Great old hotel. Staff was great! No elevator and small rooms but adds to ambiance. Parking is not good, but just due to area, which is great for walking to local shops and eats. We didn't have time to adventure around this time, but plan on going back just to do that, and try out the hotel restaurant. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful renovation of 1912 hotel. Rooms are well done and very clean. Excellent restaurant off the lobby. Refrigerator and microwave available though not in the rooms. Coffee and sweets available 24 hours. Need an ice machine. Great nostalgic atmosphere. Due to age of building there is no elevator or parking facility. These 2 items cannot but changed, but they are worth dealing with to stay here.

We were visiting relatives in the area and wanted to be CLOSE to Branson without being IN Branson. The Inn is very conveniently located close to Branson Landing --- only minutes away. We felt very safe in the area of the Inn. This is a very well-maintained historic hotel with lots of character but lacks some of the conveniences we have come to expect in a hotel room -- like lots of electrical outlets and USB ports. We could not control the temperature in our room. The TV service was streaming services provided thru ROKU (No cable or satellite.) The Inn did offer adequate wi-fi service. There is no elevator to the second floor where the rooms are located (it is a historic building) but we were offered help getting our luggage to our room. (Declined) The restaurant, The Pour House on the main floor, has good food and drinks, and appears to be a local favorite. It was always busy during our 3-night stay. The bed was too firm and not to our liking. The bathroom was nice size, but I think we had one of the largest rooms. The continental breakfast included weak coffee, fruit, water, and pre-packaged pastries --- not to our liking. We stayed at Ye Old English Inn because of the location and the experience of staying in a historic hotel. Would we stay there again --- probably.

Just not happy with the overall stay. The room was not clean, and had a weird odor. The pictures appeared better than in real life. Lots of noise outside of our room and noise from the street. The restaurant and bar must be really good, they were very busy. I would like to come back and try those, just not stay over night there.

It’s only fair to note this is a 100 year old inn, which explains the small rooms. The public areas were full of charm and well decorated. The Paddington room had a small but nice bathroom with a large shower, new Kohler toilet, sink, faucets and luxurious towels. …although there was someone else’s hair on the shower wall. The mattress was comfortable except the stained sheet with a hole was put on top of a hard plastic mattress protector that made a racket every time you rolled over. Upgrading the bedding to the same quality as the bathroom is needed. There should be a thick mattress pad between the sheet and the plastic mattress cover. Afternoon desk attendants are hard to find. We put the service tag on the door to request new towels - did not receive. This inn has so much potential that’s being missed and it wouldn’t take much money to capture it.

The only good thing about this property was the dining option next door. If I hadn’t booked and paid in advance, we would have left. The carpet is FILTHY. The towels and bedsheets are old and dingy. The regular rooms are VERY tiny, maybe a foot on either side of the bed. The phone didn’t work, and there were no outlets except the one BEHIND the bed or in the bathroom. There were holes in the bathroom wall and the bathroom was so small (and old and dirty) that the toilet paper holder was literally attached to the back of the bathroom door. We could hear the people in the room next door clearly and there was at least 1.5 inches below the connecting doors so no privacy. We had to put a blanket at the bottom of the door! There is zero maid service, hard to even get a towel. There is NO thermostat in the room! We had to call, and they had to adjust it from somewhere else. We were always hot or cold. The staff were rude. I could go on and on. If you want an 1800’s Olde English crappy experience, you are getting it. If you want comfort and cleanliness, so somewhere else.

Cute hotel with a lot of character. The room was tiny, just enough room for a full-size bed and a desk chair by a wall-mounted desk. Food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. Close to Branson Landing. Friendly staff.

This was one of the funnest stays I’ve ever had in the Branson area. This little Inn was about as cute as they come and we will for sure stay again! I will say that if you’re a warm sleeping bring a travel fan because you cannot control the ac in your room.

Our room was very cold all three nights. It's an old quaint Inn. The heating is just as old. The employees were great. The on-site restaurant was good. The cleanliness needs some work. With a little effort the place could be amazing.

