No BBQ as advertised no housekeeping no facilities to tidy your own room, Other guests were smoking in their rooms and it was extremely strong odour, despite being a non smoking motel and having a designated smoking area. Pool was lovely ample secure parking location was good

Don’t even bother with this place! I have nothing good to say about it except that it has a nice pool! The room is disgusting and filthy. The mattress had a hole in it. The cups and mugs were dirty and hadn’t been washed! You could hear a noise all night and people outside talking. The door had a 1 cm gap around the whole frame. Traffic noise was really bad! It’s definitely not worth what they charge! Bypass this place and give it a very wide birth if you can! The only thing is the staff are friendly. There is no daily room service or towel service. The cutlery and crockery all odd.

Shower needed new washers long ago dripped all night. Shower screen broken and dysfunctional so floor of bathroom wet on arrival. bathroom door barely slides. Gate to enter property broken, car park gate not functioning. Place in need of maintenance. Upside close to broadbeach and tram.

Arrived to find underground garage with a foot of water over tge floor, and things did not improve. The room had wet carpet in the room plus water seeping onto the floor in the toilet/bathroom. The sliding door blind had slats missing alloeing people walking past to see into your room and at night the outside security lights illuminated the bed area making it very uncomfortable to sleep. When reported to the cleaning staff and reception they did not appear to care and nothing was done to assist.

The room we stayed in had bugs in it. The fridge didn’t work at all so it made us waste our money on our food we got. We also came back to our room late in the night to discover our floor was being flooded with water from underneath the carpet wrecking our bags and our stay.

Overall dirty, grubby with mould in showers, carpets felt like they have never been cleaned, everything just felt dirty, hallway carpets wet, rubbish dumped in carpark because no bins. Overall couldn’t wait to get out.

Just had a mouldy smell to the room, bathroom was mouldy, fan and aircon had dust all over it, didn’t feel clean. Needs more places to sit outside cause room feels cramped. Location was good, close to transport and easy to jump in a car and make way to surfer paradise etc.

Although the booking was for 2 adults , only one coffee cup provided, no glasses. Shower leaked with water all over the floor Kitchen blind full of mould , ceiling had mould spots as did the fire alarm . Celing fan full of dirt and fluff. Table badly damaged.Walls damaged and scuffed. Entry door blind broken, and one of the blind parts fell off when we closed it . Bed linen clean but was provided with one thin blanket between two sheets . Carpet in bedroom dirty and sticky when you walked on it. Overall needs a good scrub and paint

I was highly disappointed at the service provided by the Gold Coast Inn. The room had a really strong smoke smell and was not cleaned properly. I tried talking to the reception about this but completely shut me down and told me the room was clean and there wasn’t any smell. I would highly not recommend staying here.

The studio we stayed had signs of being broken into probably more than once. Inner entrance door not able to be locked from the outside as it had not been fixed from the break ins. Bathroom had no where to hang your towels or clothes. Walls are paper thin you can hear other guests.

Very poor unit all round. Terrible beds. Poor cleaning. Wasn't the room I was shown when I booked. The whole place needs a major overhaul. No one entered our unit the 7 nights we were there and did anything. No rubbish was collected and I couldn't find anywhere to put it. It wasn't a place you wanted to spend anytime in apart from sleeping. The wifi was good. The parking on site was ok. It was very handy for the Florida tram stop so that was a plus but I paid premium and expected slightly better. I wouldn't go there again.

Good location, easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Underground parking was good. Room was okay. The only issue is the tedious process of checking in. We were told by email/text that there was no manned reception. So, car park entry codes and room key lock boxes are issued by text. These are sent pretty late. We arrived after our check in time and although we had the lock box code, the key was not actually in the box - confusing! The signage in the car park was not the best and after managing to find our way out, we were able to locate reception which was manned! Reminded me of competing an 'Escape Room' challenge.

The staff prior to checking in were extremely difficult to deal with. Wouldnt allow my husband to check in even after me calling 3 times to give permission. Still made it difficult when they were given everything they requested. Also happened to get there 1 hour earlier than the 2pm checkin and they wanted to charge $15 per person even though the room was ready. Most places allow you to use the facilities or get into the room if it is ready. Motel was very old, however rooms were clean.

Price was okay. Parking area unkempt and a flickering fluesent light was off-putting. Room good for the price. There was a fiasco with the check in demanding a photo ID. At age 76, not teck savey and the first time in my life for such a request. Took a selfie as an ID and that was not accepted; had to have indentifying details; aughh; got it after a lot of angst; now what are the securities of that data; it was worse than dealing governmental bureaucracy.

