Great apartment. Clean & comfortable but a bit dated due to its proximity to the ocean (eg:-metal table rusting). Pool & sauna available. Flat, easy walk to beach & many great restaurants. Very handy to venues for the Blues on Broadbeach festival.

Has a great view and has all the amenities that we needed. Great location. We loved the tennis court. Only downside was that some furniture and tools in the apartment room seem to be outdated and not working. Wish they had a portable heater, too.

Our original room wasn’t ideal but the team did an amazing job to shift us to a superior room once one was available. The team are great and service is amazing. The heated pool is large and kids love it!

Stayed in Apartment lower levels. Great view. Noisy at times with street noise if balcony doors open. Apartment clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Pillows soft. Shower good. Could have a couple more towels. Pool great except it was 32 degrees. Cooler a few days later. Central to everything in Broadbeach. Walkable to restaurants and shopping. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. Full size fridge and microwave. Easy on site parking.

Awsome view. About 50 m from the beach and a few minute walk through the park to a fantastic eating and drinking area. Just about every taste catered for. Close to huge shopping mall. Great heated pool and spa pool. Big underground free car park. Room was a little tired but great with good kitchen area and Netflix. Definitely would stay again.

The property had an awesome view form the 17th floor, parking access was easy, walkable to the oasis shopping centre and Kurrawa surf club. the apartment was very clean and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time staying at Talisman Apartments. The communication about check-in was not entirely clear (reception were going to be closed when we arrived) but we figured it out. The apartment was perfect for our needs but there were some parts that were broken or not working. The location was fantastic - the beach was right across the road and the outdoor heated swimming pool was great. The BBQ facilities were great. The local shopping centre was a 4 minute walk away - perfect for picking up groceries. And there were lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby.

Great location - but a little noisy .. you could hear people on the street at night and your neighbours . New bathrooms and kitchen which was great .. but needed a thorough clean and Lounge needed to be steam cleaned. Balcony doors were rusty and didn’t lock very well . I would also suggest a room higher than level 5.. otherwise you don’t get much of a beach view. The apt managers were lovely and very helpful and you do get an underground car park for your car. Good location for families.

It was very noisy, bedrooms need to be doubleglazed. The apartment had not been properly cleaned before wr arrived. The apartment was on a different side of the building to what was advertised and the balcony was considerably smaller. I recommend checking as to what is being provided. It is though, in a great spot and the staff are lovely.

The building was under repairs and my room was the only room on my floor open. The builders started at 8.30am, waking me. The room was dated, not clean. Windows a mess and merky. Window sils uncleaned. Bathroom dated. Kettle discusting. When I asked the manager why I was not told the building was under maintenance... She got firm with me telling me that it was definitely in my booking confirmation and in the finer details of Expedia.... I have checked twice, but I can't find any anywhere, even three days later. I stayed for two nights and only had enough (cheap Brussels) instant coffee for two cups. When I asked for more coffee, I was told that they do not supply more than what is there, she would not budge. She then went on to say that house keeping is only every 5 days. Yes the building is on beach, which is why I paid a premium to be there, however for the state of the building, it's cleanliness, and the rudeness of the management, I would take up the other options in the area that were often half the price.

Great views and roomy apartment. The photos on wotif are not necessarily the apartment you will receive. Some are dated and ours was dirty. No daily cleaning or clean towels. You will need to buy cleaning supplies and soap/shampoo but there is a Woolworths close by. We were put in a 2 bedroom unit but only booked a 1 bedroom. We got charged for using the 2nd bedroom and bathroom $60 a night even though the main bathroom was covered in mould.

Lovely spacious apartment for a family. We stayed in the ocean front apartment. Great views from most rooms in the apartment. Quiet location and close walk to everything. Beach across the street. Building is very clean and well maintained. The area feels very safe for a family. Lots of families in the area.

We loved the apartment we stayed in at the Talisman! I wanted to ensure we had a view (because, well, we were on the Gold Coast), and the view was spectacular! Being across the road from the beach was amazing. And everything was within a close walk, or if we needed to go further afield, we were so centrally located that it was easy. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and comfortable. It had a lovely beachy vibe. Checking in was super easy. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!

The maintenance on the unit was poor, in particular the wind out windows were all broken and could not be opened or closed properly. During inclement weather water entered in places and clothes pegs were used to stop the windows rattling. Also some of the knobs on the kitchen cabinets were missing. Some cleaning items such as brooms & mops were missing.

Beautiful beach view. Older style property freshened up with new carpets and furniture that made it feel clean and bright. Only down side was one aircon in the living area which didn't get down to the bedroom. Not so perfect in summer. If nit for the air con i would give a 10/10

The only draw back for us was the bedrooms are not airconditioned- not a problem April-Sept but i imagine summer would be uncomfortable. Maybe this is something that could be updated - have stayed in seceral 2 bed ocean and they all are the same - so a suggestion for body corp

Our Talisman Apartment was fabulous. We checked in early enough to meet the deadline and collect our keys, we were greeted by friendly staff, the apartment was marvellous with fantastic views. The main living area had aircon, and the only downside was the bedrooms had no aircon, only ceiling fans. Everything else was great and within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars.