This had to be the worst room in this hotel. I have stayed in cruise ships and on trains that have bigger rooms. No closet no place to store anything could barely walk around the bed. We’ll never go back.

If you are looking for a historic and quaint hotel, this one fits that. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the rooms are small. There’s no place to hang clothes and very little space with drawers for clothes so basically work out of your suitcase. We were in room 202 which is right above the dining room where they put large groups And you can hear everything from the dining room. Our toilet must’ve had a slow leak because every hour the tank would start filling itself again. The switch for the fan light, the off button for the fan would not work so you had to shut the whole thing off, but then you had no light. The view from our window Was a green metal roof. It is a quiet area and parking was never an issue

Gorgeous property. The whole building is beautiful inside and out. From our experience this place is more like a restaurant that happens to have a hotel in it than a hotel with a restaurant. The front desk was never staffed which luckily we didnt need anything after getting checked in.The room i came in prepared that it would be on the small side but if youre sharing a room with someone you're not used to get ready to be really close haha. While the restaurant was open it was very loud in the room but once they closed for the night the whole place was silent. There was an odd lingering scent in the hallway that was rather unpleasant but i never saw anyone to mention it to so we just ignored it. Overall the hotel is Gorgeous for $80 but if youre spending an extended amount of time in the hotel room you may want somewhere else. There is also a fantastic homeade icecream shop down the street that makes adult shakes and floats! They were absolutely fantastic.

Staff was warm & welcoming. Had an issue with the room and they accommodated us. Room was small but it was very nice since we only slept there didn't need much else. Highly recommended especially since it is only like 5 min from Branson. Room rates were very reasonable. Nice quiet area to sit outside & relax at the end of a long day. Thank you for an awesome stay.

A very sweet and lovely English Inn. It's like you stepped back into time with this hidden treasure. The Inn Keeper ( I forgot his name) was very helpful and responsive and eager to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. . We ended up staying an extra day. Will only stay at the Inn the next time we are in Branson.

Easily the worst experience I’ve had traveling in my 48 years of life. Front desk staff was incredibly rude. We found out after driving 5 and 1/2 hours that because we had a 4 year old child with us, we could not stay. Nowhere is this mentioned on their site. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. I’d highly discourage staying here based on my experience alone

Concierge was outstanding. Checking in and out was a breeze. Quaint, historical inn. Grand staircase. There are multiple common lounges. Our room was squeaky clean. The temperature was very comfortable even though the weather fluctuated from 49 to 81. This is our second stay, and we will return. After checkout the front desk called to to say they had found some jewelry I had mistakenly left in our room. They will mail it to me. Honest, thorough housekeeping!

Concierge was outstanding. Checking in and out was a breeze. Quaint, historical inn. Grand staircase. There are multiple common lounges. Our room was squeaky clean. The temperature was very comfortable even though the weather fluctuated from 49 to 81. This is our second stay, and we will return. After checkout the front desk called to to say they had found some jewelry I had mistakenly left in our room. They will mail it to me. Honest, thorough housekeeping!

Check in took a while just waiting for someone to come to the front desk. Room was not the cleanest, and the walls are very thin, so can be noisy if your neighbors are loud. Staff was cordial, but not overly friendly, but that's ok. Great price and a nice atmosphere, but i will stay elsewhere next time.

We were visiting relatives in the area and wanted to be CLOSE to Branson without being IN Branson. The Inn is very conveniently located close to Branson Landing --- only minutes away. We felt very safe in the area of the Inn. This is a very well-maintained historic hotel with lots of character but lacks some of the conveniences we have come to expect in a hotel room -- like lots of electrical outlets and USB ports. We could not control the temperature in our room. The TV service was streaming services provided thru ROKU (No cable or satellite.) The Inn did offer adequate wi-fi service. There is no elevator to the second floor where the rooms are located (it is a historic building) but we were offered help getting our luggage to our room. (Declined) The restaurant, The Pour House on the main floor, has good food and drinks, and appears to be a local favorite. It was always busy during our 3-night stay. The bed was too firm and not to our liking. The bathroom was nice size, but I think we had one of the largest rooms. The continental breakfast included weak coffee, fruit, water, and pre-packaged pastries --- not to our liking. We stayed at Ye Old English Inn because of the location and the experience of staying in a historic hotel. Would we stay there again --- probably.

