Stayed in one of the suites with a view of the sea and enjoyed listening to the waves at night. We appreciated the ability to book an airport transfer through the hotel. We walked to multiple restaurants in the area and enjoyed walking up the hill in the city for a good view. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, staff were friendly

Stayed at Villa Siesta Hotel Istanbul Airport for one night before flying. It was very pleasant, quiet, and cozy. We enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning and would recommend it again. There are several restaurants without walking distance as well. It was too cold for us to visit the beach while we were here but the location was excellent for beach access.

Overall we had a marvelous stay! We were not provided adequate sheets for the sofa bed, only blankets. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper as these were stocked in the room, there were some maintenance issues like jagged metal coming up between tiles - we solved it by putting down a towel. The hotel is in a perfect location, and the restaurant in the hotel is fabulous with many selections for lunch and dinner, but only offered one Turkish breakfast option- no menu choices. The sofa bed was not long enough to fit my child- do not plan to put an adult of the sofa bed. The linens and real beds were comfortable. The view was amazing from our ocean facing room, but the twin room had no view. The staff were very accommodating and helped switch our rooms around so our family could be in the same building. There is no elevator - but the staff helped us to carry our bags up the stairs. I would stay here again if given the chance. We had such a lovely peaceful time here!

Great hotel to stay for an overnight layover near the airport. We opted to get our own airport transfers (uber taxis) and each way cost around 25 euros so the hotel’s offer of 29 euros each way so that seems pretty reasonable, too. The hotel is a nice property and they include breakfast (nothing to write home about but decent) so it’s got a nice bed and breakfast feel. Our check in late at night wasn’t very smooth (I was confused why they had us fill out a form when I made a reservation online already) but that was just a minor hiccup so overall we were pretty happy with this nice quaint property.

We stayed here the night before a departure from Istanbul airport because it is much closer than central hotels. The Villa Siesta exceeded my expectations with its smart, renovated furnishings. The ocean front balcony was delightful. There are small markets and restaurants along the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I used uber to obtain taxis. Highly recommended.

I had a 19hr stopover in Istanbul so decided to search for a hotel near the airport; Villa Siesta Hotel was one of the first hotels to appear in the options... I thought it was located very "near" the airport, but it ended up being a 25min drive. The only attractive part of the location was the boardwalk and a phenomenal restaurant a couple of blocks away from the hotel (Eskere Restaurant). The staff was very amicable and willing to offer the best service. All worked out pretty smoothly. Breakfast was included, BUT I had to leave early to the airport, so they offered a sandwich that was ready that morning.

Received a plain omelet, a lot of bread, assorted cheeses, cut apples and oranges, several slices of ham, jam, the most delicious honey, and butter, so much food we were unable to finish! All very tasty. The room was tidy but the bathroom shower stall could have used a good mildew stain remover around the edges. It was okay for one night. We arrived late in the evening but the staff helped carry our luggage to the second floor as there is no elevator access.

Room was OK, but maintenance is not good: shower walls had a door (glass) almost to the point of falling, so I had to fix it; shower was almost broken and the upper part (rain drop) did not work. The door of the balcony almost fell when we opened, so we opted for not using the balcony (very good view, but not usable, as we were afraid it would fall off when opening again). But the worst part of it was the lack of food food and good service, to the point that they did not even pick the garbage from the bathroom, neither clean the room, nor changing the towels while we were out, so we decided to use it only for sleeping. We asked for extra pillows (my wife has back problems), and although they said they could not give us the number of pillows we asked for, they promise to give us at least a couple, which they forgot on the first night, so my wife could not sleep that night. In conclusion, I would say we had a very bad experience at this…hotel? This is the first time we encounter a situation like this, so against our desire, we had to write this review so other people are aware. I hope management of the hotel takes this review into consideration and improves all mentioned situations, so the hotel thrives and it is sought by tourists; we mean no harm, but to make them aware of the issues and proceed to fix them.

Our stay was excellent! The staff were very prompt, helpful, friendly, and hospitable. Wonderful Turkish breakfast in the morning. The room had a great view to the beach and Black sea. It was cozy and spacious, nice design as well. Clean bathroom and shower. My only comment for future improvement - the decorative lotus panel above the bed was very dusty, and the dust was quite visible on the black background. Vacuuming it once in a while will significantly improve the overall feel of the room. Thank you! I would without a doubt recommend this place to anyone.

The location is excellent. They catfish the rooms a bit. The photos of the room looked large and spacious. In reality the room was extremely tiny. It was very clean but the shower water did not drain so we would have to stop mid shower to let the water drain so it would not flood the bathroom. The staff were very friendly.

This hotel is awesome! We're a tourists from Japan and our family loved it (we stayed one night before heading out from the Istanbul airport); amazing Black Sea view, clean, well designed & spacious interior and fantastic meals (we had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there). The staff was phenomenal.

The room was so very tiny and on 2nd floor. Could hardly walk around. Room was good for 1 person. No table nor chair to sit on. It was worst then a prison cell. Being a Gold member is of no use. You are not respected. Persistently, asked to change the room. They didn't care. Staff was very nice and kind. No issues with the staff.

