors. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was great, the onsen was so beautiful, and the food was plentiful and delicious.
