It's a bare bones kind of hotel. They have mini kitchens in every room, but there's no pots or pans or are utensils or cups or anything, But at least the bed was comfortable and the water was hot.

It was good even though the hotel is undergoing some renovations. I enjoy the kitchen area and the option to checkout utensuls @the front desk. The limited freedom 2 use all of the doors for exit & entrance with the building but for whatever reason atm only the main door is used for traffic and the remaing doors are emergency only... its good enough for now thank you guys

It was great for the price. Front desk guy was cool so were the ladies. Room was clean, and place was decent. Only thing are the people that are around that area are definately sketchy Oh and if your car has expires plates or if you park on carls jr property they tow your vehicle. I ended up paying 289 for my truck to get it out.

Extended stay America in West Valley City is pretty decent. Place to stay The staff is amazing and polite and very helpful. The rooms are really nice. They have a kitchen, fridge stove so you can cook your family, food or yourself.

Creepy place. You are basically locked in at night. During the day only two doors are open. There are doors at the ends of the hallways but they are hooked up to alarms and you can't use them. During the day one door was left open in the middle of the building and one door you could access with your key card off the front desk area. Parking was crazy, nothing close to the two 'allowed' doors. And you will be towed if you aren't in the correct part of the lot, which isn't well marked. The front desk is not manned 24 hrs. No one to help if you get locked out or arrive late. AND there is a reserved parking space right out front for...... the police. LOL No ice machine, no coffee, nothing. It's really NOT an extended stay but rather apartments with long term tenants and families. Housekeeping is every 14 days, yep, you take out your trash and if you're lucky you can get clean sheets and towels and change yourself. For over 100$ a night, um no. On the plus side the linens were new, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is nice BUT bring everything you might need. No coffee pot and none available. You can pay to use their pans but $40? and another $20 for plates and bowls? No dish towels, sponge or disk soap. The property is old and run down. I'll pass on this one in the future.

Our stay was for work. Have a kitchen and a full sized frig is great. Able to cook meals is a money saver. Fast food all the time gets old really quick. The only thing I could ask for is a bigger TV I'm a little older andy eyes are not the best.

The floors are dirty, the room stinks really bad, there is someone else’s spit on the bathroom faucet, there was a loud popping noise in the room that kept me from sleeping. The beep beep of others going into their rooms was constant all night. I had the ac fan on high trying to drown all that out but it didn’t work. The hallway floors and elevator are filthy. People are living in the building with their pets and they are not being cleaned up after. The sheets and the towels were clean though.

The room was absolutely disgusting. There was a pile of black pubic hair in the sink and trash can of a so called clean room. The blinds were broken and there were drug addicts roaming the property. I was messaging the chat the night my husband arrived delayed in Utah on the way to California as my father was dying. I would have reached out sooner but he died the following day. I would like a refund. This was unacceptable.

What they don’t tell you is that the rooms are sticky, smell of cigarettes despite the hotel being smoking free. They didn’t change the sheets on one of the beds. This contributed to the smell along with the pubic hairs All over the place. The bathroom wasn’t clean. The shower had a layer of grime and filth. The mold and rust were an interesting interior design choice. The stove was left on in my room prior to me checking in. The noise was extreme. Couples fighting in the hallway at 11:45 at night was something I hadn’t had for a few years, so thanks for helping me remember life in a poorer neighborhood. My first night there, there was a fire alarm at 8:30 as someone burnt their tortillas and then opened their door. None of this would have mattered if I got a better room. When I asked for one, I was told the smoke smell was another tenant 2 doors down. I was told the sheets get washed. In the 3 nights I was there, my sheets were never changed.

It smelled, our heater in the room didn’t work. There was pet hair everywhere. Our room was sort of clean. There was paper bits on the floor of the bathroom. No screen on the window. And only half the buttons on the remote worked

Clean, comfortable large rooms. Great location right off I15 in middle of Salt Lake City. It also has great dining options but the best is El Calor Taqueria on redwood rd., for the best authentic Mexican food!!