Room was OK, but maintenance is not good: shower walls had a door (glass) almost to the point of falling, so I had to fix it; shower was almost broken and the upper part (rain drop) did not work. The door of the balcony almost fell when we opened, so we opted for not using the balcony (very good view, but not usable, as we were afraid it would fall off when opening again). But the worst part of it was the lack of food food and good service, to the point that they did not even pick the garbage from the bathroom, neither clean the room, nor changing the towels while we were out, so we decided to use it only for sleeping. We asked for extra pillows (my wife has back problems), and although they said they could not give us the number of pillows we asked for, they promise to give us at least a couple, which they forgot on the first night, so my wife could not sleep that night. In conclusion, I would say we had a very bad experience at this…hotel? This is the first time we encounter a situation like this, so against our desire, we had to write this review so other people are aware. I hope management of the hotel takes this review into consideration and improves all mentioned situations, so the hotel thrives and it is sought by tourists; we mean no harm, but to make them aware of the issues and proceed to fix them.

Wonderful Staff and Great Service The staff were wonderful and the service was excellent. Breakfast was great — when I asked for lettuce leaves, they brought me a huge plate of greens, which was so kind! But my favorite part was the Turkish coffee, available at any time of day and included in my stay. And of course, the fact that you can just cross the road and jump into the Black Sea!! A wonderful place to rest between flights if you're tired of Istanbul.

I love the service. They came out to the cab, helped with our luggage. Took our passports and checked us in , while we sat down to relax from the long trip. They brought us tea and sweets on the house. After we were done, they carried our luggage up to the room. I really recommend this place.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We hired their transfer services round trip. We were only there for a night since we were heading to Goreme before dawn. When arriving at IST the luggage took nearly an hour to receive. The driver kept communicating with me via WhatsApp and waited for me and my wife. When checking in they offered us tea, coffee and delights. Made us feel welcomed. The rooms were clean and modern. The hotel is very close to the airport and great for layover. The beach was right in front and relaxing. There were many places within walking distance to grab a bite. Definitely a place to stay.

Great service from this hotel. I had an issue with a taxi driver who charged me too much. They helped me solve this problem and called police. The driver lost his job. The hotel made me pizza at night with pastries and tea.

Such a great place! Beautiful and cozy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice promenade by the sea. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Also, the area itself is not as noisy as the other hotels by the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Across the street from the beach. Good service and friendly service, a 25 minute ride from Istanbul Airport. We chose the hotel to be able to escape Istanbul traffic and experience a Black Sea beach resort. Major work on upgrading the beach with walkways and water features will be finished by September 2023.

I booked this place because I have to stay one night for an early flight in the morning and it looked on the map that this hotel would be really reasonable and quite close to the hotel. Yet the reality was that the hotel was about 40 minutes away since there is no fast connection. Other than that, this hotel was very nice and comfortable inside even though the outside wouldn't reveal that. Right at the beach with few restaurants and shopping abilities around. I also found it interesting that you are able to bring your own wine or beer and even food into the restaurant area.

Beautiful room with a view of the sea--the beach is accessible right across the street. We used the hotel's efficient transportation to and from the airport for our one-night stay. Staff was attentive and friendly. We ate at the hotel's restaurant (not a lot of other options around) and the food exceeded our expectations! The location of the hotel felt safe, with families using the beachfront park into the night.

The ocean front balcony was delightful. There are small markets and restaurants along the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I used uber to obtain taxis. Highly recommended.

Overall we had a marvelous stay! We were not provided adequate sheets for the sofa bed, only blankets. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper as these were stocked in the room, there were some maintenance issues like jagged metal coming up between tiles - we solved it by putting down a towel. The hotel is in a perfect location, and the restaurant in the hotel is fabulous with many selections for lunch and dinner, but only offered one Turkish breakfast option- no menu choices. The sofa bed was not long enough to fit my child- do not plan to put an adult of the sofa bed. The linens and real beds were comfortable. The view was amazing from our ocean facing room, but the twin room had no view. The staff were very accommodating and helped switch our rooms around so our family could be in the same building. There is no elevator - but the staff helped us to carry our bags up the stairs. I would stay here again if given the chance. We had such a lovely peaceful time here!

The hotel arranged a roundtrip airport transfer for me, which was very convenient. My sea-view room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Mi estadia fue de una noche. Me ofrecieron transporte del aeropuerto, ida y vuelta, lo cual fue muy conveniente! La experiencia fue excelente porque nos recibieron con un te y postres, super lindo! Como dejamos el hotel a las 3am, nos dieron unos sandwiches para el caminom, no pudieron ser mas lindos! Gracias por todo chicos!

Very cosy hotel right on the beach and not far from the Istanbul new airport. We often fly via Istanbul with overnight layover and in the past we used to take a long taxi drive to town amid heavy traffic. And now we have discovered a good alternative in Karaburum which is much closer and more relaxing. This hotel is a good option in Karaburum. The staff are nice and helpful, the breakfast is excellent, the village atmosphere around is pleasant. A small problem was water on the balcony of our room: No drain has been built to let water out, and after the rain the balcony becomes a small pool. We could live without a balcony as it is just a couple of steps from the room to the small garden and beach, Therefore it was not annoying but rather funny that builders could do such a blunder. Otherwise, very nice hotel!

I can't say enough nice things about this place! Staff is super, Food is super (and fresh!). Rooms are spacious. Location is ideal. Bed is comfy. You could do a *lot* worse. Highly recommended.

I can honestly say that I have never personally written a review for this hotel before, so I was quite surprised to see that I had apparently given it a 4-star rating. I’m not sure if I may have started writing a review and never finished it, but I wanted to leave a proper review this time! We chose this hotel because we had to take a domestic flight the morning after arriving at the airport. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Since we were traveling with a large family group, we had many questions about the airport shuttle, and every time we contacted the hotel, they responded so kindly and patiently. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and instead of a breakfast buffet, they prepared sandwiches for us, which were absolutely delicious! We also really enjoyed taking a walk along the beach right in front of the hotel the next morning. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again! :-)