Poor directions on access. You have to go through the underground car park to an unmarked door in order to get access to the rooms. Poor hours of front desk; 5 p.m. closingenda to the inconvenience factor. Attendant i spoke to 1st said he'd texte the instructions for site access but latwr emailwd them to me as texts weren't successful Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

Did not have my room available they did know why, so gave me another room that had not been made up, bed had been slept in dirty towels on the floor, so then they gave me another room, finally I was able to get some sleep, very unorganised not helpful and didn’t have any explanations, did even offer a discount for all the mucking around very disappointing would not recommend

Worst check in experience ever. No human contact. The office closed from 5pm. We arrived at 5.45. Had to call a number and do an online checking in the street. Then code was sent,. The lockbox for the key was in garage. No Light in the garage and could not read or open the lockbox. Overall condition of room worse than a Canadian dive.

Staff are super friendly and very helpful they also allowed us to keep our bags at the motel reception after we checked out so we don't have to carry around luggage on our last day of exploring the gold coast. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The amenities that come with the room are great. We will definitely be coming back to this motel if we come back up to the gold coast :)

Everything was done online. Check in was easy and as per online instructions. Wi-fi worked great and password is written on the key and on the envelope where key is placed as well. Room was clean on arrival and assistance easily available online via Expedia for cleaning services. Room is not automatically cleaned daily and you will have to specify what cleaning services you will require which in my experience was carried out as requested. I stayed for 6 nights and required laundry services. Landry room however was not labeled so I couldn't find it. Had to resort to handwash which I really didn't mind doing as there is a clothesline outside and weather was fine. The pool isn't very inviting unfortunately but the beach is literally just 10 minutes walk away and is amazing. G Link train station is literally just outside the motel and very convenient. I would recommend to friends as a great budget accommodation option.

Location of this Motel is excellent as it is just 200 meters away from Florida Gardens tram station. The room were nice with small kitchenette. Washrooms are bit small and congested. Overall a decent place to stay for couple of nights.

The location was on a the main highway with little pull off area which made access difficult until checked in. Staff were friendly and efficient. Access from underground car park to the rooms is up a set of stairs - a small challenge with luggage or mobility issues. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed next to a nice pool. Overall value for money and would be using again.

The pool is good for children and the Italian restaurant on site is amazing. Although the decor is a bit tired the location of the place more than makes up for any shortcomings. I will bring my kids again next year :)

This is a very basic property . Nothing extra , no phone for reception enquires. You have to ask for towels from Housekeeper and then get told go ask reception which is only open for three hours a day. Very noisy you can hear every door slam , person go past your door. Door has no extra security . No staff to tell you about wifi etc. for what we paid I’d expect more . The pool Was also dirty and very hot which was like a tepid pond.

We didnt have high expectations as we just needed somewhere to sleep for the night before we moved to our holiday accommodation, so in the spirit of that, it was fine. Pretty sure in the description it said room service - but there is none, however a coles fuel station right across the road was awesome. Couldve used a power point or 2 actually near the bed as my husband uses a cpap machine and we had to use the one under the tv. Thankfully, hus power cord was long enough. Overall, it did what we needed it to do.

For a 1 night stay it is ok however the property is outdated and it needs a revamp. Scuff marks all over the walls. Bed was ok and so was the shower. Its in a good location between Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach and G Train station is outside the front of the motel. Didn't feel particularly safe at night as there were some dodgy people hanging around the service station which is next door. Limited places to eat other than the Italian restaurant which was good. Would only recommend for a short stay. For what I payed for one night it was not worth it. I asked if I could use a toilet or bathroom as I arrived early and I was told I couldn't as there was no bathroom and to use a public toilet near the beach, very unprofessional considering I payed close to $160 for a one night stay.

Booked the hotel to attend a concert. Directly across the road was the Tram to get to Pacific Fair, which is where we needed to go for a direct bus to Heritage Bank Stadium where the concert was held. The hotel itself was clean, bright and offered the essentials we needed. The bed was clean and comfortable. Having free and secure undercover parking was great. Note to Travellers The reception is closed between 12pm - 2pm. Don't try to drive down the hotel entrance thinking you'll be quick to check in during these times. Instead, find a park on Cannes Ave or Genoa St. There's not much to do in the immediate area, so if you don't mind waiting in your car until 2pm, then you'll be fine.

Good stay for the price. Had a few issues with getting new supplies for the room but that’s no big issue. Wish we got told about the BBQ area and if we could use it to cook dinner one night on it
