Great and convenient place to stay. One exception, the bed had obviously been there too long as there was no support and needs to be replaced. parking is a bit pricey as well. However having said that i would stay again, just not in the same room.

Room was clean but the carpet in the entrance area adjoining the ensuite has water damage as the shower leaks really badly. We had to use the towels to blot up the water that comes directly onto the tiles. The partition between our room and another room was broken which made it feel unsafe on the ground floor as someone could easily walk across to our room. Had to be sure our sliding door was locked overnight which meant no fresh air. The card for the parking was faulty and staff had to buzz us in manually. Our room hadn’t been made up and when I enquired I was told that there is no housekeeping of a weekend. That’s not acceptable. The staff however were very helpful and gave us another set of towels and more coffee pouches.

This property was centrally located to Hawthorn and close to the conference I was attending as well as food shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. It had a small kitchen which allowed us to prepare simple meals. The parking was underneath and reasonably priced.

Staff were friendly and was in great location . However there was a few things not great. Bathroom had no power point, the entry cards interfered with the mobile phones so had to keep getting them re- issued, no bin in lounge kitchen area, the rooms were not cleaned only after I asked it was done. The check in took too long as short staffed - took about half hour., the lamp light globe broke after first day.

Parking are kinda tight but plenty of parks, has elevator to access the lobby, key card didnt work at first at the room but was quickly fixed, front desk opened till 9pm i think so did accomodate our late check in. Room was pretty decent with plenty of space. Quiet rooms and views out the window is not restricted. Bed are soft and floors are clean. Lobby has a coffee machine if you are up for some free coffees. Great stay and would recommend

It was not as good as the ratings and reviews. Room was dusty, mediocre, toiletries was of lower quality and towels has hair on them. I saw that they use regular washer, meant for customers, instead of the heavy duty that kills germs. Was not informed of no housekeeping on public holiday. Was left high and dry with no clean towels as they ran out. Was offered a dishwashing towel to use instead!

Gutel Lage direkt an Strassenbahnhaltestelle. Kleine Dusche. Sauberkeit ist verbesserungswürdig! Die Stelle hinter der Zimmertüre hat schon seit langer Zeit keinen Staubsauger mehr gesehen!

Great place to stay. really convenient to public transport options as well as places to eat. Room was modern and clean and surprisingly large. Reception staff very friendly and open until late. Shower pressure could have been better and the temporary scaffold on the balcony was unexpected, but I presume it wont be there for long. Will definitely stay there again and will in all probability make it my Melbourne base when I come to town.

We had to find ourselves another hotel and relocate in the middle of our trip. Staff are professional and friendly but the mattresses are just too old and mostly broken. The king beds are 2 twin beds next to each other so you can feel the bed frame in the middle of your “king” bed! After seeing that we downgraded our room for a queen bed which was a much smaller unit for the same price! However, regardless of the bed size and configuration, looks like all their mattresses are just too old and I ended up leaving this place with a backache after just a few nights! Room service and cleaning was not to my satisfaction but the mattress issue was a deal breaker and even their staff admitted that most people complain about the quality of their beds! NOT RECOMMENDED

The bed in my room was broken. The alarm went off at 4am. Rooms are nice, clean and quiet. I stayed there for a good nights sleep and wasn’t able to get it. Very disappointed!

I needed to stay 3 nights during renovations to my home and my stay was excellent as the bedroom is like an apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, huge bed, huge windows so plenty of light, location is great near the Hawthorn shops, cafes and restaurants, cinemas, Catholic Church and tram and train. Excellent in every sense.

This property was centrally located to Hawthorn and close to the conference I was attending as well as food shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. It had a small kitchen which allowed us to prepare simple meals. The parking was underneath and reasonably priced.

Its location is only 5mins walk from the nearest train station and train ride is just 20mins away from the city. Good value for spending.

The room (Studio Executive) I stayed in was outstanding, with a balcony & fantastic views of the city & also up & down Glenferrie road. It’s within walking distance of a multitude of shops, cafes & restaurants. The entire property was immaculately clean. The room was well soundproofed, with every amenity you could need for an overnight or weekly stay. I have stayed in many properties in & around Melbourne over the last 10 years & for the price, amenities & area…Mainstay Suites Hawthorn is one of the best in my opinion!