This may be more on Expedia than the property, but the front desk closed at 10pm. Me and like 5 others all showed up after hours due to canceled flights and had to wait for over 30 minutes as people who arrived before us frantically called Expedia and the hotel to get a staffer to return to the facility to let us in. And the hotel itself can only be described as scuzzy. Broken blinds, no noise insulation between rooms, an AC unit that sounded like a freight train, no basic amenities like a hair dryer, and I wasn’t sure if the bag around the smoke detector was left from the last time they painted or a previous guest freebasing in the room.

I don't think words can describe this place. Maybe go in and look around before you pay. The check in process was awful because the phone on the wall was poorly constructed so when you pressed 1 for an attendant, it would hang up the call. After 20 minutes of that, someone from corporate found the attendant and I was able to check in. There was a smell. The AC did not get cold, there was a huge hole in the screen so mosquitos could come in if you wanted fresh air. The towels (they only allow you two at a time) were dirty. The one bed in the room was a rollaway bed. This was a hotel nightmare.

For the price it was what one would expect. Plastic furniture what little there was, only place to sit was the bed or two plastic chairs. If basic is what your looking for you will get that here. Along with the paper thin walls.

We were awake all night with drug users next-door moaning and crashing around in their room It was scary enough that we left at 4:30 in the morning after getting no sleep The parking lot was full of people smoking and wandering around dazed with drugs at 4:30 in the morning I would not recommend this location to anyone in the right mind

We made reservations at 9:30 pm not planning this trip. We got there at 10:30 pm. No one was there to check us in. We had to pay for another hotel just to have a place to stay. I tried emailing the hotel and no one responded.

This may be more on Expedia than the property, but the front desk closed at 10pm. Me and like 5 others all showed up after hours due to canceled flights and had to wait for over 30 minutes as people who arrived before us frantically called Expedia and the hotel to get a staffer to return to the facility to let us in. And the hotel itself can only be described as scuzzy. Broken blinds, no noise insulation between rooms, an AC unit that sounded like a freight train, no basic amenities like a hair dryer, and I wasn’t sure if the bag around the smoke detector was left from the last time they painted or a previous guest freebasing in the room.

I don't think words can describe this place. Maybe go in and look around before you pay. The check in process was awful because the phone on the wall was poorly constructed so when you pressed 1 for an attendant, it would hang up the call. After 20 minutes of that, someone from corporate found the attendant and I was able to check in. There was a smell. The AC did not get cold, there was a huge hole in the screen so mosquitos could come in if you wanted fresh air. The towels (they only allow you two at a time) were dirty. The one bed in the room was a rollaway bed. This was a hotel nightmare.

Clean, comfortable large rooms. Great location right off I15 in middle of Salt Lake City. It also has great dining options but the best is El Calor Taqueria on redwood rd., for the best authentic Mexican food!!

There was a lot of criminal activity in the area. I witnessed police making arrests on various occasions. I did not feel comfortable walking in this neighborhood alone.

The room was clean, but had a musty smell. The staff was kind and very helpful. The bed was just okay. The biggest problem I had was the people hanging out by the door smoking, there was only one entrance and as we were coming in from our event, some men were outside smoking and started yelling profanity at us.

We were awake all night with drug users next-door moaning and crashing around in their room It was scary enough that we left at 4:30 in the morning after getting no sleep The parking lot was full of people smoking and wandering around dazed with drugs at 4:30 in the morning I would not recommend this location to anyone in the right mind

We needed a hotel in SLC to fly out the next day. This hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood and felt unsafe. It was clean but would not recommend this property. You get toilet paper and soap and that's it.

Right from the very entrance you are given an impression that you have entered a dangerous zone. There are no lamps, no urensils, no tissue paper, paper cups, coffee maker, exhaust fan.

The stay was ok for the price. They could do something about the smell. The hallways and rooms smell dirty. The staff could be friendlier and they should have security so the rif raf isnt all over the property at night.

Staff was helpful but the room was not clean, we did not stay here. And I was already checked in before I seen the room, ended up paying for a room I didn't use, had to go somewhere else, and pay again.
