The room was very clean. Room was very nice simple but nice king bed very comfortable. View from balcony on the second floor ocean front was fabulous. Love that they had umbrellas and loungers to be placed on the bed by a great guy. All included while you stay there beautiful deck if you Prefer to seat deck side and not go on the beach

Stayed in a king ocean front. It was amazing. The front desk staff was so friendly and they had a person that brought hotel chairs and umbrellas to the beach. So convenient! Didn’t swim but the pool looked clean.

My husband and I stayed for one night at Montauk Blue. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and stunning view of the ocean. Staff was extremely nice. Didn't swim in the pool, but we wanted to look at the pool room. The pool was extremely clean and inviting. Next time, we will try the jacuzzi. The hotel is a 2 block walk to Main Street. Ate dinner at Shagwong. Everything was great. Will be back.

Without doubt, the best thing about the Montauk Blue is the location on the beach. To hear the waves crashing, sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and having such easy access to the beach was just amazing. The property itself is very dated, while the rooms are comfortable and clean, there were a few things that let it down. Firstly, no glasses to drink out of, no forks yet there was two knives, the shower was difficult to work and I felt I wasted a lot of water trying to get the water to heat up. Also the balcony was very dirty, lots of rust that had fallen off the air conditioning unit and no attempt to clean it up and lots of hairs on the balcony covering. It’s not the standard I would expect for the very hefty price. However, as soon as you see the view of the beach and the sea, all the negatives melt away. I guess that’s what drives the price up. I do recommend the Montauk Blue for the wonderful location, just don’t expect 5 star luxury.

It is right on the ocean so you can either enjoy the beach or relax on chairs right outside your door and watch the waves. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. As far as physical structure, there was a chunk of wood missing from the railing outside our room and there were ants in the room. Also, I had to pay an additional fee when I checked in because I booked through Expedia. This should have been explained beforehand.

I am absolutely floured at the incident that occurred on the night of 7/26. A drunk loud couple stomping and banging until 1AM. Cops were called but because the husband was a cop himself he received special treatment while myself and 3 other rooms had to deal with insanity the entire night. The staff didn't ask them to leave and were fully aware of what went on. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to shower there were 3 ants. I made the decision to leave.

I am absolutely floured at the incident that occurred on the night of 7/26. A drunk loud couple stomping and banging until 1AM. Cops were called but because the husband was a cop himself he received special treatment while myself and 3 other rooms had to deal with insanity the entire night. The staff didn't ask them to leave and were fully aware of what went on. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to shower there were 3 ants. I made the decision to leave.

Motel like hotel with outdoor entrance to rooms. Room was fairly clean but kind of small and the bathroom was pretty small. The location was excellent. Right on the beach just down the street from Main Street. Our room was in the second floor with balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Expensive but can’t beat the view

The hotel was very convenient, especially being right on the beach. The only thing we were very happy with was the bed. We booked King size bed, but the bed was so flimzy that you felt every movement the other person made, so therefore not allowing either myself or my husband a good night's sleep.

Everything was amazing except 1 minor thing, the sliding door wouldn’t close and it let bugs in, I would have liked to sleep with the sliding door open instead of the loud air conditioner, other then that, very convenient to walk around the hotel to the beach. Stay was amazing. I happen to stay at the very same room. My husband and our children stayed in over 10 years ago and that was just by luck.

Motel like hotel with outdoor entrance to rooms. Room was fairly clean but kind of small and the bathroom was pretty small. The location was excellent. Right on the beach just down the street from Main Street. Our room was in the second floor with balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Expensive but can’t beat the view

Not the most modern, but a clean room with an unbeatable location right on the beach, and also 5-10 min walk to most places in downtown MTK. We had an ocean front king which had an amazing view.

Clean and tidy with great staff. The view and beach access was amazing. Sunset and Sunrise from you balcony. Easy walk into town for good pizza and bars.

Our stay was lovely. We had an Ocean view corner room which was a little far from where they put out chairs for the hotel residents, but we had our own. The service was excellent . The location of the Blue is excellent, no need to use a car when going into town.

This is a basic motel on the beach. Which is what they all are here in Montauk, what did I expect?? No amenities. Indoor pool is a little sad. Aren't all indoor pools a little depressing?? Have to walk 1/2 block for coffee and food. Bake Shop is really great. The Room smelled of a little sewer backup and salt air/mold - could not figure out which was the strongest smell. They were unfazed when we told them of sewer smell - they moved us to a room 3 doors down. I think they just book the room until someone complains. AC wall unit was noisy, we opened the sliding door to enjoy the ocean waves. Bathroom maintained with caulking and paint to hide bathtub chips. Sink had giant crack in it. No safe in the room. This is a motel, really. Beach was shallow, high tide wiped out the whole sitting area of the beach., This place is basically a parking space and bed to sleep in - while enjoying the rest of the east end, not a place to call home away from home.. Shame this basic accommodation is $700 a night in season. And it was FULL! Why and how? are people really that desperate for vacation that THIS kind of place commands THAT kind of money?? Annnyway, we won't come back here.. Thanks...

This property is absolutely adorable! Blue and White sitting RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! We had our own little deck and then there is a long full deck for everyone to lie out in the sun. Beach is pristine and gorgeous! You can fall asleep listening to the waves. Walkable to downtown Montauk, little shops and restaurants. Only downside was the air conditiioning unit was really really loud. When it 'clicked on', it make so much noise. Need to replace and put in wall units that are super quiet. But, my Mom and I stayed her and loved it. Absolutely adorable! And, the location can NOT be beat! You will love it!

Very clean hotel. A lot of lil touches made it special . Chair and umbrella service even after check out for no extra charge . Staff couldn’t be nicer . Centrally located. Walk to town. Comfortable bed .

This hotel is right on the water and the location is perfect for all places downtown. It was so nice not having to worry about parking around town as we could just walk around. Additionally, the hotel was extremely accommodating with our late arrival and the towel/chair services for the beach are unbeatable. The cleaning services were extremely thorough as well.