This was a quiet and quaint hotel. We loved the charm and everyone was very nice and helpful. The pub next door was excellent as well. The location is near the Branson Landing but you don't have to fight all of the traffic to get to the Landing.

We have returned to Ye Old English Inn multiple times as it is a unique, affordable and comfortable place to stay in the Branson area without all the hustle and bustle of the strip. As always, we had a great stay.

Husband and I stayed here for a short trip. The staff is so friendly and the whole place/the rooms are charming and clean. There’s plenty of food and shops nearby with the beautiful scenery too. We’d stay here again!

Nice old English feel. No elevator if stairs are a problem for you. Also no fridge or microwave. Other than that a very nice atmosphere and ambiance. Close to Branson Landing.

It was so unique. The staff was so personable. It was like staying in a BnB with all the amenities of a hotel. The restaurant's food and drinks were to DIE for & and we are serious foodies! The only I would fiss about were little things, there were no Kleenex in the room, and the "continental breakfast" was , well, a joke, really. But the character of the place made up for that! I'm definitely going back!

Cute hotel with a lot of character. The room was tiny, just enough room for a full-size bed and a desk chair by a wall-mounted desk. Food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. Close to Branson Landing. Friendly staff.

The inn is small but very clean and cozy! We booked a suite and we absolutely adored it. It has a rich history and it is well preserved. The staff was very friendly, professional, and informative. Our bed was so comfortable and we were well rested. The restaurant that's attached has some absolutely amazing food is worth a visit if you're there.

Super great stay! It’s an old English style inn that has tons of charm! Bed was comfortable and having a ceiling fan was great. The attached restaurant was amazing! Really cool walkable area of Hollister

This place is so cute. It’s older obviously and part of the charm. Excellent restaurant there and it’s located in an area with little coffee shops and a few shops to look at. Very convenient location to Branson and Thunder Ridge Arena. The rooms are really small, but quiet and the rooms are each named a location. I also liked that they have homemade cinnamon rolls in the morning :-)

Visited over Labor Day for the Branson Air Show. Quaint place, very much Old English. Rooms, at least ours, was small which is like England and most of Europe. Pros: John at the front desk. We only saw him on first day, and missed his service and friendliness the next two days. Female at the desk was nice but not very service oriented. (Last part is a con) Beds are comfy. Most towels were new and clean, some were old and stained.They .were white. Air was very adequate and cool. Water had great pressure and always warm enough. Clean rooms (also see con) Restaurant was very busy but service and food excellent. no reservation, first come first served. Coffee was excellent. Cons: Extra blanket on bed-yuk!! I will not describe due to the yuk. Female front desk did bring clean one when I told her but never addressed the yuk one. Doors, to hall and adjoining room are very thin, gape, and allow noises, mainly from adjoining room. Extra towels to cover bottom gap, TV and white noise were needed!! Not much to do on the street. One gift shop was open and cute (pro)-must visit. Stairs only, not an issue for us but might be for some. Halls could use new/clean carpet. Breakfast was hostesses cakes and fruit. RecommendHollister Coffee Shop! Bottled water sometimes. Community fridge. When restaurant is busy, parking sucks. Usually not many spaces until after 8. Tub with shower instead of walk in shower, might be an issue for some. Good adventure, probably won’t return.

Staff is exceptional, cordial, professional and attentive! We felt welcomed and cared for! We loved the Inn and the restaurant! If you go to bed before 10:00 pm this Inn may not be for you. The restaurant and pub is downstairs and very loud until it closes. It was not a problem for us as we just turned the television louder. There is definitely a lot of history in this Inn and pub/restaurant. BTW, the restaurant food is very good!