Our original room wasn’t ideal but the team did an amazing job to shift us to a superior room once one was available. The team are great and service is amazing. The heated pool is large and kids love it!

Straight after I booked and prepaid, I started receiving a barrage of emails stating that I must provide my credit card for security, or they may cancel my booking. Even after I sent a return message saying it seemed like spam I continued to receive the emails demanding CC details. This was followed by phone calls. Of course I have Jo issue providing security details but how about wait until you see me. I also booked a 1 bedroom apartment and was given a 2 bedroom apartment that had signs everywhere threatening additional charges if other rooms/bathroom was used. Not a comfortable environment

Amazing views and well appointed apartment for a short stay within walking distance of all Broadbeach restaurants. Downsides- The rooms needed a good dusting and the linens/pillows had seen better days. Plus, for the price per night I would expect a coffee pod machine (not instant coffee from the 80s) in the kitchen and facial tissues in the bathroom at a bare minimum. It was also kind of weird that the 2nd bedroom / bathroom was locked with threatening notes on the doors about paying extra if we breached them - felt like we were being treated like schoolies. And one red flag- I was not OK with sending a copy of my license details (in addition to a $500 credit card imprint) into some 3rd party booking system ahead of check in (again with a threat that if we didn' t we could lose out booking); all because the reception is not manned all day on weekends. With cyber crime and ID theft on the increase, there is no way we should be asked to do this ahead of check-in ( who stores these details digitally and where??) - this is a very odd request and not at all safe. Beware.

We had a great time staying at Talisman Apartments. The communication about check-in was not entirely clear (reception were going to be closed when we arrived) but we figured it out. The apartment was perfect for our needs but there were some parts that were broken or not working. The location was fantastic - the beach was right across the road and the outdoor heated swimming pool was great. The BBQ facilities were great. The local shopping centre was a 4 minute walk away - perfect for picking up groceries. And there were lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby.

From check-in everything felt great! ☺️Natalia at Reception was friendly and welcoming. Room 71 on the 23rd level was spacious and spotlessly clean, just as we requested! 😉 No carpets - Perfect!!! Shiny, super clean, large European, marble-like tiles encased this magnificent apartment. This property is right on the beach near the patrolled swimming area. The view of the ocean from the room was exceptional. Close to restaurants supermarket and tram stop very walkable distance. The apartment was spacious with modern furniture. Will definitely stay here again.

We recently had a 10 night stay at Talisman. We had a wonderful time. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive to our needs. The power cut out one day and it was restored by the time we arrived back later that day. Loved the area compared to other areas of the Gold Coast. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on a high floor and the uninterrupted views of the beach and Surfers were amazing. The location was very convenient - close to Woolies supermarket in the Oasis Shopping Centre, close to restaurants and just cross the road and you are on the beach. 6 minute walk to Broadbeach North Translink stop and a 12 minute walk to Pacific Fair. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our apartment was serviced midway through our stay - fresh linen, towels, toiletries, tea towel, tea, coffee and biscuits. We had a few disruptions during our stay as the faulty dining table needed to be removed and switched with another quite early as we were getting ready to go on a day tour and then it was replaced by a new table 3 days later. There was a unit being renovated on our floor with occasional drilling etc. but this really didn’t bother us as we were out and about most of the time. The construction work in the street close by bothered us more as it seemed to start very early - 5.30 am one morning and 6 am on most mornings. We hope to be back to Talisman in the future.

Just beautiful apartment, we booked a ocean view 2 bedroom and it was very spacious and comfortable. Breezy and gorgeous views from every room. Had everything you needed. Great location to beach, shops, restaurants etc I think the beds need to be replaced with better comfort, but just a minor concern. We did sleep well, and it's very quiet. I'll definitely re book for our next visit to Gold Coast.

We booked a "superior" 2- bedroom ocean view room! Phew that sounds wonderful, I am sincerely afraid to see what a standard room looks like in this hotel! Wow, our room was so dated and looked like there was construction underway to upgrade it but the listing was so wrong! I will leave out the positive aspects of this hotel as they are covered in other reviews (i.e., location and pool) but that is all that it has going for it... if the rooms are in this state. We paid almost $600 for the first night and could not believe what we walked into. To give a visual, we bought my daugther brand new white socks from Pac Fair and when she walked around the carpets in the bedrooms for a few minutes, her socks were black! disgusting! Walking barfoot felt like you were walking in a third world country and it felt so gross as your feet sunk into the carpeted areas. The rooms were super dusty as well and all of my kids got sick with green/yellow snot which they were waking up having coughing fits. Both before and after returning home was not like this. The entire place felt dated and was definitely a "standard" room with a few fancy touches with paintings or decorations to "feel" like you were in a better room. Very dissapointed and will definitely not be staying here again and/or recommending this place to anyone.
